My review, my opinion, IJS....I gave a 4 for the WINGS....Everything was just ok...the pizza was not a favorite,,the fries were warm and in seasoned, maybe because it was a delivery, the chicken wings were best of all. Went on a Friday Night and ordered when we walked in so expected a bit of a wait but ended up only waiting for 20ish minutes which we didn't mind. We got the pepperoni pizza and spicy bbq wings. Pizza was ok, but would most likely try a different flavor in the future . The wings though? There were so good . We will come back fs to try other wing flavors. Highly recommend the wings !!!

We went to this place at the spur of the moment. We were just getting hungry and saw this place when getting donut and thought that we would try it out. Well let me tell you something, the pizza that we got was beyond amazing. We love visiting ma' and pa' pizza places and this place out beats the others i've had (no disrespect to others). The daily special is amazing and the service was quick and easy. The location of the place really makes it a hole in the wall place. I can't wait till I go to MoVal again just so that I can order some more pizza and take it to the park with my family. MUST TRY!!!

In town for work and being the 49ers game on TV my work crew decided to eat at the hotel and watch the game. So we door dashed pizza from Red Maple. I ordered a Large NY Deluxe Pizza (Pepperoni, mushroom, Canadian bacon, onion, bell peppers, olives and sausage.) Slices were cut big, end up being 3 per person (3 people). Not sure if it was because of door dash and the time it took to get to us or it's normal. The crust was softer than all 3 of us liked, it wasn't piping hot (but then again it could have been door dash). The pizza overall was good with a lot of toppings. With that said it had pineapple as well. We didn't order pineapple nor did it say it in the description. If someone would have had an allergy that would have been horrible. There wasn't a ton, but we all had it on our slices.

Absolute best pizza I've EVER had, Philly cheese steak pizza is amazing, ordered for a friend and I, and now my friend drives from Riverside to get this pizza, owners super nice, always remembers my voice, no matter what number I call from, and remembers what I always order. I beg the owner to let me franchise, Red Maple needs more locations. Try them and you'll never be satisfied with any other pizza place after eating here. read more

A small mom and pops pizza place, but oh man you will never go to a Pizza Hut or Lil. Cesar's again!! No joke man, I ordered a large vegetarian (wife and daughter) and a chicken and mushroom, Best pizza i ever had!! A few weeks later I went back and ordered some of the buffalo wings dude i dont know what these people do with their food but they were perfect! My fav spot in MOOO V. Peace. read more

Wasnt impressed. I had seen this place on Yelp for a few years before i finally went and tried it, but it was disappointing. My order was a little pricey, and definitelt didnt match the quality of the food. My kids were also not impressed with the bread sticks. They prefer little caesars in comparison. Kinda sad. More than likely wont be going back. read more

I have been on a mission to find non-chain pizza places since my family and I have been burnt out on chain establishments that keep raising prices yet skimping on quantity and quality. I enjoy the nearby competition, but the prices have become overwhelming so I finally decided to give this place a try. Amazing pizza...usually I'm all about the toppings, but even the dough is fresh and complements the loads of toppings and cheese! For $13.99 we ordered the Maple specialty pizza with all the trimmings and I was surprised to see jalapenos on the pizza without having to ask...this avoids having to ask for an additional topping for an extra charge. We also ordered the handmade jalapeno poppers, cheese bread, fried chicken and potato wedges. The potato wedges were decent, but like a few of the other reviewers, I do prefer mine on the thinner and crispier side, but the bf absolutely loved them; it's all about preference. The poppers were good, 8 pieces for $4.99. The cheese bread was just melted cheese on their amazing pizza dough...no complaints though! The fried chicken was bland and not crispy so I would not order those again since I am picky when it comes to fried chicken. Another complaint is the bare hint of sauce on the pizza. As I waited for my food, a few of the regular customers asked for extra sauce on their pizza, which means quite a few share this sentiment. At least there was no charge for extra sauce so that is how I will be ordering our pizza from now on. With the added sauce, the pizza will be one of the best I have ever had. My final complaint is the 99 cent charge added on if you use your ATM or credit card; I do not feel the prices are so low that this charge needs to be added...they may want to specify a minimum purchase to avoid the charge since 2 specialty pizzas will be over $30 with tax, which is not cheap. The chain pizza place right across the street is a thing of the past for us now. read more

Wow. My brother ordered from this place, and when we went to pick it up, just from the smell in the car, I knew it was gonna be good. The taste is superb, and I usually scrap the crust when eating pizza, but not that time. The next day my friend had a piece of the leftover, and he said it was the best pizza he ever had. read more

This place is ok. It's not gross but it's nothing special. The potato wedges are pretty oily and soggy but I'm sure they will reheat really well. I probably won't come back but if you're looking for some really cheap pizza, you could do worse. read more

Well, all was well and fine until the driver delivering the pizza ran a stop sign and got pulled over. He said he wouldn't ever deliver to us again (I didn't run the stop sign!). I was nice to him and gave him a good tip too. The food is not bad but the experience hasn't been pleasant at all. read more

Pizza is okay for the price. It's a small mom and pop's place. I like their chicken wings, it's delicious. Their pizzas are 5 dollars for one topping. Extra dollar for more toppings. Overall its ok pizza for a cheap price. read more

Recently ate here when I was in town visiting-- ordered pizza and hot wings--- disappointing. ( Didn't have extra cheese or pepperoni as requested but in their defense I did order thru Grub Hub-- so maybe they missed that part) As I was saying food was less than impressive.. New York Pizza was flavorless , lacked adequate sauce, toppings scarce, it just needed help. Wings were fatty and also unimpressive on several levels. Guy on phone was nice, delivery person was nice and they did include the sauce I asked for on the phone. Id like to say Id try it again... but probably not. $30.00 bucks wasted. read more

This place is great. The dough is amazing. The veggie pizza is excellent. They put a ton of veggies, plus jalapeño and pineapple. The service isn't bad, but it can seem cold. They're just not overly friendly. I like it. It's not over the top. I recommend this place over pizza hut or the other big names. They are also nicely priced. read more

This place is great! Since I only recently moved here, it was a trip to find this place only 3 blocks away. Funny sometimes too. Just called and ordered 2 pizzas (extra large pepperoni and extra large deluxe and was told the extra large deluxe was "too much". I ended up with an extra large pepperoni and settle for a large deluxe. Go figure. Oh, and they do deliver. read more

Worst pizza I've ate in my life. Sorry I'm not sorry. Asked for a well-done pepperoni pizza and what I received was a piece of cardboard with grease and cheese. Pepporoni was not crisp but the crust was solid burnt. How does that happen? I don't usually leave reviews like this, but it was a lazy lousy job of a pizza. read more

Pizza was awesome. Pastrami sandwich left a lot to be desired. It had about 6 strips of pastrami meat. Not like you would get at a burger place where it is stuffed with meat. It that is what you are looking for I would not order the pastrami here. But again the pizza was great and would order here again read more

The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the language barrier. Other then that the pizza is soooo good! Unlike, pizza huts crust that comes frozen Red Maples crust is soooo good and made fresh. Everything from the cheese bread, jalapeño poppers, wings and mozzarella sticks are AMAZING! Does anyone know what their carry out special is? When I ordered last time they gave me a paper with specials on it and it was a good price. I can't find it and don't see it on their menu. Did the prices go up? I don't remember them being $39+

I'm not sure if the prices went up but I think they are pretty expensive!!! I only been there one time. Not too sure if I will return. Too much $$$.

My daughter also complained that every time she orders her pizza over the phone, she doesn't get the pizza on the 15 minute wait time they told her. It happened twice already and they seem to make her order only when she arrives to pick it up. She was really disappointed waiting another 15-20 minutes in the parking lot.

We ordered a large one topping (pepperoni) for 17 dollars and change with tax. The price is high, but that's okay, we are expecting a homemade pizza that tastes better than Little Caesar's or Dominoes. We came back in 15 minutes and it was ready. Pizza: Crust was thin, but not at all in a "delicious-crispy-pizza-oven-crust-kind-of-way". The dough was dense and extremely rubbery and hard to chew. I think the dough was either old, poorly made with wrong flour to water ratios, or very over-proofed. Sauce: not very much of it, not very flavorful. Hard to taste. Cheese: not much at all. Several pieces seem to have no cheese in the middle or top, just wet dough. Pepperoni: okay tasting, lots of it, very greasy Bake: Very over-baked to the point of blackness. I'm pretty bummed. I want to ask them to remake it and give them another try, but if the dough is the same, I'm not sure it's worth it? I'm sorry to say, but LIttle Caesar's Pizza is way better than this. And that's not saying much.

It's cute inside... lots of horror decor and dark. The pizza was really good and comes in the cutest Ouija board pizza boxes. They do offer a gluten free crust but only on the personal sized pizzas.

A Local Gem Worth Supporting I recently placed an order for a large pepperoni pizza online through Yelp. Red Maple Pizza is a small, mom-and-pop, pick-up-only spot, and it has all the charm you would hope for. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was checked in quickly and was even given a helpful tip that placing orders by phone next time would save me a little money. I really appreciated that extra bit of honesty. Although my order took a little longer than the quoted time, the staff made sure to acknowledge the delay and gave me a side of breadsticks as a thank-you for waiting. It was a small gesture that made a big difference in the overall experience. The food itself was fantastic. The pizza had a great balance -- not overly doughy, with plenty of cheese that delivered a satisfying cheese pull on every slice. The garlic breadsticks were just as good, with the perfect amount of garlic and Parmesan. I can't wait to go back and try more from their menu, including the fried chicken, potato wedges, wings, and subs. Called and asked for pricing as I ordered. I was quoted $14.99 per medium pizza (3 toppings). I was over charged $15 for extra toppings and "delivery pricing", a delivery fee and payment fee. The ONLY fee I was told about and authorized was a $5.99 delivery fee. I was not told it would be a different price for delivery or that I would be charged a "payment fee". I called and asked about the extra fees. He tried telling me that I ordered extra toppings. 1 pizza was 3 toppings, 1 pizza was 2 toppings and 1 pizza was 1 topping. None of the pizzas were over 3 toppings. I asked for them to honor the price and was told it's because his employee does not know the correct price. Was not a pleasant experience and I find it extremely unprofessional that they are not honoring the original price. Very disappointing after years of being loyal customers. read more

Tried out this mom-and-pop pizza spot and it did not disappoint! The pizza was delicious, and the potato wedges were huge, crispy, and full of flavor. They are a little on the pricey side, but once you see the size and taste them, you'll get it. My order only took about 15 minutes, which is a great wait time, and the customer service was excellent.
