Then she again worked with me after I hit menopause, for more adjustments. I feel great, feel like myself again! It is worth the process, but may take a few rounds of checking your bloodwork (my insurance covered lab work), but have patience with the process. And be sure to tell Dr M ALL your symptoms, for me, anxiety was a huge one that my levels weren't quite right. Dr M can only help you FULLY if you're honest with ALL your symptoms! There is no shame in sharing everything! Please read the book by Suzanne Somers, "I'm too Young for This," all about perimenopause and menopause. I would have never associated my increased anxiety with hormone changes if it weren't for that book! And that book's Forever Health website led me to Dr Maturo.

I gained a ton of weight from a medicine I was on and just felt like garbage! Now, I can feel myself getting back to normal, which is great! I am always seen on time and feel like I am a priority to them. Both the doctor and her staff answer whatever questions I have (in great detail!) and are kind, supportive and helpful! There is also the cutest, most well behaved rescue dog on site, which is really quite wonderful! :) Whether I am there to see the doctor, or just the MA, I never feel rushed, nor do I ever sit and wait to be seen. They treat me with the utmost care and concern; going to Maturo Medical is one of the best decisions I have ever made, in regards to my health and well being.

Between the initial office visit and one set of labs, I've already spent over $1,000. I was told the labs would "usually come back fairly reasonable" through insurance, but $725 is far from reasonable. I was also told there was a cash-pay option of $900, which is equally concerning. I'm not sure what standard of "reasonable" this clinic is using, because these costs feel excessive and out of reach for many people. It gave me the impression that this practice may only be accessible to those for whom cost isn't a concern. Additionally, my experience during the in-office lab draw was concerning. The staff member who attempted it seemed very inexperienced, she removed the tourniquet before even attempting to insert the needle and then tried to reposition the needle after insertion. Another staff member had to step in and was able to draw the labs immediately without any issues, which was frustrating given that I've been told I have easy veins. On top of that, I would have had to pay another $219 out of pocket for a follow-up lab review that was supposed to happen within 7-10 days, but the earliest available appointment was a month out. At that point, I decided to cancel and take it as a sign. I would not return and cannot recommend this clinic. I would hate for someone else to end up in the same position, especially when you're already not feeling well and just trying to find answers, only to be left with an unexpected financial burden on top of it.

All programs accustomed to the individual because there is no one size fits all program I started this weight-loss journey not being able to walk to the mailbox. I now walk 3 miles a day You learn how to eat properly, and why skipping meals is not a good idea. You learn about eating out in restaurants you learn, why sleep is so important getting the weight off. There is also a group meeting which is conducted via Zoom, where you can talk about your achievements and goals, but also maybe problem solved with what is not working for you and other people can tell you maybe what has worked for them. This just the start of your weight loss journey maintaining it is going to be your lifelong challenge. And once you get to your goal weight, they follow you and help you for three years after. I can't say enough great things about this program, if you've tried everything and you're seeing this message, this is the right place to be

TLDR: The overall experience felt less like personalized medical weight management and more like a…read morevery expensive timeshare presentation with illiterate and excessive intake forms, a 15 minute in-room PR video, and "customized plans" of powder packet "meal replacements" ---- I paid $125 for one appointment: a $45 copay, $48 to stand on an ancient-looking body composition scale, and $32 for a small box of tiny powder "meals" that tasted like tortilla-soup-flavored bathwater and left me immediately hungry. The intake materials and texts were excessive, outdated, and full of typos. just one example is the appointment reminder text said patients are required to wear masks, which--in 2026--i thought odd, and sure enough, not one mask was in sight; how have they not updated their text notification since Covid?? Whoever put the paperwork together is not fluent in English and lacks basic word processing skills. A week before my appointment, I had to fill out a set of intake forms that had a ton of typos, many repeated questions, and dedicated space for 35 medications, requiring infinite scrolling to proceed. I had to fill out another set of intake forms the day of my appointment with even more typos. They also call and text from several different numbers. Why?? When I got there right on time for my appointment, the front desk person was helping another patient for 15 minutes before she acknowledged me, another patient who got there before me, and another patient on the other side of the counter trying to buy products. After about 20 mins, I finally go back to an exam room and was left there to watch a 15 minute video sales pitch of outdated looking slides with the doctor's voiceover!! Then the med assistant came back and presented a ridiculous packet of paperwork which she read to me word by word and highlighted almost every word on each page with a pink marker. She told me weekly Zoom meetings are REQUIRED and vaguely described meal replacement packages. It was all weird as hell and I felt like I was at a timeshare presentation. Then a nutritionist came in. She launched into generic Diet Culture 101 without ever asking me about my nutrition and exercise habits. She was kind and knowledgeable, but I've been dieting and exercising since the 90s and don't need CICO and "starvation mode" explained to me. I tell her the various things I've tried and asked her what if the plan doesn't work, because I have tried everything to lose weight and it never works. She said she can't control what I do or eat, but she can try to hold me accountable. To me this felt like she hadn't believed me when I said I eat very well, not too much, watch my macros, and exercise daily already. The doctor was ok, but spent less than 2 minutes with me. Then I agreed to the body comp machine. I've used one before at a naturopathic office and it was super cool so I agreed. This machine was not high-tech at all. It was incredibly outdated and I highly doubt there's any accuracy to the results. Why on earth did I pay $45 for this?? I'm supposed to get labs and come back in two weeks for my customized plan which might include prescription weight loss medication. They do bill insurance but I've been hearing all over that insurance is simply not covering weight loss meds unless you're on Medicare. Back at the front desk, the girl was still overwhelmed with lots of competing patients, but she took time to help me put together a box of powdered packets (I have no idea why I gave into this after seeing they are tiny things of powder ! I thought they must be really innovative. I ate one as soon as I got home and it was disgusting!) She asked if she could text me my lab order which I agreed to. She never did.

Solaris has been a vital part of staying healthy and functioning at my best, and I appreciate clear and consistent communication who I can always depend on to give me a proper plan of action. I feel so grateful to have found this clinic because there's nothing worse than a lingering issue, that has been coated but never fully treated. There's no "bandaids" or temporary solutions here, longevity and having you back to feeling your best is their focus and there's no doctor I trust more than Dr. Ken and his staff.

I came here for help with perimenopause symptoms I had been experiencing. During my initial blood work review, I mentioned to Dr. Kenneth McWilliams that I had discussed my results with a trusted RN friend who specializes in hormone therapy and perimenopause care. Because she is licensed in another state, she was unable to treat me, but she helped me better understand my lab work. I was not questioning Dr. Kenneth McWilliams expertise; I simply wanted to compare and confirm recommendations. However, the he seemed offended and emphasized that he had been doing this for more than 20 years. I was also taking notes during the appointment because I am not a healthcare professional and wanted to remember and understand everything we discussed. At one point, I was jokingly asked if I was a "spy from another office," which made me feel uncomfortable and dismissed for being engaged in my own health. We ultimately agreed on a treatment plan, which included starting liothyronine despite my thyroid levels already being within the normal range, to optimize it. About a month later, I began experiencing unwanted side effects and reached out to the office seeking guidance. I left messages and did not receive a response for the remainder of the day. I called again the next morning, left another voicemail, and still received no response. When I followed up a few hours later, I was told they had been busy. I understand that medical offices can have hectic days, but when a patient is experiencing side effects from a prescribed medication, timely communication matters. Even a quick acknowledgment or reassurance would have gone a long way. For a practice that focuses on optimizing health and wellness, I expected a higher level of responsiveness and patient care. I did not feel supported nor cared for when I needed help, and because of that I will be seeking care elsewhere.

I was going out of town for an extended time period, I probably shouldn't have tried a new medication right before leaving BUT I did! They were awesome. Amy was very much in contact with me and made sure I had all I needed before leaving and remembered when I was coming back so had the shipment arrive perfectly for my return. Not to mention following up a few times on my trip to make sure I was good and no side effects. Dr Knightin himself had reached out. You're not just another patient they are trying to rip off and upsale you. It's very much a relationship that they listen to what you want & are trying to accomplish. They cater to your needs and what works for you. If it doesn't seem to be working they do figure out what YOU need to be successful. I think some of the newest drugs available out there can be scams. I know people in the medical industry that are using newer weight loss drugs as the newest get rich quick by supplying not great meds, very convenient & easy, pricey but because it's so easy it's a trade off, along with not caring about the health of the patient. I know what I'm getting from Dr Knightin is the real deal. It's a drive for me but worth the time and money for real authentic care for my health and safely assisting me with my weight loss goals. It's really a lifelong journey for a lot of us and it's so refreshing to know you have a team that's dedicated to helping you for the long haul.

I have done the RM3 program more than once and am now on their new program (Revolex) for Semaglutide. The office has always been super friendly and clean. I think for those that are upset about the program, depending on what you pick depends on the recommendation. With RM3 you will have an extreme calorie restricted diet, I can confirm it works if you follow it and I can confirm that it is below the recommended standards of 1200 calories a day but varies depending on your current weight. I decided to try the new Revolex plan because I enjoy working out and other healthy stuff I've already incorporated into my life, and this plan allows me to do those (RM3 restricts exercise because of calorie restrictions being so extreme). I am 2 1/2 weeks in on the new plan and have lost 11lbs, but this includes exercising at least 5 times a week, and eating healthy. I am sure I would've lost more but I have gone slightly off the meal plan (which is low carb) because I use oat milk for my coffee and occasionally eat multi-grain toast with breakfast. You also have to be honest with yourself, did the program really NOT work? Or did you not track your foods properly or drink enough fluids/exercise as recommended? Given that I've done two programs and seen results with both, I'd say personal accountability is lacking in some reviews. My husband has also done a different program than the two I did and saw great results (his included carbs btw!). I can't speak to the virtual visits but do agree the wait times for seeing a provider can be a bit long, however, they don't seem any longer than a normal doctor's office and the providers have actually read my chart before entering the room which is a nice change from regular doctor's offices.
