I get it - the service at this location isn't amazing during high volume times like the weekend. The quality of the food however, has always been great. The dishes that we've consistently ordered have generally been snow crab legs and shrimp-related meals, and they've always been perfect. On the few occasions that I've ordered the steak and lobster tail meal, the steak has been great too. The overall vibe is like most other Red Lobsters - if you've seen one, you've seen them all.

First walked in around 12 for lunch. The lights in the bar area were off and there was a family of 4 or 5 ahead of us waiting to be seated. Thru eventually asked was anyone there because it looked deserted. Finally, a manager comes out and proceeds to seat them. My party ask is the bar available for seating, she says nobody is there. As we're trying to decide to stay or not, she says to just come back later, happy hour starts at 3. That should've been the sign, turning customers away in an empty restaurant. We did return later and we absolutely shouldn't had. The bartender was horrible. She kept disappearing. Customers waiting to place to go orders would continuously leave. At 1 point, they gave some to go orders their food without biscuits, and were told it's a 10 minute wait for biscuits. Why they would give the food, knowing part of the red lobster experience are the biscuits is mind blowing. One customer returned his food. The staff were not familiar with the menu or promotions that they were running. It was simply a mess. We wanted to try Red Lobster 1 last time because we heard rumors they were going to close. After my experience, I can't see myself ever going to this location again. It's overpriced and the service is horrible.

Last night I came there to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday with my siblings and we had Ms. Mahnoor for our waitress, she seem kind of new but she was attentive and friendly to our party of 5 and half. The food came out very fresh and hot. The atmosphere was very nice for a midweek dinner to celebrate. We enjoyed our time and thank you Red Lobster of South Plainfield for giving us as their guests!!!

Stopped in for a quick meal with the family. It was moderately busy with about 3 servers and a host. I had the margarita flight which came with 3 rocks glasses of flavored margaritas. They were garnished and had salt/sugar/taking rims. They were tasty for the price. We ordered the Lobster Bake and Create Your own with Lobster Shrimp Linguini and Garlic Lobster tail. The Bake was tasty. The Lobster tail was flavorful and soft. The linguini could have had more meat and was lacking flavor. The biscuits hit as always. The server was polite and informative. Who doesn't love Lobster on a Tuesday!

Our party was situated downstairs at a nice round table. This really helped us share the seafood tower and pass clams around. Our group ordered the small seafood tower, and it was everything I could have dreamed of. It had a little bit of everything. The presentation was flawless. I am still in awe of the lobster. Dinner was also very good. Just about everyone ordered something different, and we left pretty happy. The only issue was the music. I don't know if this is the case for the entire restaurant, but the downstairs had bouncy ukulele covers for the entirety of our time there. It was also a bit too loud. I felt like I had to get up to hear someone sitting a few people away from me, or speak too loud to for shared space because there's a bouncy ukulele covers of Without You by The Kid LAROI. (No, that's not an embellishment. That actually played.) All in all, we had a great time, great food, in a beautiful space. Natalie was a very attentive service. But please, maybe some different music?

I recently tried the chef's 8-course tasting menu, and it was perfectly paced--the small plates are proportionately sized so you leave feeling satisfied rather than overwhelmed. Every dish is a standout with deep, "stacked" flavors; even the ingredients I was skeptical about ended up being favorites. Nothing needed a drop of extra seasoning. The service sets a warm, welcoming tone from the start. We were offered Oshibori (Japanese warm towelettes) to refresh our hands, and getting a fresh set of utensils with every course was a high-end touch I really appreciated. Menu Highlights: Taro Fritter: A sweet-textured appetizer inspired by Chinese desserts, topped with caviar and soy-pickled beets. It was a beautiful way to awaken the palate. Mackerel Crudo: As someone who isn't usually a fan of raw dishes, I was surprised by how much I loved this. It's light, perfectly acidic, and balanced with plum, ponzu, and apple. Grilled Sunchoke: This was "rustic elegance" in a bowl. The smell alone is incredible, and the combination of ginger crab and shellfish butter is pure comfort. Smoked Duck: Topped with black winter truffle and caramelized onions in a gochujang sauce--absolutely excellent cook and presentation. Braised Beef Cheek: So tender you can skip the knife and just use your fork. Since I forgot to BYOB, I tried their house-made Luck & Love hibiscus drink. It's hands-down the best hibiscus tea I've ever had--I actually tried to buy one to-go, but they only make enough for dine-in guests! It's a fantastic spot to bring friends or loved ones, though I'd recommend arriving early. The parking lot is extremely tight, so you might need to look for space in the lot next door.

This was my first time at Kc's Korner, and the overall experience left me with a good impression. Like the other reviewers say here, it's a great neighborhood bar! We were a party of three. After parking in the private lot, we entered Kc's from the patio entrance in the back. We were greeted by a hosts. I think he first wanted to bring us inside, but then my friend told him we were there for the music on the patio. We ordered food. My vegetarian husband and our vegan friend both went with plain quesadillas (just with the veggies) and non-alcoholic drinks. I went all-in and ordered a Kc's Classic Smash Burger with fries, and a side of onion rings (which my hubs and I ended up sharing). My friend and husband said the quesadillas were good. My hubs said it was better than he expected being a bar and all. The onion rings were really good - tasty batter and fried perfectly. My smash burger was fantastic - hit the spot. I saw that the Patio drink menu had Surfside and Suncruiser canned drinks. I asked our bartender what she thought. She was cool and gave me her take on them. I appreciated that she chatted with me and gave honest input. So I ordered them here for the first time, and they are pretty good! That night, it looked like only 3 people were working the front of the house, so they were busy, but they were on it and were still friendly and outgoing. The place really has a good vibe. Again, great neighborhood bar!
