    Line to order
    Melissa C.

Happy Monday is such a bright open space and our drinks were delicious but the line was so long on a Saturday late morning. The staff were so incredibly nice and they went as fast as they could! Would come back to try on a less busy day as we struggled to find a seat even though there are so many seating options available! There are plenty of parking options available in the attached lot. I really enjoyed my specialty drink and I would love to try one of their sandwiches next time!

Stopped by this coffee shop around 1:00pm for a work meetup, and before I even stepped inside, I did a little happy dance because they have a parking lot! Total win already. It was a busy day when we arrived, with lots of people filling the spacious seating area, but luckily we were able to snag a table and settle in to get some much needed work done. The line moved at a decent pace, and once we got to the counter, we were greeted by a friendly barista who patiently answered our questions. I ordered an iced Grandma's House (one of their signature drinks) and my friend got the iced peppermint herbal tea. Later, we both grabbed second drinks -- I went with an iced matcha latte, and my friend got something else (can't remember what, oops!). The drinks were pretty good overall. I enjoyed Grandma's House. It was creamy and flavorful but I personally would have liked a bit more of that strong coffee kick. Maybe just a heavy pour of milk that day. The peppermint tea was light, refreshing, and perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up. One suggestion: I wish they had the full menu posted on the wall. It would help customers feel less rushed when ordering, especially when there's a line behind you. Good vibe, nice staff, and solid drinks. I'm sure I'll be back someday and I'll probably try something new next time!

We stopped by Happy Monday prior to heading on a hike and it was the perfect way to start our day! I love how the big windows offer bright sunny natural light. There is an abundance of tables and lounge areas throughout the space. We got bagels from St Paul Bagelry, and they also have pastries available. We ordered a vanilla latte and Grandma's House latte. Both were flavorful! The baristas were friendly and patient with the busy customers. Would recommend this lovely coffee shop if you're passing by or in the neighborhood.

What a wonderful atmosphere! Coffee, cappuccino and diet coke... After the big feast down the street. It is a bit busy at times but lovely people and service.

Had more delicious drinks at Happy Monday recently and everything is still amazing! The ambiance, friendly baristas, gorgeous mugs, and the bright open space are exactly what I love at a cafe.

This coffee shop is amazing. Huge space. Bright and basically all windows. Plants everywhere. Great coffee. Lattes are not too sweet - which is great. They have the best brand of tea (Spirit). Coffee shops are more and more just built for isolation and to-go orders. This place is built for community. And I love how blatantly Christian it is. So many open bibles at the tables. So many people praying or talking. Really impressive spot.

Super cute coffee shop near Rosedale! The open space is great, and perfect for getting work done. Service was also amazing. Only note is that the don't have a ton of milk options for those who have restrictions

Spacious and open. A great place for working, hanging out, and sipping on some delicious coffee! One of my favorites to go to when i have to get work done. I enjoy their classic espresso drinks but they do have seasonal drinks.

We lucked on this place. Very spacious and airy. We had a couple of iced coffees and sat outside in the seating cushions. I wish they had umbrellas or a shading area to relax in the outdoor patio. The service was great and friendly plus there's a huge parking lot.

Coffee is very good. Service makes you feel as tho your are a wealthy Californian in search of espresso. I don't love that they say they won't serve particularly. Dunn brothers is better.

I went on a Friday mid-afternoon and had a good productive time. There was a lot of seatings and outlets throughout the space. I got an Iced Chai Latte and it was good. The latte came out pretty fast so I didn't have to wait long. They have a pretty big parking lot so I had no problem finding a spot. They also had a patio for people to sit if it gets full inside. It was a nice day when I went so they opened up their big warehouse glass commercial doors and so there was a nice light breeze.

What a great place! First of all it had a huge space to hang out and do some work. Staff were super super friendly and they have a great selection of pastries and of course I had to get my matcha drink iced as for some reason it's September and it was very hot outside. The place is super inviting and is filled with tons of natural light. There is a pretty huge parking lot which made it super accesible. I look forward to coming here and having coffee dates with friends. The place is also connected to a church and Monday- Wednesday they have the prayer room open which I thought was incredibly awesome.

I stopped by this new coffee shop (opened a week or so ago) today and was easily pleased! This is a really nicely sized place with numerous types of seating. That being said, it was bopping by 10 am. Despite that, I got two drinks (iced chai and mocha -- both delicious) and two bagels (also equally delicious and from the amazing Mogi Bagels) in less than 5 minutes! I was very impressed with the quality and speed of Happy Monday Company. Everyone working there was super nice as well. You can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into this place and I can't wait to go back (and maybe buy some pottery while I'm at it!). P.S. Parking is ample!

literally the best coffee and staff in Minnesota!! We love the space too - lots of light, tall ceilings and a garage door for the summer.

I'm sorry Jason. You really had my hopes up when you were talking about Betty and Earl"s biscuits…read moreon your show but you've proven to me once again that unless you were raised in the South or by a Southern transplant you don't have a clue about baking soda biscuits. A good southern biscuit is hard to find in Minnesota. In my house they are served warm. and soft, usually fresh from the oven. A dab of butter melted inside sets them off perfectly. If a restaurant in Minnesota says it has Biscuits and Gravy I can't resist trying it only to be disappointed over and over again. That being said, KFC and Hardee's both have a good biscuits. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with frozen Pillsberry Grand Buttermilk Biscuits. Not the ones that come in a tube. So why would I go to a bakery in a mall that opens at 11 to get a biscuit? I trusted Jason. He sounded so sincere. Huh! Big mistake, I should have checked out his genealogy. The actual place is in the food court in the Rosedale Mall and the sign says, "Seeet and Savory by Diane" . The first warning was seeing the biscuits on a covered cake tray like you might stack doughnuts. These people are bakers after all not cooks. So, we wait for the lady at the counter to finish helping the person in front of us and then we asked for biscuits and gravy. The lady walks over to the sign and shows us the little sticker they added that says, "Weekend's Only". I was already wondering why anyone would start serving breakfast at 11. While we were trying to figure out if that applied to every item on the board or just the biscuits and gravy another customer got in front of us. We decided to ask for biscuit and egg sandwich's and a cup of coffee. Well, they only make one craft of coffee a day and when it's out it's out. If we wanted coffee we were told we need to go to the Brew and Waffle concession a few feet away. Alright no big deal, but over there no one's behind the counter and I am baffled as to what is going on. It doesn't seem to be self serve but there is a young lady sitting at the counter eating. Finally she gets up and acknowledges me by telling me she's on break but but since I'm there, she'll help me out anyway. She made it very clear that I was inconveniencing her. Well then, put up a closed sign or a "Back at 1pm" sign. Let's just skip on to describing the biscuit sandwich or more precisely the $10 (the sign said $8 I think) biscuit sandwich. The biscuits were big and thick and yellowish in color. I wondered if they added cornmeal to the flour. They had a gritty texture but not as gritty as cornbread. Ok, next time we'll try Betty and Earl's Minneapolis location. And Jason, spend a weekend south of the Mason-Dixon line and learn a little more about biscuits. Damn! I'm so sorry! I forgot to take pictures.

I've had two meals from Betty and Earl's and both are meals I would order again…read more While the plague perpetuates I am only getting curbside takeout, and their system for that works just fine. Ordering from the website is easy; you can opt for curbside delivery, and once your order goes through you get an email with instructions to call them when you arrive. There is a handy little parking circle by the main entrance to Potluck; that area gets plenty of traffic but your call with a friendly B&E's person will ensure that they find your car among the group. I got the biscuits with sausage gravy the first time and the pulled pork open-face biscuit thingie the second. Both were really good. The sausage gravy was a great, meaty brunch item, and the pulled pork was really delicious. Having piles of shredded BBQ pork on top of those thick, freshly-made biscuits was a unique experience. As long as you don't mind getting your fingers a little messy - and if you're eating pulled pork then honestly what do you expect - you just form a pile on one of the biscuits and hold it by the biscuit as you snack it down. There will be leftover meat that you can eat with a fork. I got yummy fresh cookies both times as well, and ended up full and satisfied. One issue I have with the website is that there isn't a description of the entrees, so you don't necessarily know what will come on them and there's no option to request, for instance, "hold the pickles". But that's about it; I really like the food I've gotten here and will keep it coming.

I liked how the egg salad and cucumbers balanced out the butteriness and crispiness of the croissant! It was a very filling lunch. I came with my sister and we both got different teas. She enjoyed her hojicha tea with a bit of syrup added. I really liked the Po cha / Tibetan tea which was a buttery milky tea. It definitely woke me up. :) I would recommend if you are someone who likes not too sweet, nutty, and not too bitter teas. We both enjoyed the Tibetan momos -- the meat filling ones are definitely soupier which was enjoyable. The veggie dumplings tasted better with more of the chili crisp oil. The mochi ice cream most likely used the ones from MyMochi packs but the cream was nice to have and it was a fun sweet treat! Definitely would come back with family or friends when visiting the cities again. Drinks we got at the front where we ordered but they brought food for us which was nice since we decided to stay in to eat lunch. Seems like it's a nice place to study and work and they have WiFi. The place is nicely decorated with Tibetan decor and plaques talking about the history/background which was cool. There is also better lighting / lamps along the walls if you're studying and need it.

I also loved the individual task lights above the smaller tables. It's a small detail, but it made the space feel really thoughtful. The only downside is that there isn't much natural light, so the cafe can feel a little dark, especially toward the back. The staff was the biggest disappointment. They weren't rude, but they came across as pretty standoffish, which made the experience feel less welcoming than the space itself. I ordered the light roast coffee and, unfortunately, it was pretty terrible. That said, the menu is huge with lots of different drinks and food options, so I'm sure there's something on it that would be a much better choice. I also didn't try any of the pastries, but they looked absolutely massive and definitely caught my attention. Overall, I really wanted to like this place more. The atmosphere is great and it seems like an excellent spot to work or relax for a while, but the coffee and less than welcoming service left me a little underwhelmed. I'd be willing to give it another shot and try something different from the menu.
