It had been a while since we went here, so my daughter and I decided to come here after her dance recital. The wait was very long(close to an hour, as it always is when we come here). We were finally seated, and the waiter was friendly. I ordered the 4 course special they were having, for the price it was OK, but not great. It came with soup and salad(which was fine) but the entree was a little lacking and the dessert included the smallest brownie I have ever seen.. My daughter ordered a half portion of sea food and pasta. The waiter accidently put it in as a full portion, but did not charge us for it, which was a good thing. It was way more than she could eat(good for her) but honestly, I would think again before I chose a $15 special. Not worth it, go for the better things on the menu at regular price. read more

Ok, so I go to this location because I am craving lobster. Well we got seated right away which was good but it began to go down hill from that point on. It took the waiter a long time to come to the table to take the drink order and to get biscuits. I order the rock lobster tail and you smelled strong pungent odor when they were bring it to the table. In fact, it smelled so bad, people from other tables were commenting on how bad it smelled. They serve me the lobster tail and it has a strong ammonia smell. I got the attention of the waiter and sent it back. They gave me another rock lobster tail. This one was better but with every bite I am smelling the lobster before eating it. When I was about half way in I smelled the ammonia smell again. The waiter commented that in the kitchen while preparing the first tail, the staff commented that the lobster didn't smell good...SO WHY WOULD YOU SERVE IT!!!!! I usually like going to Red Lobster but I will never forget my last experience.... My family and i were the only people in the place and the service was slow and terrible. On our shrimp nachos we got butter instead of sour cream , my wife got a hair in her food and let's just say my stomach was not a fan of the low grade seafood served... Hopefully this does not go for all Red Lobsters otherwise bankruptcy is in their future. read more

Love seafood and so does my son. A bit pricey when just 2 people costs over $75.00 for a meal and one is a kids meal but the food is good and the waiter was really nice. We ordered extra lobster tails with our meals so that was the extra cost but we will be back. My son loved looking at the lobsters in the tanks before we were sat. It's a great Red Lobster and the service is good to great however, I was met with frustration when it came to the bill, since I was a little confused about the paying process for the bill. My waiter was nowhere in sight to help me with this misunderstanding to the point were I had to stand up and hunt down a worker to ask one simple question, Red Lobster could have done better then it had today, and it's all thanks to one servers who made one mistake from the whole time of good service. read more

Busy location but then again every red lobster is but we manage to get a table in about 15 mins. Are waiter was very friendly and very active with us and the rest of their table. Let me start off with our waiter and servicewas awesome but that is where the praise stops. Ordered Calamari and they changed it no longer crisp just soggy. Ordered Salmon New Orleans and it was way to spicy and over cooked. French Fries were cold. This was good for a chain restaurant and now it seems to hitting the bottom. read more

Extremely disappointed. It's been so long since I've been to a Red Lobster and I was really looking forward to dining here. Unfortunately tat didn't happen. I sat for 10 minutes at the table without even being greeted. Not even a glass of water was brought out. I finally just got up and left. There were 6 employees standing around at the host/hostess desk and not one of them bothered to ask why I was leaving or acknowledged me at all. Unbelievable! We had the worst dinner last night at red lobster off the expressway in Ronkonkoma. They must have a new terrible chef! The salad was extremely soggy wilted lettuce. The meal came with broccoli which was barely cooked. The rest of the meal was not the way it used to be! The waiter was ok! We won't be eating there ever again. My husband and I go here a lot- mainly for the biscuits :). Usually seated right away and wait staff are very attentive. Finding parking can be a real pain on the weekend. Crab legs are usually big juicy, been disappointed a few times but what ya going to do. Definitely the biscuits though!! read more

On hold for 23 minutes. No one can take a to go order expect for the bartender. 3 wait staff and the manager were standing up front when I came in. After walking across from the hotel. On hold the whole time They directed me to the bartender to take my order. I told them that I had already been on hold for 17 minutes and asked if they could take my order. they could not! Not even the manager. What manager won't help out the bartender and take a to go order??? Great customer service NEVER eat here. read more

So we are in the mood for seafood and instead of trying a new establishment (see my Popei's review), we relied on ole' Red Lobster. It's close by, we know what we're getting and we always have a coupon! We went on a Saturday evening around 8pm and there was a small wait for two people (10-15 minutes). The parking lot was full, but people were on their way out. It's nice to walk into a restaurant and see the same employees time after time. We were seated by the bar, which we don't mind, as we can watch the Yankee game! The waiter promptly came over and explained the special menu and took our drink order. I always have seltzer and my company has water. No appetizers because frankly, the fresh warm cheddar bay biscuits are good enough. I ordered the half portion of Parmesan Crusted Tilapia with a baked potato and broccoli. My company ordered the Chicken, Scallop & Shrimp with a baked potato and broccoli. Salads came with both. My salad was ok. I made the mistake of forgetting to ask for dressing on the side, because my salad was swimming in it. The tomatoes were kind of mealy, but otherwise it was just OK. The baked potato was good, the broccoli was mushy and the fish made everything all better! They bake or broil it to perfection and tasted so fresh. My company's broccoli also mushy, baked potato good and scallops & shrimp also good, but the chicken was rubbery. We did not order dessert and had a $10 off coupon, (yes you read correctly). The bill was $26 and change, plus a 20% tip. (Service was attentive and not overwhelming.) Even without the coupon, it is possible to get out of there with some money left in your pocket. How could you go wrong? The only down side to our seating was a few rowdy customers at the bar, but it didnt ruin out night! read more

When one visits a chain, one expects less quality and service than an individual proprietor. At this location, the food is the highlight. Restaurant staff were more interested in talking to each other than making sure water glasses were full or that every detail of the dining experience is being met. So apparently on Mondays it's all you can eat shrimp for $15, until 6 pm. Sounds like a great deal. So I call ahead to ask and make sure that we will be arriving at 5:40 if that would be to late to order the endless shrimp. The women on the phone said nope, as long as you're here before 6. Great! So we were sat at 5:40. We didn't get service until 6. The waiter asks what I wanted and I said endless shrimp, his response was no, it's before six. After explaining I called and we were sat before six he proceeds to tell me it's to late. I ask to speak to a manager after I also said it doesn't say on the advertisement you have to be served before six. and his response was a flat out no. So we end up ordering food that taste like garbage. Everything was cold and didn't taste right. I've never had a problem eating there before. But after the service and attitude I received and lack of professionalism I won't eat here again. read more

The wait was too long when there were clearly many available tables. Went to dinner around 4:30 to try and avoid any crowd/wait. There were 4 hostesses up front. None of which were very knowledgeable of much. When management spoke to them about the unnecessity of having 4 hostesses and only 2 would suffice they just stood there and continued not doing much. Then a server came and questioned why he wasn't getting tables when another server received 3 in a row. The hostesses again just stood there with blank stares. One hostess was biting and cleaning her nails. Another kept playing with her hair and another just stood there sipping her drink. Quite unsanitary in a restaurant establishment. Management was ok and tried to resolve the issue with no success. Hostesses just spoke about her and the others. Server was nice and attentive. read more

So happy that Endless shrimp came back until I got there an order it. First off the price gone up again. But the real shocker was when I received my orders. Well it about two tablespoons of rice. But when I saw the shrimp. I order the scampi and the 1st order only had 12 shrimps in and and there was very little sauce if any. I then order refills there was only five per order and they too had no sauce. Took way to long between refills as well. In the pass there was much more shrimp for 1st order and refiles. Do yourself a favor and don't bother ordering the endless shrimp save your money. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER, Know one place I maybe taking off my list to eat at. read more

My dinner was wonderful. We got unlimited biscuits. They are the best!!! My lobster was steamed perfectly. The service was very nice and we were seated very quickly. The place was very clean and neat. I will definitely come here whenever I can. I left so stuffed since the food was so good I didn't even eat breakfast or lunch the next day! And I never miss a meal! Also you have to try the shrimp scampi it is divine. The seafood stuffing is just to die for. All the utensils and crab crackers were shiny and clean. My father got the admirals feast and absolutely loved every component. Everything was very hot. For an appetizer I suggest the seafood stuffed mushrooms. read more

Had dinner with my family here last night. The food was good. We, as a family, rarely eat seafood, but decided last night to have some. Unfortunately the goodness of the food was completely ruined by the TERRIBLE service we were provided by Jeremy. After waiting 10 mins to be greeted we then waited another 10 mins for our drinks. When we were finally able to order our food both tables on either side of us, that were seated after us, we're already eating. Midway thru our meal my wife finally had to stop another server who was just walking by for a refill on her coke, because she was tired of waiting for Jeremy to check on us so she could get a refill and her food was now cold from waiting for something to drink with her meal. By the time we finally got and paid our bill we not once had a table visit by a manager and the two tables on either side of us were already resat and eating b4 we could leave. We will never go back to red lobster, despite how good the food was. Our nice family dinner out was completely ruined by having such terrible service and the manager was to busy chit chatting to check on the guests in the restaurant read more
