Yet here at Birmingham Airport, I was greeted by a friendly young man who took good care of me and all the guests lucky enough to meet him this morning at 4:30 am. I ordered eggs over easy, bacon and buttered biscuits. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the biscuit was perfect. The potatoes were deep fried and not my favorite way of enjoying home fried, griddle fried potatoes. I was disappointed to see that I had to order on a QR code given that this is a smaller airport. Unfortunately, the experience didn't improve after my food arrived. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, which was pretty average - chicken, cheddar, scallions, and tomatoes with sour cream and salsa on the side. For $18, I expected better quality ingredients (or maybe more options within the quesadilla). With just a fountain soda, it was a $30 meal after tip that just didn't deliver that experience. What a bag of mixed reviews. I thought this place was fine. Expensive yes, but that is to be expected at an airport. There was a sign that said to seat yourself. It was clear and easy to order from the QR code on the table. A server came up to make sure the ordering process went well. I got my Wedge Salad with grilled chicken and an order of fries and diet coke in a timely manner. It was all good. I was really impressed with the salad. It wasn't lacking for anything and the biscuit croutons were so good. The side order of fries was large and tasty. I enjoyed my experience here. Insane! DO NOT COME HERE. Maybe it's my California standard, but I could not believe how terrible the service is here. Waited an hour for our food; a pre-made salad, quesadilla, and French fries. Dang, one and a half stars is diabolical? My BLT was delicious and delivered within ten min. I would've appreciated whole, less crispy bacon but it was good. Coming in, sit anywhere but that wasn't evident! Maybe get a sign! I sat right near the entrance at a two seat table as I was alone. I had a delayed flight out of Birmingham and wanted to sit and eat. The only place close near my gate was this spot. It has a nice vibe. Overlooks the planes at gate B1 b3. I was a little leery so I asked my server her favorite meal and she recommended the chicken sandwich. It has good flavor and the sandwich has 2 chicken breasts; the curly fries were very good. I ordered the classic burger cooked medium. It arrived cooked well done, the fries were cold and rubbery rather than crispy and hot as if they were freshed cooked. The waitress took my drink order directly as opposed to ordering from the scan menu. She didn't give me any choice as to the size of beer, decided to charge me for the most expensive beer, and when I questioned her as to why I was not provided a choice, she lied and stated that there is only 1 size that the beer is served in and has been that way for months. This was quickly debunked by the manager, who confirmed that not only was the beer I ordered offered in two sizes as the menu state's, she also confirmed that they wmdid have both sizes for purchase, also confirming that my waitresses lied to me and knowingly attempted to overcharge me. Watch your bill!! I sat at a long table by myself and another party came in later and sat at the other end. To order your food you scan a QR code. When I finished my debit card was processed and I left. The other party scanned the same QR code AFTER I LEFT and my debit card was charged for their meal! They have no phone number and no way to reach them. I'm disputing the charge with my bank but, as of right now, I'm out the money. This place is a real problem. No sign saying seat yourself so waited 5 minutes at a host station before sitting at a yet to be cleaned table. Waited 10 minutes for them to clean the table. App wouldn't open up so not able to order remotely as required, and waited another 10 minutes before being helped. Food was iffy at best. They suffer from being a near monopoly and I'm sure no one really cares at the amount of 1 star reviews this place gets. read more

I arrived at the Birmingham, AL airport about 3 hours before my flight departure. I was look for a good old fashioned hamburger and to my surprise Red Mountain was to my satisfaction. The meal came with curly fries which were good too. The restaurant was packed but it did not hinder my server or the excellent service he provided. I gave a 4 star rating because it was very cold where we sat in the restaurant which made it a little uncomfortable to sit and enjoy my meal.
