I was lost in the fog in Waterford trying to find a place to eat before a dance class, and out of the fog was this Red Lobster. It's not normally my first choice to go to a chain restaurant, but it was fine. The restaurant was mostly empty so we got seated immediately. Most of the items on the menu were very expensive, I found a pick 2 shrimp dinner that had one side choice so that is what I went with. My friend chose the weekday shrimp special that included popcorn shrimp, garlic shrimp in butter, and shrimp linguine Alfredo with Chesapeake fries. He really enjoyed his dinner and had plenty to take home as leftovers. I had grilled shrimp and shrimp scampi and chose a baked potato for my side. The rolls are always awesome and we got a second basket of them. The waitress was really good and very sweet. All in all a great experience. read more

Honestly, I think I have only had Red Lobster twice in my life. Once when I was little and once with a friend whose family enjoyed it, but my family was never into seafood restaurants when I was young, and it still is not today. But I wanted to come here to carry-out their famous cheddar biscuits because I have hear so much about them. I did arrive at an odd time, so there were not many customers, but I was greeted by a couple serves and they got the person in charge to take my order. A dozen biscuits are less than $8, practically cheaper than going to the grocery store and getting the ones in a can to bake. It was perfect. They were friendly and personable. I got home and make mini chicken and biscuit sandwiches for the family with them. They were pretty good, buttery and flakey. I do not taste the cheddar as much as butter, but they were a perfect accompaniment to our meal. One kid loved them so much she already craving more. I would probably come back for another carry-out of their food for dinner. Maybe one day I will also get to eat here, I have always wanted to try the shrimp and the cocktails looked good too. read more

I've had better bar food. Terrible service, very slow, kept bringing us food we didn't order (endless shrimp) and told us to take it home... which we did to be nice but threw it away promptly. So i came in focused - I was avoiding those garlic biscuits which I did but why is it so hard to get only meat. I was coming in to get a "TO GO" - i normally seat in but i had somewhere to be in a hour, so I decided to go with that option. Literally everything you try to buy comes with a side; I didn't want one at all - just some protein and i'm out the door. NOPE! I literally needed help - i'm glad the waitress was nice enough to assist because she did just point to the bar where you place your order. I basically paid for $12 for garlic shrimp skew (its was OK) and boiled flounder (which had NO FLAVOR AT ALL and was horrible). **where's the seasoning** I highly suggest if you going for something simple, then don't do it. The service here was the worst service I have ever had! I will never bring anyone here again. We were seated promptly and that was about the only thing that went right. I ordered the lobster lovers and my girlfriend ordered the salmon orleans. We ordered mussels as our appetizer. We were told that both dishes came with salad. She only brought out my salad. My date never received hers. Our server then disappeared. We were stuck listening to the bartenders talking about patrons and who will tip and who won't. One of the bartenders talked about coming into the restaurant high on her off night. How they don't like customers that come in 5 min before they close. Next thing you know, our entrees we're out. I asked the server what happened to our mussels- she said I'll be right back but I told her never mind, since they were an appetizer and our entrees were already here. She then left, came back to tell me that the mussels just came up and do I want them...I said no. After we're we're done I requested the bill and the server came back and gave the bill to my girlfriend!!! - after about 15 min!! Really? And the mussels were still on the bill!! I would normally pay with my card but not at this shady place. I'm not giving my card to my server! We paid with cash and got out of there. I tipped about 8% because I don't believe in leaving a zero tip. But this was awful. Absolutely awful. I will never come to this particular Red Lobster again. They bring you 2 options to start and then you can choose between 6 items on a list. It was so much food I only opted to try one other option. Food was good; drinks were good and service was great. Lee was our server. She was very friendly, and kept on feeding us with the famous biscuits. That I didn't mind. For dinner, we ordered the crab cake with salmon $24++ with mashed potato, broccoli and vegetable salad. The hollandaise sauce overpowered the taste of the salmon. For the Crab cake, you can it as is, or you may season it with salt, lemon or with the rest of the hollandaise sauce. Then, we had the 4-course feast with Caesar salad, clam chowder, shrimp linguini Alfredo and triple chocolate brownie a la mode for dessert $16++ Loved the rich creamy pasta. Food tasted ok. Fool me once shame on me. I've ordered from you twice and both times you gave my shrimp in the shell. It'd be one thing if I'd just ordered shrimp, but it's a creamy pasta that I can choose to throw away or individually separate all the shrimp, de shell them and put them back or eat around the shrimp while getting mad about it. Today 3/31/24 Easter Sunday my son and I decided that this is where we wanted to go as we have not been in a very long time and we wanted some seafood. I just want to say that our server SHELLYE WAS THE BEST !!! Her attention and professional service was over the top. Seated immediately upon arrival. 15 mins later server arrives. I showed her 2 emails, one with a meal special, one with my birthday cake. We ordered drinks, food, and dessert. I told her to put my drink on a separate bill. Half an hour and a basket of biscuits later the food comes. I asked for more biscuits. 20 mins later she comes back to ask if everything is ok. I said yes except I never got the biscuits. She said she'd bring them but I declined as we were through. 20 mins later she brings biscuits and just from the refrigerator cold chocolate cake and sauce. Wahwahhhhh.... Terrible. My ex and I came here a couple of years ago, we were seated immediately, waited for about 10 minutes while servers milled around the nearly empty restaurant ignoring us, before we got up and left. Then, last night I decide to grab a bit to eat on my way home from work. I sit in my car and ordered to go, I submitted my order at 8:33 and it tells me my order will be ready at 8:48. So I sit in the car, listening to the radio and walk inside at 8:50. I'm told to go to the bar for pickup.... I walk to the bar and stand there for close to ten minutes before either bartender acknowledges my existence, even though they've both made eye contact with me twice. The third time the female glances up (because I'm legit staring at her) I say, "I'm just trying to pick up my food." As she's finishing making the drink she's making (still only BARELY acknowledging that I'm standing there) she drops an entire bottle of tequila, gets a broom and a mop, runs my card and then disappears. Leaving only the male bartender. At 9:15 I've noticed the couple sitting at the bar quietly complaining to each other, another couple looking quite flustered over their ordering experience and another gentleman, who smelled like a dispensary, quietly waiting for his food. At about 9:25 I ask a server about the status of my order, as it's been about an hour. His response was, "Well ma'am, you could expect to wait about 20 minutes for that type of order." To which I replied, "Well it's been an hour and I didn't tell you what I ordered." The response he gave me before he walked away was, "Well it should take about 30 minutes before your food is ready."
