Love to come to Cedar Beach, today the dining was closed but the views never disappoint. The reason I really like this spot is that you don't have to get out of your car to enjoy the spectacular sun sets on these cold January days. The parking lot is inches from the beach.

Stopped in for a quick drink, ordered a coconut mojito and it was pretty good. The service was great, bartender was nice and recommended some food and drinks on the menu. We ordered a side of fries and enjoyed our drinks on the beach. Live band was setting up, but we were heading out by then. It's a great casual place for a drink and some bar food on the beach. Unfortunately the clouds were out, but we'll come back on a nice sunny day!

    Yummy !

I loved that this place is located right on the beach . The outdoor seating is great. The waitress was very nice. Can't remember her name . The food was delicious and drinks were on point!

WOW 10 stars! It's 90 degrees and are server Olivia is giving us her all. The baked clams are the best I've ever had, fresh, and most importantly SAND-FREE. The drinks are ICE cold and generously poured. A MUST STOP SPOT on Long Island! Ps. It gets busy be patient. Pps. Order you own clams.

Gorgeous views, Great drinks and the sweetest bartenders! I came here on a week day with my boyfriend and we both enjoyed the food. The bartenders were attentive, friendly and helpful.

Location location. Stunning sunset, laid back cool older crowd with live music. Drinks are super sweet, skip the premade frozen crap. Food is good- baked clams are terrific, mussels were big and perfectly cooked. Wings were so so, lobster roll way too much mayo. Clam chowder delicious. On the water prices for hit & miss food. Waiter was adorable but non existent, and other waiters do not clear your table, we sat with dirty plates for 30 minutes. Cute place, would come again.

Eat Unique Indeed…read more We were famished for something brunchy this past Sunday, and were looking at different places to go to. Went to the Watermark, parking lot was inaccessible, seems people don't know how to park over there. Even the street spaces were full. We headed further west, Flying Pig was closed down, we had been to Crazy Beans, then a quick Google search pulled up a spot we'd never heard of before. Pulled up to a strip mall where BlackSheep was located, nice big parking lot as expected. Walked in, and we were the first ones there. The place smelled fantastic. We sat ourselves and perused the menu. The server came by and enumerated the specials, but I was fixated on Braise your Belly. We also got me-mah's mac and cheese, and started off with the Roasted Garlic Northern Bean Dip and the Minestrone soup. The Bean Dip starter was fantastic. All the little things you need for a perfect bite. A scoop of bean dip on a toasted pita wedge, stick a couple of kalamata olives on the bean dip mortar (3 olives were too much), add pickled red onion and fire-roasted peppers, then top with crumbled feta. Amazing bite. I had a taste of the Minestrone, and it was excellent. Flavors were all there without being overdone. The pasta was nice and cooked just right. The mac and cheese was perfect. I couldn't put my finger on the cheeses used, but it all came together nicely. You didn't just get a mouthful of one cheese flavor. It was creamy, balanced, and the crispy onions on top made it really nice. and the stunner. I am a big fan of pork belly, and this really piqued my interest. Served with lemongrass grits and pickled veg with a soy miso glaze. The pickled veg was tossed in a bed of leafy greens, and I saw some seaweed salad in there as well. A little bite of the grits topped with the salad was amazing. I've never had that combo before. A little tart, a little salty, nice umami, I could have eaten a bowl of just that. However, when the pork belly came into play, everything changed. The crisped, lightly charred crust on the fatty slices of nirvana by themselves were perfect. Cut a piece of it and lay it on the grits-salad bite, and you can feel your eyes roll backwards. I wanted to, and almost ate it all, but I left a slice for my girlfriend and topped off her little bit of mac and cheese that she wanted to take home. Half an hour in, and the place pretty much packed out for a bit while they were doing a healthy amount of takeout/pickup orders. The place is pretty simple: interesting Black Sheep art, with mostly little tables, plasticware, and a drinks cooler. The food can certainly be right at home in a fancier and upscale setting, but doesn't need it. They had one server, and she was delightful and attentive to everyone. The chef came around and asked how everything was, which I find is always a nice touch. Definitely coming back.

Could not complain about the service as the owner was cooking and serving this day. Very friendly. Here's a guy who is really enjoying what he does. Takes pride in his food. First and foremost the minute you walk in, your kinda taken back in time with the Johnny Cash pictures and other 1950's and 60's. The music playin also transports you back there! The menu has everything yet not over exhaustive...burgers, chicken sandwiches down to a Philly cheesesteak. The front counter employee was super friendly and helpful and I think he may double as a cook as well. Anyway, my family and I ordered the Big Stack...Two All Beef Patties, Special Sauce, Lettuce, Cheese, Pickles & Onions on a Toasted Potato Roll. This burger was ON POINT!! Perfectly cooked and exactly as described. My wife had the Foghorn Leghorn, Handmade Southern Fried Chicken Breast, on a Martin's Potato Roll Topped with Lettuce and Mayo, which was delicious. The fries were excellent and the onion rings with the dipping sauce were amazing! I would have probably passed this place by if not given a heads up! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend stopping by if your in the area and even make a trip over if your not, it's that worth it!! T

It seems to be run by high school teenagers with no real management on duty. The decorations by the sitting/eating area had dust chains hanging and the ketchup bottles tops were encrusted with old ketchup. If this place was in the city, it would have received an F rating. We both ordered the Hag which sounded appealing except for the fact both came out raw on the inside. Let's face it, if burgers are what you are known for, then you should learn how to cook them. Very disappointing. First and last for us.

We were seated immediately and served chips & salsa. The salsa was excellent with just enough of a spice kick. For appetizers, we ordered the garlic shrimp and beef Empanadas. The shrimp were served in a hot cast iron skillet in a sauce similar to francese with a cross of oreganata - amazing flavor!!! The empanadas were large, crispy and over stuffed with meat and cheese - excellent! My husband had the steak/chicken/shrimp Fajitas Combo, also served in a hot cast iron skillet. He enjoyed it very much. So much flavor and the meat was very tender. He even at the sautéed peppers and onions, which he never does. I ordered the steak bowl. My steak was perfectly medium rare and very tender. It was a decent portion size, enough for leftovers. Our server was so sweet and helpful, as was the table runner. Service was great. We will definitely be back.
