We went to this location on 9/16/2018 for all you can eat shrimp. Our server was Angie and she was fantastic !!!! The first plates were a little slow coming out but every shrimp refill after was brought pretty quickly, our drinks were refilled fast and she never left the table without asking what else we wanted to order. The only sad part was that she only brought 3 biscuits to our table and never brought more. I have been to 2 or 3 other locations but this was the best service I've ever had and I will definitely be going back to Roseville in the future, thanks for the great dinner Angie !! read more

red lobster in maple grove not so good - in may 2024 we spent a birthday party here and in the potoates more tehn one of us found a fruti fly or somrthign movien walking around in the mashed potaioes and it was so gross and freaky, teh waiter and amnager thought it was bad and gave us all a gift card to return we do not want too . they didnt make us pay for the food very well handled but we took the gift cards adn toss them out and will never return to this red lobster again. i have lover red lobster all my life and go three four timea year with friends and family for over 20 years and it was always great up till recently. i feel if bugs are in food should say.in fact i do not ever even want to go out to dinner again. the past few times a worm and over charged they can miss me alot because i always tip and care, no of us me and freidns want to dine out any more tis gotten so bad unclean ruthless mean nasty waiters and companys . very gross . keep an a watch on every thign food bills. ever since covid things have just gone so down hill that you can't even enjoy a night out with clean good people . stay home ahve a barbi. read more

It's too bad when all the food comes out hot and delicious but the service just can't keep up! Our waitress was indifferent and took forever with our food! The dinner we ordered was very good though! This is a seafood place for people who don't eat seafood. If your idea of cooking is meat, potatoes, salt and pepper, than this place will be a culinary dream come true. If you have more of a refined palate then you'll be like "What the hell did they do to this great fish?" It'll be a letdown. You may have a moment of silence for the wasted fish. One thing that these places are good for is the "all the shrimp/crab/whatever you can stuff into your fat gullet" events. If you want to come by with friends and spend two hours eating all of the shrimp you can, then great. If that's not your style, or if this kind of promotion isn't no at the time, you can do better. read more

Just finished eating lunch and the service was so horrible for the first time in my life I left without paying the server a tip (other than the 32 cents of change left over). First off our server Susan P, asked if we wanted to start off with any wine (we were with a minor and it was 11:55am). We politely declined and asked for water instead of which she needed to clarify again even though I replied in perfect English. (This foreshadowed a lot of our communication errors with Susan P) Then when we ordered she told us we couldn't have the lunch specials since they were Mon-Fri only and the I had to remind her that it was Friday. Then when we ordered the salad, she asked what "type of salad" we wanted. I had to clarify if there were other types of salad and she eye rolled asking what type of dressing we wanted. She asked what type of salad (field green, romaine, etc), so our clarification didn't justify her eye roll. Then when we placed an obviously empty biscuit basket at the end of our table she ignored it and we asked for more biscuits. It took an additional reminder for the biscuits and an inordinate amount of time to receive the basket. I saw other baskets coming out to other tables so a shortage of biscuits didn't seem to be an issue. We also asked for a to go box from Susan P and she didn't come back for one. After a long time, I asked another server who handed me one from 10 feet away from our table. She also gave the table next to us far more consideration and was far friendlier to them even though we had been friendly and smiley throughout the obvious lack of attention our table received. She even gave the table next to us a slip to write a review of her service. She conveniently did not give us one. I always treat servers with respect and a friendly demeanor so I don't think we gave her any weird vibes. It was so odd to receive such vastly different service than an adjacent table. She chatted with the other table, was friendly to them, and gave them far more consideration. I don't expect servers to be chatty, but to do his/her minimum job expectations is all I would expect (no bread basket and ignored to go box request). It wasn't even busy so that cannot be an form of excuse. I've never left a server tip-less until today and I hope I made my dissatisfaction apparent at the end. Red Lobster - Obviously empty bread basket. - Seafood Near Me - Roseville, Minnesota

First warning was when I came in the door and the whole place stank of fish. A tank of desultory lobsters burbled in the lobby, and you could almost hear the lobsters thinking "okay, you got us, but please take us to some other restaurant to be served". I had the Broiled Seafood Trio - "Garlic shrimp scampi, fresh tilapia and crab-and-seafood-stuffed shrimp." The tilapia was flavorless (which really, all tilapia is) and dry. The scampi was not awful, though the shrimp were VERY tiny, and it was extremely salty. The stuffed shrimp were cold, and tasted off. Made me wonder what the "seafood" component was. brr The cheese biscuits were tasty, but really not worth the almost $30 I paid for my dinner. It's no wonder Red Lobster is struggling to stay afloat. I'd suggest heading back to Snelling, driving North and going to Joe's Crab Shack if you feel the need for great shellfish and fish. Joe's is not a Michelin place either, but at least it smells clean when you walk in the door, and they have figured out how to communicate to their cooks how to prepare seafood. I would categorize my last RL outing in 2 phases: the first half was a 1 star; the second half a 5. So, 3 is what they'll get from me, and I'll be to elaborate: The first half was a disaster. We- and they're only two of us- order right away. No need to waste time. It's 12:30pm and I haven't eaten yet. So of course the salad comes 20 minutes later, sans silverware. Then another 20 minutes goes by when we see the waitress again and she asks us how our meal is going. There is no meal. Oops, there must be some kind of mixup- someone was supposed to bring us food. Then, about 10 minutes later when food finally makes an appearance, a second server attempts to bring us the wrong food. So that food makes it's was elsewhere and... see a trend starting here? A third server brings us- after several more minutes of waiting... THE WRONG FUCKING FOOD. Yes, I've been there for close to an hour and all I've had was a premixed salad and a goddamn glass of water. It's a Sunday afternoon. It's not even busy. The original server says she'll get the manager, which we didn't even ask for, but ok. So a manager comes with food. If you're keeping count, that's the 3rd food attempt. And this is what I was delivered: half of my shrimp order, and it was cold. They gave me some other shrimp on the plate that I didn't order just to keep the plate full while I still have to wait on the other half my order. So now, when the other half of my actual order finally does make its way to my table it's delivered from someone from the kitchen, who asks if we want a refill on anything. This is the 5th person we were "services" by, by the way, and I finally express my dissatisfaction, which is the turning point in my meal attempt. Finally, redemption. The man, a kitchen manager I presume, returns with 3x more food than we ask for, all of it hot, and says he's taking care of the bill. That was great news, because as pissed as I was it didn't matter if the food was good or not. You put me in a shitty mood with shitty service and my meal is ruined. So at least they have the damage control part down. Now taking the service out of the equation and focusing on the food... meh. It's ok. Quite honestly it's not any better quality than buffet food. It's biscuits, salad, boiled in greasy sides (I opted for broccoli instead) and the same cookie cutter recipes, none of which I couldn't have made myself nor take much imagination. Its glorified deli food with a fancier ambiance and less selection. I guess you could say that even though I'm at a chain restaurant I still want the illusion that I'm having something somewhat unique and not just another packaged conveyer belt, shipped from a warehouse to a corporate kitchen to my plate kind of vibe. I have been to this red lobster several times and haven't had any bad experiences here at all, however we ordered the Langostino Lobster Artichoke and Seafood Dip for an appetizer, we also ordered drinks, I had the berry mango daiquiri, and my girlfriend ordered a blackberry amaretto sour. We then ordered for our main entrées I ordered the seaside shrimp trio and my girlfriend ordered the create your own combo with shrimp linguine, and garlic shrimp. Everything was really good however I was a little disappointed that the asparagus that I paid for as a substitution for the broccoli that normally comes with the trio was not cook long enough, it was crunchy. They did take it off of my bill, and the manager was very nice, I didn't catch her name but she came by to check on us twice which was much appreciated. Got a gift card for Red Lobster for Mother's day. Tried to order online - online did not provide anywhere to enter a gift card (Great scam Red Lobster - sell gift cards, but don't let people use them!) Tried to call the restaurant "manager" - they don't answer the phone. Tried to order on the phone, they won't let you. Went back to online and said I'd go in to store to pay so I could use the gift card "Online ordering isn't available". I bet it would have been when I started trying to order at 4:30. Most of you who know me know that it would be very out of character for me to step foot in this place. But circumstances brought me to this Roseville location. I had breakfast with Bruce at Maria's at ten. So we're talking the huge ass corn pancake. I picked my husband up from a church service and he had an errand in Roseville, it was a fast day so he wanted fish. I didn't know what to get, so I just looked for the cheapest thing. A fish sandwich $6.99. It's 1:00 and I'm still kind of full. I take a bite and sonofabitch if that wasn't one of the crunchiest, best fish frys I've ever tasted. It's topped with cheese, didn't need it. A delicious tartar sauce. If I wasn't gobbling it down, I would have fallen off my chair that I got fish this good here. I find out after it's pollack, another shock. My only complaint is it's topped with romaine leaves, rather than just a leaf. I called the manager over to tell her about this and to give feedback not to take it off the menu. I always notify management equally for a great experience as well as a bad one.Great cheese biscuits, but you need to ask for butter. Came in for Endless Shrimp--one of our favorite promotions of the year! We placed our names on the list from the website, which is a great feature! Upon arriving, we still had to wait an additional 15 minutes, but it was busy, so we understood. Eventually, we got sat at a small booth in the bar area. Our server was nice, but you could tell she was overwhelmed by the hecticness in the bar area. There were at least two times where she didn't write down the refills we wanted, to which she had to come back and double check that "everything we ordered was there." This normally wouldn't bother me, except for the fact the wrong shrimp was delivered to me (i.e. fried shrimp) and I never got the correct shrimp (i.e. new Fiesta shrimp). As far as the food went, I loved the Fiesta, coconut, and scampi shrimp most. Overall, our experience was okay, but I felt we were limited in our service, and I wish our server was more attentive (e.g. wrote things down compared to trying to memorize it). read more

Our salads and entrees came at the same time, and the manager on duty noticed. She apologized immediately, then promised each of us (3) our own dessert, free of charge! My husband and I both got food poisoning after eating here last night. I was up half the night violently ill and while my husband did not vomit, he is feeling extremely sick today. We called the restaurant to alert them and were told that food poisoning typically does not onset until 12 hours after eating the contaminated food, which is not true. The person that my husband spoke with did say he was sorry that we were feeling ill, but apparently they have to run our complaint through insurance before taking any action. I hope they are able to some how compensate us for the trouble, but obviously it would have been preferred for us to have not gotten sick in the first place. I'm writing this review as a warning to other potential patrons. When looking for a restaurant, you may consider going somewhere else. UPDATE: my husband got extremely sick about 18 hours after we ate here and even debating going to the ER! He doesn't recall ever being that ill! read more

Curb side pickup was prompt and there were shrimp in the order but that was about the only positive thugs I could say. We ordered two wood-grilled shrimp over rice. When the order was delivered, we noticed there were no napkins or utensils (also noted on the attached bill that they had to be request separately). Called back to request and napkins and utensils. However noticed that the recording indicated we had ordered garlic grilled shrimp. We had previously noticed theses are two separate menu items when we were ordering. An employee came on the line. We requested the napkins and utensils. Then indicated the order concern regarding the shrimp. The individual indicated they were the same item. We pointed out to him that not only were they different menu items but different price points. We said that we could not wait for the order to be remade and just needed the napkins and utensils. He indicated that he understood and offered to bring them to the car plus a $10 gift card which we accepted. He delivered the napkins and utensils but no gift card. Impromptu dinner choice. Ate in bar. Fruit flies around the bar area. Tiffany was our server. Nice, friendly but overwhelmed. Our dishes and empty glasses piled up after each course. Regardless of our nicely stacking the side dishes and salad bowls, Tiffany would not remove them from our table. She checked with us once and then was absent until it was time to ask about dessert. I made a suggestion to my friends that we go to red lobster and it was the worst mistake of my life. I haven't been to red lobster in about 5 years and I remember it being a very nice restaurant with amazing busquits. I went with my two friends and when we entered it looked like a old dingy restaurant and it smelled so bad! They need to renovate the whole restaurant. Anyways so of course we got a horrible server who wouldn't even help us with the menu. After ordering ours drinks the soda didn't even taste right! It was watery and had no taste so I requested the piña colada and that was a disappointment as well! Okay now to the food we ordered the fried platter with shrimp and scallop and flounder and a side of corn and mashed potatoes! The mashed potatoes were HONESTLY GROSS! Literally no seasoning just looked so dry! It looked like vomit if I'm being honest! Everything that was fried was left in the frier too long and it just looked like a oily mess! The waiter never brought us busquits until we had to ask for it! Oh yeah and me and my friend felt super sick after! The waiter was sooooo bad and the service was horrible! Do Not Go Here!! Terrible Service, staff not getting along, and food came luke warm at best! I have been to many Reb Lobsters and this was the first and last time I will ever go to the Roseville Location. Waiter "Christopher" was too busy looking for another smoke break and most of the time didn't have any service at all because he was no where in the building! The bar tender and a waitress was arguing in fron of the customers. We had to ask for biscuits because they were never offered to us and when we did ask him, he blew us off and 20 minutes later I had to ask another waitress to get them for us. When our lobster fest meals came , our lobster was mushy and luke warm at best.We had to ask for our melted butter that should have been on our plates, then had to wait another 5 minutes till that arrived. When the waiter gave me our bill it wasn't more then a minute and came back to get paid. I looked at him like????? I have not even had a chance to look at it! I can see why he was in a hurry!!.... When we left he was in the parking lot having another smoke. I brought 5 guest with me, bill was $230. I normally leave a 15 - 20% tips. This place got no tips and I really should have not paid the bill at all! I live in Buffalo and normally go to St.Cloud or New Hope Red Lobster and have always had great food and service. Our server was good; however the food was mediocre. I ordered the lunch Sailor's platter with the side of rise pilaf the veggie never arrived. The garlic shrimp and hand-breaded shrimp were piping hot which was fantastic. HOWEVER, the whitefish on the platter was barely warm and the rice pilaf tasted old and was barely warm. I learned a long time ago after watching a video tape of a cook/chef spitting on food that had been sent back then serving it to the customer. I have never sent food back to a kitchen since that time. I ate the food because I was in a hurry and hungry; but would not recommend anyone going to this Red Lobster if this same cook is serving the food, whoever plated the food did not time the food correctly so that all hot food was served hot. read more

A party of four went to Red Lobster Sunday after church arriving around 1:15 p.m. We waited about 13 minutes to be seated which wasn't bad considering it was Sunday and very busy. We asked for a booth and were seated at a booth. We were given menus right away and told our server would be with us. About 5 minutes later our server arrived and asked for drinks. We all wanted water which was brought to us and then we waited another 10 minutes at least before she returned to take our orders - and the orders were straight from the menu with no special directions or requests. It was busy but not more than 75% full at the time we arrived yet our orders took over 30 minutes before they came to the table - which means we are finally eating at 2:15 p.m. one full hour after arrival at the restaurant. Our waitress never showed up during the 30 minutes to give us any update on the status of our meals. When she did arrive with the food she told us that the rice pilaf was being cooked and would be brought to the table in 4 minutes. We ordered parmesan crusted tilapia, shrimp scampi, lobster tacos and another parmesan crusted tilapia that all entrees were very good. still no rice pilaf. We finished our meals at which point the rice pilaf showed up and the waitress apologized for the delay. The waitress was very average. She asked if we were celebrating any special event and we mentioned a wedding anniversary. We thought we might get a complimentary drink on the house but she told us that we could take home our drink glasses if we ordered an expensive drink - not exactly the complimentary idea we had in mind. The food was good but the chef must have screwed up as there was not enough pilaf and he clearly had to make some from scratch. It took 45 minutes from the initial order until the rice pilaf was brought to our table. This restaurant is close to our home so easy for us to patronize. However, I can not give any more stars due to excessively long wait for our food and the lackadaisical server (though the people doing the greeting/seating were professional and friendly). read more

We love to go here but I must say that the service varies from restaurant to restaurant.The one in roseville was closer to us but we were very disappointed with their service .After all we spent ,I was thinking about it the next day and decided to call the restaurant and tell the manager that our experience wasnt the best .When they answered the phone and found out I was calling to see speak to the manager they made me hold forever.I was persistent though and kept holding.Finally ,he came on the phone and I started to explain our experience to him and went on to say that we didnt want anything in return but that we frequent the place so often that we would like them to know we didnt enjoy the service- having to ask for drink refills and extra cutlery(the kids dropped it on the floor) or even for more biscuits.He wasnt phased at all and asked me what he expected me to do instead of thanking him for letting him know.Nedlees to say we never go to that one but the one in Maplewood where there is a world of diffrence. read more
