Made reservations for the Saturday before Mother's Day (5/9/26). These reservations were made 3 weeks in advance for 4:45 pm. After waiting 40 minutes with no update from Hostess or Manager. It pains me to write this review because this use to be my favorite establishment, but this location has gone downhill drastically. The floors under our table were extremely dirty. The Establishment is not packed but a fair crowd, the bar and floors are dirty and I will not be coming back to this place ever again. My my my. No service. We saw our waiter once every half hour. She forgot half the stuff we ordered but we never got a chance to tell her. Customers were walking around in the kitchen looking for servers but we couldn't find anybody. They were so short on servers the cooks were walking around with aprons on serving food. I wanted the staff to sing happy birthday to my aunt - the waiter brought out melted ice cream with a candle in it and said she couldn't find any staff to sing happy birthday with her. Good food horrible waitress! I hate to start off my review with such a negative comment but I'm so disappointed with my experience at the longhorn on Baltimore pike . Let me start out by saying the wait time was not bad at all for Sunday evening, but it seems like everything else after that went downhill. Got seated with menus which were dirty along the pages Chris(waitress )came over to take our order with this stone face which lasted till we were ready to go, which was odd because she was smiling at other customers a few tables down.To make the situation even worse we asked for To Go containers for leftovers and she brought us these small freaking containers telling us that these are the only containers she could provide us because the bigger ones are for steaks with bones or if u order take out ! If you missed the Ultimate Endless Shrimp, you have to make sure you get it next time around. Everything was beyond delicious I have 2 new favorites and it's the Crispy Dragon Shrimp and Shrimp Rangoon ....OMGee, they are sooo good! The dragon shrimp is sweet and slightly spicy and if you're familiar with crab rangoon, then you'll love their shrimp rangoon even better since you'll have it all in one bite! Careful when biting into it tho, a burst of that hot cream cheese filling will ooze out all over. The grilled shrimp skewers are grilled to perfection and very tasty! My other original favorites are the Walt's favorite shrimp and the Parrot isle coconut shrimp. Walt's favorite is delicious fried butterfly shrimp and if you get these, make sure to get the tartar sauce that's top tier! The coconut shrimp has a sweet pineapple, piña colada dipping sauce that complements the shrimp so well. With the endless shrimp you have a choice of 2 sides and 3 orders of shrimp to start off, but if you want to add a salad that's an additional charge. Of course you will get this yummy cheddar bay biscuits....they do try to bring out extra baskets to fill you up quicker lol, I just take them home! Polite and we never had to ask for anything she was always one step ahead of us. If you head to this location definitely ask for her section. You won't regret it. Hubby loved his crab legs. His meal had 3 types. The guys had some type of chocolate cake dessert which they loved especially since it came with ice cream. Friday August 2nd, my son and I trekked to Red Lobster for dinner. We arrived around 6:45pm and told there would be a 15 minute wait. No problem, my son absolutely wanted to dine here. The wait was tolerable and probably not even 15 minutes to be honest. The restaurant was busy but not crowded. We were shown to a booth that was both near a window and an electrical outlet (+ in my book b|c I could charge my phone while we ate) Our waitress came quickly to our table ready to take our order. She took our drink order and when I asked about the size of the lobster, she gave her honest review (I asked how big it was because I wanted a very large lobster). She brought our drinks to the table and the delicious Cheddar Bay Biscuits (my son was overly excited). My drink came in a cute little lighthouse glass. I ordered: Tito's Strawberry Lemonade -- Tito's Handmade Vodka mixed with hand-crafted strawberry lemonade | I got to keep the glass Creamy Garlic Parmesan Crab Dip Live Maine Lobster -- Wild-caught, Fresh from the Atlantic. Served with Chesapeake Corn and Fresh Broccoli My son ordered: Chicken Tenders and French Fries with a Coca Cola There wasn't a long wait for our food to arrive and it came out nice and hot. The Creamy Garlic Parmesan Crab dip was delicious and creamy with bits of shrimp as well as crab. The tortillas that came with it were nice and crunchy. My lobster was totally delicious! WARNING WARNING WARNING!!! Double and triple check your receipt always when you come to this place (please see the attached receipt). The bottom receipt clearly says that TIP NOT INCLUDED. However, please see the top part that says Open Food for 95.19. Luckily we spotted that 95.19 and asked, turned out that was the tip. We wonder how many people have fallen into this trick. We really think that this illegal activity was not the first time. Here is the list of the problems: - No one told us when we came in nor no sign displayed anywhere indicated that gratuity would be automatically included for big party (10 adults + 1 kid). However, this is the least problem I'm listing here. This is a common practice, and we would be completely ok if this was the only problem. - 22% automated gratuity. Wonder if this is the restaurant policy or was just made up on the spot by the parties involved (manager and waitress). - Putting tip as an OPEN ITEM? Who would've done such thing? - Waitress never told us that tip was included as an open item. This is an uncommon practice. Letting us know that tip has been added as an open item was the least she could do as a common courtesy. - When being brought up to the manager, he said that "This is how we do it". Are we saying that Red Lobster's system is this poor to handle included gratuity? - Having tip added as an open item, it means we have to pay tax for that 95.19 open item. Again, as a national chain, is Red Lobster's system is this poor? I may be wrong here, but I really think that this is beyond the waitress. For the waitress to be able to retrieve the tip from open item, it means the charge needs to be reversed. Who can reverse that? Of course that's the manager who will reverse the charge. Please note, manager had no answer to questions we asked and trembled while talking to us. We still left the 95.19 as a tip to our waitress as she was serving us well during our dinner until this incident. We've never experienced anything near this as long as we have been eating out. I ordered the Langostini Lobster, Artichoke and Seafood dip as a starter. First time having it. I probably wouldn't get it again, but it was good. For my main course I had the Seaside Trio with a baked potato and wait for it...crispy Brussels sprouts. My mom, daughter and myself went to red lobster in springfield we was seated at 5:45 it took another 10 mins before we was acknowledge i ordered clam chowder and lobster linguine, it took bout 20 mins before i got my soup and then when we got our entree my linguine was dry and i ask for more sauce but when the sauce came out it wasnt the lobster linguine sauce it tasted like a cheese sauce. I told the manager and he told me it was the sauce and i knew it wasnt i also told the waitress and she told me it was the right sauce because i get it all the time when i go there. I knew that I probably wouldn't get disappointed here, for one I'm a huge seafood lover and two Beyonce quoted Red Lobster in her song formation! I came here to celebrate my earthstrong and we had service with a smile. Our waiter was very friendly I wish I knew her name cause she was super sweet and she really hooked us up! I ordered the New Orleans salmon along with lobster mashed potatoes and green beans. It was all delicious and we had so much food. My entree also came with a ceaser salad and you cant forget the famous cheddar biscuits. Lastly i received a surprisingly birthday song by the staff at Red Lobster followed by beautifully creative plate of an ice cream sundae. Traveling tonight and early arriving to meet my friends. I stopped at Red Lobster because I have had a gift card I won at a charity event in my wallet for two years. I forgot about but changing from my Louis Vuitton wallet to my True Religion wallet. There was a wait list so I sat at the bar. I waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged, the bartender Sierra was pumping out a ton of drinks at the service bar. There were 6 guests at the bar. Some inpatient and even rude. I ordered a Cosmo with Tito's vodka, the way I like it. Sierra who had an angry look on her face made it, it was was warm. Fortunately a different bartender Felicia came behind the bar at 6 friendly and focused on the bar customers, also wearing an Eagles shirt so of course I'm pleased! Bartenders were both free pouring. I ordered the Maine Lobster tail duo with the upgrade side of crispy brussel sprouts. It took 17 minutes to get my dinner, that was excellent with how busy the place was. I had given the food order to Sierra and requested extra napkins, and extra drawn butter. A food runner delivered the dinner and the fabulous biscuits. No extra drawn butter instead it was a smaller than typical portion. The food was prepared perfectly and was fresh and hot. The brussel sprouts did not look appealing but may have been the best I ever had. It was definitely worth the $2.49 upgrade fee. The lobster tails were very good. I never received my extra napkins or a side plate I requested to place my lobster shells on. The quality of the food and attempts by Felicia to do it well earned this 4 star review. The caesar salad was drenched in dressing, so it was a little hard to eat for me personally. My husband and I went to Red Lobster, Springfield on Wednesday, December 7th for lunch. We were seated after a decent amount of time but had to tell the hostess 2X that we were a party of 2. There was a party of 3 ahead of us; no one behind us. How hard can it be?? After being seated, we had a waitress pass by our table at least 3X without even acknowledging us. Assumed she was not our waitress. It took her at least 15 minutes (yes the waitress that had passed by 3X) to finally take our drink order. Another 10 to bring our drinks. Thank goodness we ordered our meal at the same time. It also took quite some time to get our meal. I will comment that the meals were delicious and very hot but the good comments end there. My biggest complaint is the wait staff. I understand places are short staffed but can you put a little hustle into it. If you don't want to work somewhere, just leave. I am going to share our Red Lobster dining experience of last night. Our meal was absolutely delicious. Our server was magnificent. Very friendly. Extremely attentive. At the end of our meal, she was compensated well for her services and thanked for her hospitality and service. The GM came around and took our debit card and bill, brought it back to the table We thanked him. Praised their food and our server. Jim had to use the bathroom. I sat in the vestibule and waited for Jim to come out. We left and walked through the parking lot and Jim was opening my door. As I was sitting down, Jim closed my door and he got situated in the car. Next thing you know, here comes one of the host running around the corner and through the parking lot. Out of breath he says to me, you left and did not pay your bill!!!! Well LORD have MERCY! Why??? Why did this young man just run out to our car and accuse me (us) not paying our bill?!?!?! I went completely bullistic! First off, where the hosts and hostesses stand and where we were seated, he or any of them would not have been able to see any activity at our table. Secondly, I sat in the vestibule for a few minutes, in plain sight and NOT once was I questioned about our bill. Jim exited the bathroom and no one said anything to him either. Needless to say, I was in complete shock, humiliated and embarrassed from hell being accused of such foolery and having to PROVE that I paid my bill!!! I demanded to speak with management and was ignored. Jim did not allow me to go into the restaurant because he already knew it was going to be a situation if I went in. I sat in the car and just cried my eyes out. I came home and called up there only to get some smart ass (probably the ass that made such an accusation) give me the run around about speaking with management and was hung up on. I called right back. Make a long story short, I finally spoke with the General Manager who took my debit card and bill. He was very apologetic and tried to right the situation by offering a $150.00 gift card. This is not the end.
