As much as I always hate to be critical of a store, this experience wasn't great. We had a party of five and they sat us at a 4 top, one party member had to sit side saddle the whole time and there was an 8 top available that wasn't seated our whole meal. The service for drinks took forever, the drinks arrival took 15 min after appetizer and the appetizer took 15 min. The food arrived cold like it had been sitting under the warmer and that broccoli you see, that's not steamed that's fresh off the stock. My hash brown casserole was hash brown jerky. Why not lower? My son loved their summer bake. He annihilated it. So I assume it was a hit and a miss. read more

This Cracker Barrel location was just okay. It was busy when we arrived, which we understand, but the service was disappointing. Our waiter seemed disconnected and not very attentive. We ordered biscuits to start, but even those came out late--after our incorrect food order had already been brought out by a different server. The mix-up only added to the confusion, and by the time the biscuits finally arrived, the entire experience felt disorganized and frustrating. Be careful of this particular store. If their system is messing up do not believe the manager when they say the additional charges will drop off. Currently having to dispute the 2nd charge on my account because it in fact did not drop off. Being made to run your card again after showing the manager that it did come out of your account and being told it'll be ok I promise the 2nd charge will drop off is completely ridiculous. My husband, I and our daughter were there about 4 months ago. We were sat in a section with a young black girl. To begin she was very friendly and accommodating, unfortunately (I will explain), a black family (large group). Were put in this section. Suddenly our server stopped serving us, and we were NOT the only white people. The black customers came later than us BUT we stopped receiving service. Hostess and server were very nice. Ordered daily special which was turkey with dressing and 2 sides. Dressing looked like roadkill. Was dry old scraping from pan. It was 8:30 pm at night so I realize it's close to closing. Talked to manager and asked her if she would eat the dressing and she said no and the kitchen should have not sent it out. We offered to pay for tea and left. Manager handled situation the best way but "cook" needs some help and re-training. read more

Had the worst experience ever today; my wife and I had been traveling all day long and just wanted some comfort food. Melissa was our server and took our order shortly after we sat down. Restaurant was not busy at the time. My wife ordered the meatloaf and I ordered the home style chicken. I had a cup of coffee, and wanted a 2nd cup. A different server stopped by and asked if I wanted more. Still waiting another server stopped by and refilled my coffee a third time. After 45 minutes, we noticed other tables were getting their meals, and I was about to go get a manager when our food arrived, Luke warm proteins, cold vegetables and sides, and biscuits were not hot either. The meatloaf was broke in two pieces as if the kitchen just took two old leftovers and put it on the plate. My chicken was to have sawmill gravy but was not on the plate. When Melissa came back to check on us, we told her the food was cold, but after waiting 45 minutes, we were so hungry we just wanted to eat something. I asked for the gravy, which turned out to be the only hot item on our table. She brought biscuits but no gravy?? Melissa did not apologize which was strange after we complained. She said the food was just made and didn't sit under the hot lamps. This was not possible, but the plates were hot yet the food wasn't? So Melissa said she was going to get a manager. A gentleman manager returned, asked if we wanted to have another dinner made but we didn't want to wait and still had three hours left to travel. He then offered a gift card and apologized for the dinner and took the entire meal off our bill. Melissa came back and offered to put our food in a to go box; we said we couldn't eat the cold food anymore, didn't want to get salmonella poisoning and she just left, leaving us wondering if she even cared. My last trip to Cracker Barrel. It has gone to far down hill in the last couple of years. My wife and I went to this location in Valdosta for breakfast. No hostess at the hostess station for several minutes and no one seemed to care that we were just standing there. The restaurant only had about 4 couples and one family so it was certainly not busy. When the hostess did show up she took us to the back of the restaurant. Instead of giving us a table with some room, she seated us directly behind another couple. The man was puilled back from the table so there was no room for me to pull the chair out and sit down. My wife and I had to sit on the same side which is not as comfortable as sitting across from each other. After 10 minutes and no server showing up, We left. We had a similar experience in Macon for lunch. Server didn't show up for over 10 minutes and was not friendly. Stopped in Cordele back in November with another poor service and unfriendly breakfast. This is not the Old Cracker Barrel. So I'm done. The Board better wake up and make some changes or they will be out of business in the not to distant future. read more

Everything was wonderful! Our server was accommodating to a larger party with kids. My kids really enjoyed their food ! Bathrooms were clean , and workers were friendly . Highly recommend this for a stop when traveling to Florida or heading back from Florida to Georgia. read more

We were visiting family in the area and were just looking for a convenient place for an informal lunch on Sunday before heading out. I was slightly hesitant come here at that time, as from some prior experiences it seems like Cracker Barrels generally get swamped for Sunday lunch. However, we arrived by 11:30 a.m. and the wait was only about 10 minutes. The rocking chairs out front made that go by quickly. The dining rooms were at capacity, but the serving staff generally kept on top of things. Our server was friendly and generally kept things moving, though she disappeared for a while at one point. Again, in her defense, it was quite busy. Since the menu doesn't change here, you know what you're getting. I always enjoy their vegetable plate, especially the fried okra. The food was fine, in line with what you expect here. Overall, I'd say this spot was slightly more efficient than the average CB. It is about a half mile from I-75 on a fairly congested road. Also, their parking lot was not huge; it was mostly full when we arrived (though I think it may connect with some other lots where you might also be able to park...?). read more

Don't waste your time or money at this location. We came later in evening 8:30-8:45 pm. We (3 people) waited to give order as we started they was out of everything. Even the soda where out of carbohydrates When biscuits were served they were still Dowie and Kong our butter was hard and we were not even able to spread it on our biscuits. We asked for fresh biscuits and the woman brought out three cold biscuits no butter though. So let's talk about the food they were out of fruit cups for the kids they were out of pinto beans cornbread fried okra broccoli. We try to indirectly mention the issue to our waitress but it seemed like she was more concerned with end of the night task than actually serving the gas. Where our food was served our country fried steaks were cold my mashed potatoes were hard and ccoldmy fries beans was cold. All the other waitresses were cleaning and sweeping all around our table which cause a stir up of dust while we were eating which was also very irritating. As we were trying to E! it seems like more and more waitresses came out to clean the area which implied that they were ready to go even got to the point where one waitress was even stacking chairs and tables really loud and huffing and puffing. Since we're talking about cleaning let's go ahead and talk about how dirty this restaurant is the bathrooms were filthy toilet paper everywhere every toilet had P on the seats and in the men's bathroom there was no paper towels or toilet paper. After waiting 5 mins for waitress I ordered breakfast with crispy well done bacon and well done buttered toast. After about 20 minutes, my food comes out bacon is barely cooked. The toast is dry and cold and then she says to me oh, did you want butter? Uh yeah while you're at it, can you please have my bacon cooked? She takes the bacon leaves my potatoes, and I watch her set my eggs down on the counter in the kitchen while she hands the bacon back to the cook. Obviously, my eggs are now going to be cold. I waited another few minutes and now my lunch hours is nearly over. Still no sign of my food also coffee was very old and cold and while I was waiting for my food, she never came back to see if she could give me more coffee or anything. A lot of waitresses and waiters standing around chitchatting and a lot of customers waiting. ambience was off. I had to walk out because now I had to run through a drive-through so I could be sure to get something to eat for lunch. We had 5 adults and 4 children (ages 2-10). We ordered 8 meals. The waitress brought out the first four in a reasonable about of time (20 minutes) and informed us she was only able to submit 4 orders at a time and the other 4 orders were being plated and would be out shortly. 30 minutes later half of our table was done eating and the other half were still waiting. I stood up to contact a manager and as I did he was walking out of the kitchen. He told me the food would be out shortly, with almost no apology, 5-10 minutes LATER our food showed up and half of it was COLD! The chocolate chip pancakes had literally a pile of chocolate chips in the middle of the dough about 2" in diameter! The "manager" Jacob offered no compensation whatsoever for this horrible experience! Read negative comments is all I can say! While visiting son I thought I'd treat us to breakfast. I ordered curbside and it took upwards of 45 minutes. Upon server bringing us our food she basically threw it through the window. And not to mention the serving sizes were not what we normally get from Cracker Barrel at the other two locations we order from often. Believe all the poor reviews! Absolutely the very WORST Cracker Barrel in my experience. We got there around 8pm. We had a good waiter (William). But the food was horrible. Steak tasted horrible, turnips we're just so tired looking tasted horrible and you could smell thé rancid on them. Wife got eggs but the ham slice looked dry and surely was old. I asked William to let the manager know absolutely terrible food. They comped the meal 50 percent or so. I will never stop here again passing through Valdosta for gas and dinner. read more
