There are a lot of flavors to choose from at Red Mango. If you're one of those people who like to sample things, this is probably the place for you. You can try any of the flavors with their teeny sample cups. My favorite is the Greek Mango with fruit toppings. They used to have green tea flavor - but this one is only at the one on Roosevelt Ave in Flushing and in the one on 32nd St. This is my go-to place for guilt free yogurt - you can choose the quantity and toppings. The staff keeps the place clean and warm - especially in the winter months when I eat this the most! read more

The place is completely run down. The couch is ripped and has some kind of drop cloth on it. Go to Ikea and get some furniture. Your staff is very friendly and your product is delicious but unfortunately running out of forks and spoons,( having staff 1/2 nearby restaurant to borrow some) dirty floor and ripped broken Furniture is doing you a huge disservice. read more

Yesterday I visited this location twice with my daughters, 8 and 4 years old. The first trip was fine although I had to ask for my receipt and a bag. We went to the car to eat. The yogurts was so good we wanted more. The second trip, HORRIBLE. We ordered three frozen yogurts, paid, then I asked for a bag. I was told by Paola the store associate, there were no bags. I couldn't walk out with 3 containers and hold my children's hands. She bent down and grabbed a crumpled bag, tried to straighten it out. I told her "no I will not accept that used bag. I'm not a dog!" Then she went to the back to check for a bag. She came back with another girl. I stepped aside so she could help the 2 customers, who were caucasien. Paola gave my 3 containers to them in another bag she found. I then asked for a refund and told her "don't think you're white!" A horrible experience, you can't tell me you ran out of bags!!! I tried really hard to like this place since I work at Lake Success, too. But coming in here on my lunch break gets more & more frustrating every time. Constantly new kids working there. Usually only 1 at a time & the front is left with customers staring at each other wondering where the employees are. 15 minute wait for an Acai bowl. Depending on who is working, the shakes drastically vary. I know some people have bad days but it ends up being me having a bad lunch experience considering this is the only place to get "healthy food." read more

Picture this, its a cool spring morning. The breeze drew up the dew and a cold yet refreshing mist was lifted into my face. As I was walking down Marcus avenue I notice a bright fluorescent​ sign and think to myself "what a wonderful little shop, maybe i should give it a look". Upon closer inspection, I realize it is a frozen yogurt shop, not the best choice for a chilled winter's day; or so you may think. As i enter this establishment an employee greets me with a "hey there, welcome to 'The Mang'", and three things are immediately evident: 1) This is not any ordinary yogurt shop, the menu was filled with all sorts of varieties including soups sandwiches and juices. Of course the yogurt and smoothies we have all come to know from "The Mang" were still on full display. 2) The staff there clearly has an interest well above their years. The cashier seemed to be a young teen, with curly brown hair and freckles spotting his lightly tanned skin as if he'd been frolicking in a sandy beach all morning, not dutifully making frozen art that is the acai bowl. Anyway i got a Hawaiian​ teriyaki flatbread to warm as well as fill my empty stomach. As the gentleman rang me up and made beautifully eloquent small talk with me i could smell the sandwich as it was being grilled in the back by another fantastic employee. As I was leaving, all I could think about was that neon sign. How the glow lead me like a siren to a wonderful oasis that is Red Mango. or as the locals refer to it The Mang. 10/10 wud go again read more

Beware parents of having your child seek employment at this establishment. My child has worked there and was left alone till all hours of the night. She was always told that 2 employees must work together when in fact it was only my child alone till 11 pm at night when the weather got cold and business died off to save them money. I sat there many nights to make sure that my child was safe. Then the final straw was when my child was told that she received a phony $100 bill and the owner told my child that they were taking it out of her pay. I called left my number asked that owner call me and instead call my child stating that they are not sure if it is phony till they go to bank and have it checked. During that week they let her go and took the $100 out of her pay check. 17 year old child going to school who has no training on phony $100 bills and is left alone. Shame on them please do not let your child work there. They do not care about them and only take advantage of them. Keep the $100 I truly hope this affects your business shame on this store. Parent protecting her child and other peoples children from this establishment! read more

Used to love this place- frozen yogurt is still the same, but it has really declined over the years. It's very apparent that the franchise owner is only concerned with his or her profits, and invests no money back into the restaurant. Most of the furniture is broken and or peeling, and on top of that, the entire place is always sticky. 1 star from me!!! read more

Just got my favorite yogurt again and a bottle of Fresh juice and they have grill chicken sandwich now, I tried the buffalo chicken which had pretty decent amount of meat and cheese it was delicious a good reason for me to come back again and again even during the cold weather. And they are serving hot soups for the winter. Last but not least they have a variety flavors of colorful macarons and the new yummy acai bowl which I want to try during my next visit. Is the difference between large size and regular size the amount of ice you put in? I thought it was more strawberry and actual ingredients... I ordered large size strawberry energizer. A staff member made me regular size, so I asked for a large size (what I paid for). She literally just threw in some ice to increase the amount of smoothie. She threw more ice as the first time was not enough to fill up a large size cup. She did this right in front of me, so it made me think that the amount of ice is actually the only difference. If that's how it is, I'm cool, but if it was supposed to have more strawberries and stuff, this was a sad experience, as I love coming to this shop. read more

I came here yesterday (Monday) and Sunday. I love the variety of flavors and self service. Sometimes I just want a small amount. Both days there was a super perky blonde girl who was friendly and working hard. Unfortunately on Memorial Day, (late afternoon) there was a male employee who gave a friend a free drink. I watched as he made sure his fellow employees were at the other end of the store. So uncool. It was a real turnoff. read more

Red mango used to be really good when it first opened some years ago, but now its not as good. The taste is not the same and so many other frozen yogurt shops have since opened. I think Menchies is soooo much better, creamer and sweeter. Menchies also offers interesting flavors. The graham cracker one is my favorite. All in all Red Mango is good for a fix. read more

As good as the place is the staff needs to be more professional. There is no manager in charge and the customer service is horrible. I only had a large bill to pay with and they asked me to go next door to make change otherwise I couldn't have the yogurt unless I had a credit card. The attitude was really inappropriate. Friendly Staff. Guys they take coupons and you can even ask for the Red Mango card which is free. There are free samples and you can try as much as you like because they allow you to taste by using the machines yourself. Self serve samples will allow everyone make sure of the flavors they would buy instead of guessing yourself. Its bit cramed because of this reason. It never really bothered me , because people knew how to behave. So many new flavors every time I visited. I was clean and nice despite the large crowd in the summer. There is patio area for sitting. The staff is friendly. The topping table is wonderful, however its a bit messy. They have the parking alot and its free. They take credit cards and there is no minimum. They have parfait and shakes but never tried them. read more

I think I just found my favorite Red Mango! This store has about double the amount of flavors and toppings than the average Red Mango store. They have caribbean coconut, mango, madagascar vanilla, pina colada, nutty potion, white peach, and so many more to choose from. I love that it's a self serve store so you can fill up your cup to your heart's content. They also have sample cups upon request if you want to try the flavors before you fill up your cup. read more
