Think again before you plan to order from them. Since we cannot go out to dinners the family decided to place an order for Valentine's Day pickup. We started trying to order 4 hours before pickup, so we would give them enough time to order. Their website was crappy all day. When we had finally put in the order it changed to "Online ordering not available!". We tried it again and this time it went through, at least we thought, to the VERY last moment on checkout. It said this location is not accepting online orders. So after hours of trying we called them and tried to place the order over the phone and were told no, because they weren't taking any more orders. And they explained that when they get busy they just go offline. Come on Red Lobster. Get your act together so I can at least order the food and rate you on that. read more

I've never been crazy about Red Lobster. I feel their food borders on inadequate and their prices are high. So what keeps dragging me back to this place anyway? For starters, the cheddar biscuits are heavenly. If I were stuck on a deserted island, I could live off the cheddar buscuits. Their salads are always good and fresh and they do offer some decent lunch specials that do not break the bank. This is a seafood restaurant though, but I cannot in good faith recommend them based upon their seafood. A majority of it is frozen and fried, which you can get at any Long John Silvers for a lot less money. That which is fresh, such as their catch of the day specials, crab legs, lobster, etc., is always decent, but priced in such a way that if I were looking for seafood at that price point, I wouldn't be going to Red Lobster. The perfect visit to Red Lobster is to take advantage of a decently priced lunch special which includes salad, biscuits and entree. On the other hand, if I am looking for seafood for dinner, I would put Red Lobster quite a ways down the list. read more

Well, after returning here for lunch at a friend's request, I am determined to insist upon another establishment in the future, and my lunch mates are in agreement. The wait staff, while seemingly attentive, was not paying attention, since I received a regular instead of a diet soft drink, and our request for more cheddar biscuits, although acknowledged, was never delivered, despite very few patrons to attend to. As for the food, the portions and item sizes were even skimpier than already expected. I mean, can't the generously sized salad bowl at least have the illusion of being filled by adding and fluffing in just a little more lettuce with enough dressing to taste? The scampi were smaller than the small frozen shrimp at the store, the full-flowered, pale broccoli was crumbly-dry, and the marble-sized scallops were a cruel joke. Still hungry, because they didn't refill our biscuits, we decided against the $6 to $7 desserts that were composed of common fare, and were surely undersized for their price. Wonderful commercials, with trumped up photos and menu descriptions, led to great disappointment when our plates were set before us. A low tip helped us to recoup at least a few dollars of the exorbitant amount wasted. read more

If you like crab legs, you will like them here. You could save at least $15-$20 by buying your own and steaming them at home though, too. The supermarkets and restaurants all get them frozen from the same place. The lobster...hmm. The kids like seeing them in the tank. A nice 1 1/2 pounder won't be cheap though. They also have lots of fried stuff that all tastes the same for people who really don't like seafood. My wife doesn't eat seafood and I *love* it so she has been nice enough to go along but usually won't go because "there is only one non-seafood thing on the menu." I went here once with my parents and kids (no wife) and the manager was all up in our business after the meal asking how everything was and begging me to rush home and take their on-line survey, so maybe they are turning things around since the last review of this place? This west dundee red lobster continues to dissapoint me. It's the worst of 4 red lobsters that i've ever been to and i will never return. The service at this location was the worst i've ever experienced in a chain restaurant and this did not happen on just one occasion, it happened on 3 seperate occasions and for that i will never return. The staff is SLOW, young, and really dont care to take care if it's customers at all. I have been to other red lobsters and for some odd reason the pricing at this location is a bit higher than the other one i frequent. If it wasn't for the ceaser salad and those chedder bay biscuits i dont see any reason to ever go back there. There is much finer seafood out there, for better prices to boot. read more

We had shrimp fest! Was really good! I believe there are 5 types of shrimp. Thekey is to not eat ANYTHING! Dont let the bread and other things fill you up! It is $18 all you can eat, if you eat 40shrimp you make out good. I ended up 68 - and insplurged and had a baked potatoe, broccoli, and a piece of the bread roll. Twice now I have been here and the service has been deplorable. I had been sitting for 15 mins on a quoted 5-10 minute wait for a booth in the bar. Just looking up there were 4 empty booths within my line of sight. The food is mediocre, the crab legs over cooked. The stars are for the biscuits and the carrot cake. Ordered to-go this evening. Really impressive job - easily the best to-go experience we have had during this whole covid-19 ordeal. While driving to the restaurant, the manager even called me to ask if I needed any ancillaries with the meal, like plates/napkins, as I had not specified on my order. Upon arrival at the restaurant, everything was as requested, packaged nicely, and I was assisted with loading my vehicle (it was a rather large order). This business is following Covid 19 protocol from what we could see. All employees we saw were masked and cleaning tables after customers left. Patrons were well separated. A five star Red Lobster.. I've been here twice, as of this writing, and each time has been a very good experience. It was busy the second time we went, but we were seated within 10 minutes. Both times, our servers have been excellent and very kind. The food was prepared perfectly. I always look forward to stopping here! This will be our last visit at this location. I do understand their location is not at the best neighborhood but they could serve better. First we were waiting 15 min for table and girl taking us to our table was totally lost and confused. Then we got a server with the most annoying high pitch voice that make her the onlybperson being heard in entire restaurant no matter where she was.She took our order and clock has stopped. 15 min wait for appetizer, then 10 min for salad and then 25 min for food which was absolutely horrible. Me and my son had shrimp trio with cold pasta ,2nd shrip was in oil pool and 3rd one was over fried with Brussels sprouts which were cooked and then leftbin the oven so ,so it was perfectly brown and dry that tasted like a cotton balls .My husband had a steak and shrip with broccoli. His steak tasted like a cardboard, chewy and dry with no taste on top of it it was just throw over mashed potatoes and decorated with over cooked broccoli. We had a cupon for appetizer up to $12 but we got charged anyway .Only because we didn't enjoyed our food they give us $15 discount. Look like I got $3 discount to make me feel better after such of awful dinner. I haven't been to red lobster in a long time. I used to love coming here. The quality of food is bad now; it used to be awesome. I could have went to Texas de Brazil and had a better meal for the same price. The amount of money they charge you here is not worth the amount of food you get. Came here on a Monday with a gift card we had gotten a while back. I ordered the surf and turf, filet and lobster. My husband ordered a bunch of different options with shrimp and fish. My steak was so hard to eat, the knife wouldn't cut through it, if it's a filet it should be tender, I couldn't even chew it. The outside was burnt but the inside was so chewy I had to spit it back out. The lobster was okay, outside again... over cooked. Inside was better but it was super fishy... it shouldn't be that fishy tasting. The sides were okay, you can't really mess up corn and a baked potato. My husband said the whitefish was bland and had no taste to it, the shrimp was "okay" Our bill was about $85 which to me, definitely wasn't worth it at all. Plenty of other places in the area with great food that are much cheaper. The only good part about this place is the biscuits. read more

Honestly, my wife hates fish, so it is hard to drag her here. We went tonight and the food sucked. I got 16 mediocre shrimp for $14.00, when I could have bought an entire bag of 70 shrimp for $12.00. The portions use to be bigger, but now they are a weight watcher's lunch portion. The service was awful and my son said "there is a lot of old people here!" Those old people are keeping this business afloat! I wish the red lobster staff took notes from the Olive Garden staff. They are both Darden companies. Priced the same, but are two very different experiences. After this experience, I will not be returning to Red Lobster, unless I am forced to go with friends. I don't like seafood or fish, but I had to take a group of senior citizens there for work. They loved the food, but what impressed me was the service Anita gave. She was kind, patient, and phenomenally helpful to a few old women with Alzheimer's Disease. She took her time and went over the menu with them when they were overwhelmed by the large menu, didn't seem to mind answering the same questions several times, and helped them remove the lobster from the tails when they didn't know how. Anita was outstanding, and while I may only eat the biscuits, I would take them back again and again if they get such great service from her. read more

The coconut shrimp is to die! It is served with a pina colada tasting sauce that it out of this world. I took my mom there for a belated mother's day gift and we shared a triple feast of shrimp w linguini, crab legs and coconut shrimp. It was delicious. Terrible service by Melyssa W. She was rude, absent, and ultimately very inattentive. The food was over salted: rolls, salad dressing, lobster - you name it and it was over-salted. I could forgive the overpriced, over salted food if it weren't for the appalling waitress service by Melyssa W. she did not deserve the 15% my very kind wife left her. If it were up to me I would have stiffed her like she stiffed us on even minimal service. The restaurant wasn't even busy! We will not be returning to this location. I only gave 2 stars because the food was really good. Came today for lunch on a wednesday. With my fiance and son. Probably 3 other couples here. With 3 to 4 waiters. Took 10 minutes to attend us. Our waitresses name was heather. Real nice, but really super super slow on service. Took more than 20 minutes for our appetizer, another 25 for out food. We order mac n cheese for out son. Which probably could have made at home. I'd expect more at Red lobster but the meal was still enjoyable read more

Wow what a nice early Valentines Day I had with my man Pete! He took me to Red Lobster near Spring Hill Mall last Friday for an excellent dinner. We ordered drinks, got those delish endless cheddar bay biscuits, house salads with this delish blueberry vinegerett dressing, and for the main course we both got delish crab linguini Our waiter was Tannar and he was very knowledgeable of the menu selections, attentive, and very nice, and is great at his job I reccomend everyone to go to Red Lobster!
