Michelle demonstrated a keen eye for detail, bringing a meticulously prepared plate complete with a spoon, various sweeteners, fresh lemon slices, and napkins, all presented on a neat server tray. The celebrated biscuits were also brought swiftly, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Michelle's attentiveness throughout my visit was exemplary. She checked on me proactively, informing me when my food would be arriving shortly and reconfirming my order. The Shrimp Scampi was particularly outstanding, featuring a delectable butter sauce, and the Popcorn Shrimp was also excellent. While the mac & cheese with bacon did not align with my personal taste preferences (as I often find with most mac & cheese dishes when compared to my own), I acknowledge this as a subjective preference rather than a critique of its quality. Overall, the service was nothing short of spectacular. Michelle, in particular, performed an outstanding job, and I observed her providing the same high level of care to other tables. While the quality of the food would certainly encourage a return visit, it was Michelle's flawless service that truly elevated the experience and stands out as the primary reason I would choose to dine there again. The restaurant needs a face lift/make over all very dark and out of date. It was no surprise the food was absolutely terrible. Frozen fish, fries and shrimp. Over cooked and tasteless even the garlic shrimp garlic sauce was the worst any of us had tasted. Probably the worst meal we have ever had at a restaurant. Well it was so so. It seems red lobster is a hit or miss depending on where you go to. Despite the poor reviews I gave it 3 stars. Broccoli could have been more fresh and flavorful. The clam chowder here was served not as piping hot as expected. I had some apple juice with a lemon seed and made me wonder how clean the glasses were which I address to the manager that day. This is crazy! I took my mom out for her birthday and she left me here. Let me explain, my wife and I got all you can eat shrimp, my mom got a steak. I was only only round 5 of refills and we had been here (yes I'm writing this from the booth at this moment) for a little over an hour. I told her to go home if she didn't want to wait, that was 40 minutes ago. I am now waiting on round #9 it has been 18 minutes waiting. WTF?!?!?! Dashaun was our server. He was already off the clock and heading out the door. We arrived at 830 pm and he decided to clock in and help us. We are new to the area and we are so happy to be here. The wife loves Red Lobster, though I can live with or without it. It's been a few months since we went there to get something to eat. Being old folks and on the chronic side of health we don't eat inside restaurants. Because of the possibility of getting sick, we always order pickup. Anyway, I must admit the food was really good. Food is overpriced and the quality is low. My salad was swimming in dressing. The roasted Brussels sprouts were swimming in the balsamic dressing and were in a large clump...had to use a knife to cut through it. The service was probably the worst experience on our visit. The server kept handing me drinks and plates to pass down the table (there were 7 of us). This in itself wasn't a big deal but when the food came out, she handed me a scalding hot plate to pass down. The wait wasn't too bad however the confusion of the wait list was horrible.... They tried to seat us before a couple who had been there for a good 15 minutes before. There were way too many hands in the pot trying to do the wait list and figure it out. Just seemed like a lot of confusion. However, once we were seated we had great service. Coming from Florida, I have never had a bad experience at Red Lobster...until now! Where do I begin? They literally had 2 booths with people in the whole entire restaurant and they made us wait for a table. They finally sit us down and we all asked for water. It took them a while to being the water, but more importantly they didn't bring out the bread immediately, they waited to bring them together with the water. We ordered food and it was just terrible. I started off with a lobster bisque that was extremely salty and distasteful. For the entrée I had chicken strips with shrimp and some rice which wasn't too bad. My pops on the other hand had shrimp with asparagus that had a weird sour taste. He couldn't finish the sour asparagus, which ended up being an additional cost that wasn't mentioned to us. I love Red Lobster, but the food and service was not up to par at this location. read more

Disappointed from the start... We were seated and everything seemed fine, THEN we ordered our drinks. It took 20 mins before the drinks came to the table and we were asked what we'd like to eat. We did not receive any biscuits until another 20 minutes after ordering our food. Once we got our food and drinks our waitress "PLOPPED" the straws on the table as if we were contagious. One member of my family had an alcoholic beverage prepared and it came with a powdery substance in it, when we asked the waitress what it could've been she simply shrugged and uttered a "I don't know" of poorly emulated sympathy. Additionally we did not receive the sides we had ordered after getting our main courses, as if they were forgotten and had to get them in to go boxes because we'd already eaten our other food before they'd gotten to us. We had a older gentleman waiter and another younger waiter that filled in for a few minutes. This is the worst service I've ever received. Our waitress never brought out our biscuits-had to ask another server for them. Then we ordered the endless shrimp and never got the order placed because after more than 30 minutes we were just done. On top of all that there was no adjustment to the bill. Our server made multiple excuses, but as a customer I'm not interested in hearing someone needs to run it out or someone stole them out from under me-maybe you should've run them out or stood there to make sure they got to the table that waited patiently for 30 plus minutes. My first mistake was not looking at the food before I walked out to see that the food was horrendously undercooked. We went to dine in, and waited at the empty hostess stand for about ten minutes before we decided to try and find an employee in the restaurant to seat us. When we found someone, she said "oh yeah, we stopped doing that because we've been slow." Almost went to jail tonight after attempting to dine at the Valdosta Red Lobster. The manager, Maite Martin, had the nerve to call local police after we walked out due to severe lack of service. We had a party of 13 there to celebrate my nephews 12th birthday. We called in advance to let them know we'd have a large party. Most of us ordered the all you can eat shrimp for $18. We didn't recieve our first round of shrimp until we'd been there for AN HOUR AND A HALF! They took the order for the second round and fifteen minutes later we still had no shrimp, our drinks were empty, and we'd been begging for a biscuit refill forever bc we were still hungry. The biscuits didn't arrive until after the first round of shrimp had been served. But here's the kicker of the whole situation, we had asked to see the manager before the first round of shrimp was ever served. At that time, we'd been waiting for about 1 hr 15 minutes with no food at all still. We told the waitress at that moment that we would rather leave right now before any shrimp was served if we were going to be waiting long periods of time between rounds. It was already 7:15 and there were small children in our bunch. We told the waitress we were highly disappointed and wanted to see the manager. About 15 min later, (been there 1 and a half hours now) the first round of shrimp was finally served consisting of 12 measly tiny shrimp. Manager had never came. So when the second round of shrimp never came out, people in our party started getting up and walking out. My husband and I stayed seated with a few others. Once they realized our party was starting to walk, the manager came out. It was now around 30 or 45 min after we initially asked to speak to her. She told us she was working the cook line because they were understaffed and that's why she didn't come out. She made every excuse under the sun and said our food was coming up and she turned around and left. So the rest of us got up and left. Then Maite and the hostess came out into the parking lot where our group was all standing around talking to eachother. She didnt speak to any of us. Therefore, she didnt ask us not to leave nor did she ask us to pay. She wrote down MY tag number, bc my husband and I were the only ones sitting in our car which was parked right by the front door in a handicapped spot bc I'm disabled. We hadnt even cranked our car. She made no attempt to talk to us at this point so we were mad as fire at the crappy service by now AND STILL HUNGRY. So we took our business to Masatos where we were waited on promptly and recieved our food in a timely manner. However, about 15 minutes after arriving at Masatos, my cell phone rings and its a cop calling to inform us that we had 30 min to return to pay our bill or he'd be filing FELONY warrants on all the adults. The manager had followed us out & taken down my tag number. So my husband and his uncle went back to Red Lobster and were told they could pay the entire bill for all 13 people or be arrested on the spot bc we had left the property. Keep in mind, the cop said it was the managers choice whether we had to pay or not. Although 11 other people had left she held these two responsible. So they split the bill which was over $200 for partial meals consisting mostly of biscuits, water, and 12 tiny shrimp which took an hour and a half to get served! Noone ate the all you can eat shrimp!!!! And then we had to pay for the meal we could actually eat at Masatos!!!! Our bill shouldve been comped but instead, this hefer calls the cops! My nephew was crying hysterically at Masatos on his birthday bc he thought we were all going to jail. That's a hell of a way to treat people. Maite Martin is a moronic idiot who can rot in hell and me nor my family will ever step foot in any Red Lobster again unless this is made right and we are refunded. We gave her and her staff just short of 2 hours to serve us properly and she couldnt do it yet she found it ethical to call the cops on us and hold us liable for meals they never served up. And she was willing to serve warrants on us for that crap! In no shape fashion or form was this a dine and dash scenario. We gave her every opportunity to make it right. The ramifications of her her calling the cops could have been devastating to those in our group by causing loss of professional licenses, scholarships, and jobs. I'm still trying to figure out how the law could even be involved in this and where are our rights as customers? read more

The WalMart of Seafood. I have had to go there because of meetings and everything is covered in heavy butter or seasoning to cover poor quality seafood.
