I tried Red Nails for the first time today -- I have been looking for a new nail salon because I was not impressed at all with my former nail salons Covid precautions. Red Nails came HIGHLY recommended in my Waltham Moms group on Facebook. I got a dip mani & pedicure. Michelle did a fabulous job! Best pedicure Ive ever had! They are taking every precaution. Hand sanitizer, temp, name & phone number, plexi glass and cleaning of stations after every use. I also joined their membership program and booked my next appt before I left. read more

The worse nail salon I have ever been in my life. I just moved to the area and needed to find a new place for my nails/feet. I got a gel pedicure and it didn't last more than 4 days. the service isn't the worse but not worth the price. I am so disappointed. I spent 120$ for my feet to not last! The first time I was there a lady did my nails. I got a regular kids pedicure and manicure. When she pushed my cuticles down she made me gush out blood. She didn't even wipe the blood off my finger. She put on the nail polish and got the blood mixed in. I wanted a light blue for my hand but she gave me a dark blue. The dark blue mixed in with the blood and the coler was the worst color I ever saw. When she did toes she painted my toenails but got most of the nail polish on my skin instead of my toenail. She dried my nails she smudged my fingernails and my toenails. I will never go there again. Do not recommend. If I could rate it 0 star I would. read more

I had gel on and it took them a good 30 mins to remove them. I've had better experiences elsewhere, where they use a gel remover acetone and it only takes a couple of minutes to remove the gel without using the drill. read more

This was the the third time at Red Nails. It has taken me 7 years to find a spot that is friendly, clean, with great nail technicians. I am very particular with my nails and they did a good job, but not sure why they rotate personnel? I absolutely loved Michelle who was my favorite technician. I have small hands and she put a nice arch on the nail with the UV Gel set. Today the technician I had was good, but not the same. On top of that, please pair me with someone who can understand what I am requesting. Those would be my only complaints other than that, it's a great place to get your nails done. Charged an extra 15 bucks to get dead skin off my feet. That usually is part of a pedicure. They lost my business.

Been going to Red Nails for the past year always get great service with Jack and Jackie went in on Sunday to get a mani pedi and got a new girl, she was very sweet but she did not know what she was doing nd then we sit down to do the pedicure and there was no soaking of the nails she just filed them and painted them and my total came to 120.00 I called the salon to speak to the male manager who was very rude did not care about my concerns i asked him to cancel my next appointment since i was not satified with the service , He doesn't say anything and hangs up on me. I will NEVER go back or recommend this place to my friends. read more

Honestly came here to relax and enjoy a well deserved pedicure but instead I got a rushed, tough, not relaxing one. The guy was so beyond rude and was using tools with way too much pressure and didn't even care. Then I realized one toe was missing polish and asked him politely to fix it and he took off the entire paint job with an attitude and started over and didn't massage me at all or use scrubs. My daughters and I went last sat to get mani pedi . My granddaughter came and got the best deal . They pushed for u to do the more expensive pedi ,it was a birthday gift to me and I didn't want them spending a lot on me, I choose just the simple basic. Well I had the most rushed job ever. My daughters said the same thing not friendly and I had surgery on my back and couldn't bend to take paper off my toes. I will never go back there . My daughters paid a small fortune. read more

I've been to many nail spas in Waltham and this place is by far the best. I got a spa pedicure and I've never been so relaxed in my life. The place is very clean and not overwhelmed with people chatting like other places. The staff are very pleasant-easy to communicate with and they don't push extra services. It's been truly a wonderful experience. I hesitate to tell you the name of my technician because I know he will be booked solid!! read more

This nail salon opened in my neighborhood i went to support local business what a mistake PLEASE DONT GO HERE They take temp but they dont clean after person leaves and the nail tech cant speak english i went for a fill in they said 35 then when i went to pay it qas over fifty They explained that it was the polish she used i would of liked to pick if i wanted gel polish or reg and and nail tech never looked up once the whole time and she cut my skin over 6 times w file I was so upset being over charged The manager said it is what it is and as i was there 3 customers walked out I should of seen that as RED FLAG People were coming in that had appts and were told sorry we are too busy Plz people theres so many around dont go here they are greety and dont clean after at all read more

I don't usually leave a lot of reviews but I really enjoyed my experience here! I noticed the salon while driving past the River St plaza and decided to give it a try. I am always hesitant trying new salons especially since I haven't found a quality nail salon in Waltham after living here for 3 years. This place exceeded expectations! I think my tech's name was Michelle - she was so sweet, gentle, and professional. The salon is very very clean - hand sanitizer and temp check upon arrival, they have extra masks if you need one, and they had the door open for ventilation. I got a basic pedicure and gel manicure. They used a disposable foot file during my pedicure which I really liked and manicure includes a shoulder massage if you wish. My nails and toes are all filed and painted to perfection. I joined their membership program and will come here as my go-to nail salon going forward! read more

I went to Red Nails because I was unhappy with the lack of safety precautions at a former salon. I got a dip in the color I wanted. One week later it is as perfect as the day they were done. Ryan did a great job he offered a shoulder/neck massage and gave me a paraffin wrap using single use gloves. They were very clean and had me wait outside until they were ready. They also gave me a new mask as I left. My priority is safety not beauty and I got both. I have friends who will be trying them for their next manicure. read more
