The food was good. But the service was horrible. We ordered our meal. Then we had a different person deliver our food. And the waitress came in through biscuits on our table and never saw her again. We want to order another drink and to get a to go box for the rest of our lunch. She never came back no one ever came back to check on us. We were stuff far back in the corner, and forgotten about. Then I took my stuff that I needed boxed up to the hostess stand. And she went back and proceeded to talk shit about us that we could hear her in the front. I assume they probably spit in my food. Talk to the manager and I didn't do a whole Lotta good either. We will not be back to that red lobster ever again. We had something similar happened a year ago and thought we would try them out again. But this red lobster Doesn't care about customer service. It's getting to be that customer service is a thing of the past. And it's really unfortunate because I love red lobster. read more

Seafood. Seafood. Seafood. One of the few seafood places in town that one can call a nice restaraunt. Yes, there are steakhouses that serve seafood. But this restaraunt is dedicated to seafood. I have never had bad service here, I am happy to say. The food is = par at best. Full bar. Dessert menu. Funny thing is... Passing through Pueblo. Hungry for seafood. We almost went next door to the Italian restaurant because their parking lot was more full. Glad we didn't. Our host, Santiago, is a superb gentleman. We were seated immediately, albeit was a Monday about 5:30. Our waiter, Pete, is very professional, friendly and polite. 1 star for existing. Arrived out of town. Blue cheese dressing delicious; slopped over bowl rim top/bad presentation. Tilapia stuffed & langostinos in white Burre sauce; missing stuffing, only 3 langostinos. Green beans w/mushrooms; half were shriveled & burnt, not edible. Cheddar mash potatoes had no cheese flavor, rather not hot, fresh tasting. Waitress was apologetic; brought another small dish sauce w/exactly 3 quarter size langostinos. We waited at our table for 1.5 hours and didn't recieve our food. Waitress was ok and apologized but daid the kitchen was really slow. We had a couple of baskets if biscuits but didn't even see food coming to tables near us including one with kids. We finally decided that all you can eat shrimp would only consist of one serving if we got it. So we put sime cash on the table and left. If you want Red Lobster, drive to another city. I will never be returning to this location. We waited 45 minutes for our dinner. I got salad that had brown rotten greens in it. My broccoli had black stem ends and about half had brown spots. The second of my husband's crab legs had a funny taste, so he didn't eat the rest. We paid almost $90 for a meal that we couldn't eat. I think it's pretty unfair this restaurant has a low rating on yelp. It has caused me to avoid it for a year with the thinking "that it must be bad if I habe terrible experience at restaurants rated much higher, right!?!". I was wrong. I have had terrible, I mean wretched, dining experiences in pueblo since I moved here but not tonight, NOT at the red lobster. Our waitress (and the hostess) provided great service and she even had an 11 top seated at the same time. The food was a fantastic and I come from the south where seafood is a staple. Please don't let other reviews discourage a visit, the service is some of the best in pueblo. read more

This place was great 3 years ago. Recently the service and food have gone down hill quickly. The last time we went we waited an hour before we got our appetizers, it was another half hour our kids were starving so we went to talk to the manager. They finally got our food for us to go. Terrible terrible food. Overcooked steak. The chips were soggy, greasy, & floppy. So much that we had to ask for more, and those took forever and ever to come out. I love red lobster but this is one to skip! Staff was friendly and we were seated quickly (party of two) but the food was absolutely terrible. I'm not a huge fan of Red Lobster - their food is okay for a chain restaurant. However, sometimes service and the overall experience can overcome some of their culinary shortcomings, or hurt them even further. We took my mom to her restaurant of choice for her 88th birthday. Being a Friday night, and with ten people in our party, we called in advance to be placed on their call-ahead list with an ETA of 6:00. We got there at 6:00, and were told to have a seat in the waiting area, which we expected. However, we did not expect our wait to end up being 90 minutes. The only reason we stayed was my mom doesn't get out much and likes their coconut shrimp. The reason for the 90 minute wait was that they apparently only have a couple of tables in the entire restaurant that accommodates ten people - or they could seat us right away if they split up our party. Really? A restaurant that size only has two tables for larger parties. We finally got seated and our server knew we waited a long time, so she did her best to provide us with a positive experience, which was much appreciated. read more

Spent almost two painful hours at the Pueblo Red Lobster tonight. Not sure why service was so slow, because no one come out to explain why our mushroom appetizers took 45 minutes to come out. After almost 90 minutes showed up with no explanation on that either. I am very patient at restaurants, but I still believe some level of management should come out and give some weak excuse on why getting our meal took so long. On the way out we asked for a comment card, and none was available....we were told to go to the online R L page and see if there was a place for comments there. This was not the best experience we have had at red lobster. Pueblo West location. It took way too long to get our meal and when we ordered baked potatoes we received mashed potatoes! No explanation nothing! And to make matters worse the wait person called us guys!! REALLY?? There was only one "guy" at our table..this according to him was a serious mistake and affected her tip!!! We don't visit this restaurant often, but the food is usually great. No exception this time - the service was slow, and the lobster tails were overcooked on the grill. The lobster tails were replaced, but took a long time. The manager was very apologetic and seemed genuinely concerned. He compensated us for our inconvenience, which we definitely appreciated. They only reason they even get a 1 is because at least the staff was friendly and after the manager came by and asked how everything was (I told her it was terrible and why).... to her credit she offered to exchange it or credit my meal. I got the bar harbor bake....Over cooked, tasteless even after I requested a side of scampi butter....all the seafood was liliputian. WAY overpriced!! I ate here recently and I must say Captain D's beats Red Lobster by miles. While Red Lobster does have friendly staff that's somewhat attentive, some of their menu items have become rather tasteless and the prices are becoming increasingly ridiculous. We actually ground up our leftovers at home and fed it to our cats, they certainly approved of the meal more than we did. The only thing I absolutely enjoyed about the meal were their cheddar biscuits, they're delicious and always have been. But from now on, I'll go to Captain D's when I crave seafood. When you need more sauce, a drink re-fill or a to-go box, it's as simple as getting up and grabbing it; there is no waiting around for busy waitstaff to notice you frantically waving your hand. And better yet, you don't have to add a huge tip to an already overly inflated meal price. I used to love Red Lobster but honestly, after this last visit I think it's time to throw in the towel and move onto a place that has much better tasting food and prices. read more

This was supposed to be a good night out and a make up dinner for my moms belated birthday dinner. Though the choice was a poor one visiting this location. First of I want to say or waitress was very sweet and nice. She handled the situation very professionally and was apologetic. But the food sucked. The food was overcooked and talk about skimping on portions. I ordered the Boston lobster bake. The dish was suppose to come with lobster split tails, sausage, potatoes, and corn. The actual was three little slivers of sausage and four of the smallest pieces of lobster tail you have ever seen. All for the price of $24.99. Absolutely terrible. The wait staff tried to correct as best they could with the managers discretion but the management staff was not very accommodating. They offered a single dessert for our meals that took 45mins to get to us(there were 20 ppl in the restaurant) and the terrible meal. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and have driven in 48 states. I have eaten seafood in most of them and caught my own. I have had it on the boat and cooked on the shore.I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years as well. In addition to that I am currently working on writing a series of cookbooks. My sister owned and operated a first class bakery. I believe that if anyone is qualified to write a review on Red Lobster in Pueblo CO., I am. The service is normally excellent. Once in a while they have a new person on the job. Be polite and patient. YOU have been new too. The food is excellent as well. Only ONCE did I NOT have a perfect meal. NOBODY is perfect. For those of you who have not had a good experience,I recommend that you give them another chance. If you can do better,open your own and let me know how that works for you. I have had servers who have known me by first name,as I prefer, refer me to others when not there. Overall,Pueblo Red Lobster has EARNED a solid 5 from me. Going there tonight.
