Food 5/5: I got the grandmas house latte and an everything bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese. The latte was well blended and overall very smooth. The bagel was very flavor full and I really liked the flavor combo between the bagel and cream cheese. Service 5/5: overall the staff was efficient and friendly Ambiance 5/5: the vaulted ceilings yet cozy aesthetic makes this place very visually pleasing. We came here on a random sunny weekday in April and absolutely loved the vibes here! It was open, clean and large! You certainly could do a group meeting/study session here! The service was wonderful! Everyone was so nice! When my boyfriend tried his drink, it just didn't taste right (iced vanilla latte with 4 shots of espresso) They remade it and were very apologetic! The drinks: I got an iced grandmas house with oat milk! There is no up charge for oatmilk! My wallet and stomach appreciated that! The flavor was really good! Unfortunately even with the remake, there seemed to be something off about my boyfriend's drink... I asked for them to take the vanilla out, thinking maybe be it was the syrup. This coffee shop is amazing. Huge space. Bright and basically all windows. Plants everywhere. Great coffee. Lattes are not too sweet - which is great. They have the best brand of tea (Spirit). Coffee shops are more and more just built for isolation and to-go orders. This place is built for community. And I love how blatantly Christian it is. So many open bibles at the tables. We stopped by Happy Monday prior to heading on a hike and it was the perfect way to start our day! I love how the big windows offer bright sunny natural light. There is an abundance of tables and lounge areas throughout the space. We got bagels from St Paul Bagelry, and they also have pastries available. We ordered a vanilla latte and Grandma's House latte. As mentioned by other people the Grandma Latte drink is actually $7 dollars rather than the $6 that they advertise on their menus. It's a bit frustrating due to their menus being shown on the wall and while waiting in line are not the full menu until you reach the front counter. I wasn't sure if they still carried bagels until I reached the front to order. The place is huge on the inside but SUPER loud. I did come on a weekend so there were a lot of people meeting up with their friends but I did see a couple of people that actually had their laptops and "working". It looked like there were extension cords so that you could charge a device if sitting at one of the large tables. There are also small stools towards the entrance where the motorcycle is if you're not able to find normal sized seating because my friends and I were originally just going to grab those to sit around the small coffee tables in front of the sofa. ~~Parking: There's plenty of parking because it appears to be located at a place that's similar to an office building. ~~Service: Good. There were no napkins available in the dispenser but they were able to add more upon asking. ~~Worst Part: Price (misleading from the menu/they didn't mention that they charge $1 for iced versions of a beverage) & the noise. Stopped by this coffee shop around 1:00pm for a work meetup, and before I even stepped inside, I did a little happy dance because they have a parking lot! Total win already. It was a busy day when we arrived, with lots of people filling the spacious seating area, but luckily we were able to snag a table and settle in to get some much needed work done. The line moved at a decent pace, and once we got to the counter, we were greeted by a friendly barista who patiently answered our questions. I ordered an iced Grandma's House (one of their signature drinks) and my friend got the iced peppermint herbal tea. Later, we both grabbed second drinks -- I went with an iced matcha latte, and my friend got something else (can't remember what, oops!). The drinks were pretty good overall. I enjoyed Grandma's House. It was creamy and flavorful but I personally would have liked a bit more of that strong coffee kick. Maybe just a heavy pour of milk that day. The peppermint tea was light, refreshing, and perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up. One suggestion: I wish they had the full menu posted on the wall. The decor is spot-on--very modern and inviting. I stopped by for a trial run and ordered my tester drink: a cortado. It was creamy, strong, and the perfect portion. I requested a pump of butterscotch flavor, and I'm so glad I did; it completely set the drink off! The only con (which is a massive pro for the business) is that it gets incredibly busy! Also been on a Saturday afternoon and it was also really busy. Pretty loud as well. They have a menu up at the cashier (like laid on the counterotherwise a smaller one where the line forms, which makes it a bit hard to figure out what you want before you approach, unless you want basic coffee/drinks. I like that they offer seasonal drinks, it gives me something new to look forward to besides getting regular matcha or something. I tried various about 4 different season drinks on multiple visits and they've been really good. Parking is easy (expect maybe during church service) but there's a large lot. read more

After stopping for breakfast nearby, found Happy Monday on a coffee search. What a fantastic place! First, the space is expansive, but cozy. There are sofas and comfy chairs everywhere. We were greeted warmly and when saying we werw first timers, were given several suggestions. Hubs had the Grandma's House, which had cardamom and maple. I snabbed a sip and it was quite good. I tried the pina colada summer special and would definitely get it again. The day we were there, they were doing a breakfast pop-up as well. What a great place! First of all it had a huge space to hang out and do some work. Staff were super super friendly and they have a great selection of pastries and of course I had to get my matcha drink iced as for some reason it's September and it was very hot outside. The place is super inviting and is filled with tons of natural light. There is a pretty huge parking lot which made it super accesible. I look forward to coming here and having coffee dates with friends. I stopped by this new coffee shop (opened a week or so ago) today and was easily pleased! This is a really nicely sized place with numerous types of seating. That being said, it was bopping by 10 am. Despite that, I got two drinks (iced chai and mocha -- both delicious) and two bagels (also equally delicious and from the amazing Mogi Bagels) in less than 5 minutes! I was very impressed with the quality and speed of Happy Monday Company. Everyone working there was super nice as well. I visited the Happy Monday with my sister and we had a wonderful time. They have lots of different coffee drinks plus pastries from Patisserie 46, donuts from Cardigan and bagels and cream cheese from The St Paul Bagelry. The service was quick and easy and I enjoyed my "grandma's house" iced coffee and it was one of my favorite iced coffees I have ever had. My sister tried a new spring drink Sunny Spritz and she really liked it. They have a lot of tables plus couches and chairs to relax on and also have doors they open when it's nice outside to left fresh air in. In a building large enough to be a storage facility Happy Monday is actually a friendly warm spirited place with plenty of comfy seating. Not a bunch of used furniture but actually new chairs and couches and Scandehouvian style tables. **A slight digression now: Using 'Monday' seems to fit a vibe, stereotyped as it is of overcoming the blight of the weeks start. This shop is far better than the other 'Monday' I tried once. (See review for Goodbye Blue Monday). There had to be at least 60 patrons including a family playing with their kiddos on the carpeted floor. The music is soft and there wasn't a lot of noise considering the crowd. Most people had their noses in their laptop or were reading great novels from actual non-electronic books. It's bright from natural lighting and friendly helpful baristas. Along with the medium roast with a shot of oat milk I tried the Elan pastry because I saw a lemon meringue center and thick flaky toasty crust. It appears they make their own or have someone bake from their exclusive recipes. The treat is placed in a metal dish with higher sides so the pricey morsel doesn't fly off when walking, which is something that happened to me at a place in St Paul. There are other items on the menu including a line of pizzas. Coffee prices are in line with other shops and food items a little more pricey than say the chains. I will mention here I do believe I was the only person over 25, ah way over, but that didn't matter except when entering three young ladies, as very young but over 18 were leaving and held the door for me, as I entered I heard a giggle a sort of 'what's he doing here' approach. Look for the large off white building in the quieter part of Cleveland Avenue with a large parking lot in front. It's not the storage facility, that's a block up on the corner. read more

Cavernous space that uses some modern coffee shop design cues that echo (echo echo) in the scaled-up space that might do better selling furniture or a suburban restaurant. The fact that it only has a bathroom for one person at a time, shared with office suite, reflects the building's mismatch. Totally has the "coffee shop owned by a mega church" look, but the church only owns the building they lease. Good selections of pasties -- including the Cardigan donuts you can get at FRGMNT (better coffee). The menu of coffee is simple and, although they stopped doing pour overs, has flash brew and other options that show thought. Ample parking in this suburban desolation. Service is pleasant but nothing notable. All in all, if you're stuck in the Roseville region this is a good spot for coffee in an area with few serious options. read more

The best thing about this coffee shop is that they make their own syrups. Some downfalls for me is having to ask for a key to use the restroom and how loud it got when every seat was taken. It was also quite expensive (7.50 for a basic iced vanilla latte) which makes it tough to tip because then my coffee would be 8.50... not with it IMO. I base good coffee on how well they make an iced vanilla latte and it wasn't my favorite.. just tasted like milk and not sweet enough. read more

Was soooo excited to finally have a non-chain coffee shop in the Roseville area.... Location: just what this area needed: a big coffee shop with plenty of parking but the square footage doesn't make up for how hard it is to find a table in this place! I had to come back after my first attempt in order to wait for someone to leave and snag their table...it really built my expectations....this many people love this place already?!? So I came back and ordered drinks on the 2nd and 3rd attempts to visit. I tried the drinks of the people I was with too...we were all underwhelmed. We thought maybe the barista messed up a drink until we took a sip of the other's but they all tasted off and were made by different workers. Just didn't like the drinks: an iced vanilla latte (my go to everywhere), an overpriced americano, and the "hug in a mug" special: all expensive drinks, none of which could be finished. Woah! Incredible space. It almost feels like the location was previously a car dealership and maybe it was? Giant parking lot, massive interior, vaulted ceilings, huge garage door style doors, packed house on a Monday (coincidence or not), plethora of drink options and flavors, friendly staff, pottery and cards for sale, a few pastries such as donuts and croissants and an overall enjoyable experience. It appears most tables have outlets for computer work and most of the drinks ordered to stay in house are served in a cute mug on a dish with a side of water (at least the cappuccino is). Enjoy! Happy Monday is a really fun coffee spot. I seem to be the only person who hasn't heard of this place because when I showed up it was packed. Lots of seating, lots of people chatting, working on computers, hanging with friends. It did seem to be a more lively atmosphere and most people there seemed to be pretty young. Although people were doing some work/school on computers this seems like more of a fun place to hangout than to get work done. The place is very large so although it was busy it was not cramped. The coffee was great. I ordered a honey latte and it was good. Im kind of boring with my coffee orders but they did a nice job, no complaints. The menu seemed limited but for your normal late/espresso drinks I think you could get anything you would at any other coffee place. We didn't get any food but I don't think this is a place you'd get breakfast at, this is a place you come with friends to grab coffee and chat for a little while. Staff were friendly and they moved through the long line pretty quick. All around it was a fun experience and good coffee. You should check it out and I will definitely be back. read more

I've been four times and unfortunately two of the times I've been there it was so busy there was nowhere to sit so I ended up leaving with my coffee. They're always seems to be fairly large groups so if you can get a spot in their spacious area, I would recommend it. I think the church that owns the building creates a lot of the demand. Nice to have a nearby option that isn't a chain. read more
