Went to Red Lobster for a family meal on Labor Day. The place was practically empty, which should have given us a clue. Our first mistake was expecting fresh fish, they had none. Said the truck didn't come in. I was surprised since they specialize in fish and seafood. Next my daughter ordered a long island ice tea, it was so sour it tasted and looked more like a whiskey sour, we sent it back. Then came the food, soggy over saturated salads, both side and dinner. My husband and I ordered steak and scallops, big mistake. Steaks were dry and over seasoned (a peppercorn nightmare), and the side of asparagus was straw thin and burned and dry. Came here to pick up a to go order for my brother in law....there was no one to greet us at the door so we went to the bar to see where we pick up our order and the bartender Monipa G did not even acknowledge us for a good 5 minutes. Mind you there was one person sitting at the bar so she was clearly not even busy. When she did speak to us she had attitude. Listen these people choose their jobs so if you cant handle working with the public dont!! You do not represent the company you work for at all!! Our order was suppose to be ready at 2:45 PM and we are still sitting here .the bartender has disappeared this is a joke!!!! Still waiting for our order at 3:05pm we have now requested a manager. Everything was slow, the food was horrible. You bring out rolls to a family of four and we only get three... Com'n!!! My daughters meal... They forgot half the stuff. Salads came way to late. Not bad but not great either. Lobster is hit or miss, either it's over cooked and rubbery or its perfect. They were out of Tilapia fish for lunch how are you out of fish for lunch? The food may have been good but I wouldn't know. I couldn't get past the smell as soon as I walked in the door. They need to get rid of the rancid smelling rugs. This restaurant is awful. Bad smell, terrible shrimp, good service. I had a mediocre appetizer followed by inedible fried shrimp. My wife and I have been there several times and the food has generally been OK to good. On Easter I asked about the waitress about the fish and chips, and ordered it after being told it was Cod and that it could be picked up in the hand. What arrived was something coated with a shiny substance (as was my wife's steak), and when I tried to pick it up it fell apart like soggy bread. This was my first visit to this Red Lobster in over 10 years. I think it is a real treat to go there for a meal and in this case it was because my wife was buying! I took my mother and my wife for a early bird dinner. There is nothing quick about this Red Lobster. It is very laid back, so if you are in a hurry, forget about it. We were promptly greeted at the door and sat for at least 10 minutes before we were greeted by our server who's name was Jenn. She was outstanding through the entire experience. It is a very rare occasion for me to single out any server for their work but this gal was right on her job from the minute she hit the table. We started with a steaming hot and delicious basket of the biscuits. They are so good! The girls split a 1.5 lb lobster and had some steaming hot veggies with it. I hit them up for the chowder and followed that up with "The Ultimate Feast". Lobster tail, snow crab, shrimp done three different ways, rice, and the fresh veggie of the day. I ordered Shrimp Linquini Alfredo to go and I could not even eat it. The salt in it was so bad (and I love salt) after a couple of bites my tongue was numb. The service, for the most part, is great. The fish is pretty good, sometimes not as fresh as it should be. It always gets very busy right around dinner time (6-7pm). They do not take reservations but you can call ahead if you are on your way to the restaurant to reserve your spot on the waiting list. Their food is very customizable. read more

I have not gone to Red Lobster in many years. We were given a gift card for Christmas so we decided to go for dinner. My first impression when walking in the door was that they needed a reno. The carpet was dirty, the walls were dirty & it had a bit of a strange, musty smell. The hostess was very nice & seated us right away. The waitress was not in any hurry to please us. She took literally 15 minutes to bring our drink orders. Since we had $100 to spend I order a drink (which I rarely do) It was a Bahama Mamma which had literally no alcohol in it at all. For such an expensive drink it should have some. We order the sampler platter which had a hair in it. I ordered the Ultimate Feast which was anything but Ultimate. I am a seafood lover & I literally ate 3 bites. My husband had some spicy shrimp dish. He said it was ok. The food was so bad that we said we are never coming back. I decided to give the remaining balance of my gift card to a table seated behind us. We had about $20 left & thought we would just give away. Turns out the table we gave it to had just lost their father & tears filled her eyes because she was so touched we would give her the balance of our gift card on a day when she needed something good. I am happy we went simply because of how we made this womans day. They had not ordered yet & I felt after such a bad experience my real gift should have been to tell her to go some place else. Usually our go to birthday place. Staff was great and service was fast. It was early lunch and only 3 other tables. The quality of the food has gone down hill. The crab Alfredo was nothing but butter, grease and grossness. And that was putting it nicely. The manager did take off our appetizer- which also turned to stone after sitting for a few minutes. Poor quality control. I ordered the admirals feast. The shrimp was "off". It was overcooked and tasted very oily. The oil it was cooked in probably needed to be changed to. Yes I did tell my server. We waited quite a while for a table, though there were many free tables--maybe they were short on staff? The food was not very good--shrimp cocktail was dry and stale-tasting. The grilled haddock we ordered was undercooked, watery, and did not appear to have been grilled. The accompanying broccoli was hard and also undercooked. One of the sides we ordered never came--we filled up on the cheese biscuits and they were pretty good. On the way out we visited the restrooms (men's and women's) and found them especially dirty. I placed a to go order . It's Mother's Day okay I understand that but I got here and it wasn't that busy yet there were three people waiting with to go orders. They locked the door before 10 so we were waiting out there for 10 mins. Then they told me it would be half an hour when I ordered at 9:15. This location would not allow me to order over the phone, even though they have a pick-up window. I had to order in-person and wait 45 minutes for food to go. I was in a rush to get somewhere, so I did not open the food there (what a mistake). When I got home I realized that parts of my order were missing and the food was poorly packaged, butter had spilled over everything. When I contacted the manager to ask for a refund for what was missing, she seemed rushed and informed me there was nothing she could do. My daughter and son-in -law took me to the red lobster for my birthday on saturday 1-28-17. We met friends there for a total of six. We were greeted and served with very friendly people and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon with friends and family. We enjoyed our meal as usual and because we had mentioned that 3 of us were celebrating a birthday we had Happy Birthday sung to us and desserts were brought out with candles which was a nice gesture and because of this we left a nice tip-which was a little more than I normally would. After we left--we were looking at our bills. What a surprise!!! We were billed $1.00 for water--1st draft was $4.89 and the refills were $5.89. Not a "huge " deal but still not right. What bothered us was that we were charged for the 3 desserts that they brought out and that we had not ordered :(. The next day when my daughter called to find out why--she was told that they do not charge for water???? and that they must have ordered a diff size refill--NOT!! And that " someone" in our group ordered the desserts. And we should check with the rest of us hmmmmmm--no--we did not and never order desserts because we were totally full. Several groups that day were celebrating birthdays and maybe we were mixed up with someone else's group. The attitude was not very nice--we didn't try to get a free meal but just maybe an apology and I'm sorry. Needless to say--we WILL NOT be going back there. Let's just say RED LOBSTER IN GREECE has lost my business! My & mouth set on lobster lovers dream me & my bestie enter, sitter immediately. I excused myself after ordering my drink Sunset. When I entered the restroom I noticed a mountain of sealed towelets but i proceed to the stall. I came out & both soap dispenserso was totally empty. I stopped the first employee & requested hand soap for the ladies room. After 3 minutes I stopped another employee & made the same request. After 2 more minutes I walked to the host booth & made the same request. The host offered me a towelet- I declined & stated I want to wash my hands. I then walked to the takeout station/ employee station & made the same request. I asked the young lady well how do you wash your hands after using the restroom as an employee? She said oh we have lots of soap dispensers back here. I replied - so you leave the nasty bathroom & wash your hands where food is prepared & served? My brother and his wife visited from Florida and stayed at the Comfort in next door to the Red Lobster so we decided to eat dinner there. It was very quiet at around 6 so we had no problem getting a table for three. I can say our cocktails were the best part of our meal. I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo as did my sister-in-law. I've gotten bigger shrimp out of a can from the grocery store. The linquini was overload with cheese and the pasta literally stuck together. We assumed the water was going to bring back silverware but after putting foot on table he had to go get some. My brother ordered a steak med rare. It came out well done. He did say it was tender but he was not happy. We never got their so-called famous biscuits until we asked for them when dinner came. This was the worst experience at a restaurant that I can remember!! We are on the road for business and we eat out a lot. When we first went in, we were told it would be several minutes until a table was ready - the restaurant was less then half full! While we waiting several employees were gossiping at the desk and no one was worried about finding us a table or concerned that we could hear every word they were saying about another employee. While we waited we noticed a disgusting oder in the entrance. Once we finally got a table we asked to be moved. The booth they gave us was so narrow we were very uncomfortable. We ordered drinks and an free appetizer with a coupon. We order snow crab legs and everything went downhill from there. Mine came out right, but the waitress said she pushed the wrong button for my husbands order. They came out as king crab legs - she told him that they were only $6 more. We refused to pay more for something we did not order. She was able to charge us for snow crab after admitting to her manager what happened. Our sides were all wrong, at one point this waitress took the plate of crab legs in front of my husband and threw them away!! We asked for the manager and she apologized for the service. Then the waitress came over and threw our bill on the table and said - so - Am I fired yet!! We asked for the manager again and told here what happened. She took our check and when she returned she said she had removed the cost of my husbands dinner and the cost of the appetizer! We had a coupon for a FREE appetizer!!!
