There are three things that can't be stressed (I'm a good way) enough about this restaurant: Atmosphere Friendliness, Deliciousness! Finding quality restaurants in Midland / Odessa can be challenging to say the least and when you find one that meets all three qualities you have to recognize it! We had the crab cakes which were delightful and in a perfect Dijon sauce. The Mac and cheese was downright sinful and the steak melted in your mouth! The trio dip is a great way to kick it off as well! We will most definitely be back to try the brunch!!! read more

My husband was too mad to leave a review. First we waited for a good while to be waited on. Finally got drinks (yes drinks only) unsweetened tea & coffee. Had to ask for a menu. Atmosphere and vibe is top tier.. started off with an appetizer called crispy rock shrimp, it didn't stand a chance it was sooo good! My main meal was the Prime Rib Quesadilla's, I didn't regret it ! Brunch Review. Service was great. Super nice people. I got the prime rib hash and it was ok, but not much flavor and was small. There were no sides, and for $14, toast or a biscuit would have been nice. My wife's chicken and waffles looked delicious and was big enough. I think it had way more flavor than my hash. Great breakfast spot! What a charming little kitchen in Odessa. Nice variety, great service and ambiance. My husband and I both ordered the huevos rancheros (we are connoisseurs) and it was delicious! There's so much wrong that I don't know where to start. First of all, they have zero details on their menu as to what you're getting. For example, they had 'Paloma' on the cocktail menu. Traditionally that is grapefruit juice with tequila. Some people use grapefruit soda. I actually like a combination of the two. So, these guys use pomegranate liquor and the cheapest crap tequila on the market, Juarez. Who tries to be high end and leading edge culinary contenders but uses crap liquor. For $10 that is a complete ripoff. For you to get an agave tequila it is minimum $15. That's Maui type prices....IN ODESSA. Then, I order the nachos. Once again, nothing of description. It comes out with mayonnaise on top. Who on the F puts mayonnaise on nachos. Once I start eating the nachos I realize the chips are chewy af. I assumed stale but the manager told me that they cook them daily and they must be under cooked. That makes sense but they were terrible. The nachos were also horribly bland...perfect for mayonnaise. Beans had no flavor, chicken had no flavor....and then there was mayonnaise! They were actually the worst nachos I can remember ever eating. My jaws ached like I ate a big bag of beef jerky because of how chewy the chips were. I only ate about half of my order and noped out on the rest. The manager was nice enough to to knock 50% off even though I didn't ask for that. I feel bad leaving a bad review for that reason but I can't take bribes in good conscience knowing that their 4 1/2 stars is a farce. This was wonderful. We were going for cork and pig, but it was a 35 minute wait. They suggested Red Oak. They steered us right. Terrific atmosphere. Great food. Even better wine. Do not let the pictures fool you. Food taste is lacking. We had the trio dip....standard guac, decent pimento cheese, and smoked trout dip was a salt bomb. Then we had the deviled eggs.....standard run of the mill potluck office party deviled eggs. Next was the Cesar salad......okish...lots of mustard/vinegar in the dressing......next... I ordered the 29$ crab cakes.....old, cheap, canned crab or at least VERY smelly crab. My lunch mates both ordered rotisserie chicken....both chicken dishes were over cooked. Seasoned well but dry like jerky....one guy had mashed potatoes that were really good just dry....the other guy had a roasted acorn squash and it was absolutely amazing. Cork and Pig is my favorite restaurant in Midland/Odessa so my husband and I decided to give its sister restaurant a a try for breakfast. So glad we did! Excellent service, excellent food, and a cozy ambience. We've been twice in one week and we live about 30 minutes away if that says anything about its quality. We've had the chicken and waffles and prime rib hash and both were so good (we basically inhaled them as soon as they came out from the kitchen). The vanilla latte was definitely worth the $4.50 as well. One of my favorite things about CPT Market and Cork and Pig is the cozy feel and smell from the wood fire oven. We came on a Saturday around 10 and there was plenty of seating, which is a major plus in this town (so obviously the secret isn't out yet). The prices are also fairly reasonable for the quality and quantity of food (especially for Midland/Odessa). read more

This place was so good. Me and my boyfriend have been trying to find an amazing breakfast place. And this place is tucked away which seems like people don't know about but can I just say this place is the cutest reminded us of back home in California. Food was on point you would think at first it wasn't enough to fill you but it was more than enough like we are so stuffed right now. All the waiters were amazing and nice made sure your glass was always full. Which is usually the problem we have finding a restaurant near us. I would say if you come for brunch get there Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Prime Rib Hash. So amazing!!!!! read more

A casual, more hidden version of cork & pig with a nice covered patio and also loft seating. Berry mojito is the best, paired with trio dip and fish tacos! Simple menu but everything on it is well thought out and always delicious. Pizzas are great and you can see them being cooked in their pizza oven. Took several tries for someone to even pick up the phone - once picked up, it must have been too loud on their end and had difficulty communicating my order (though I could hear them fine). Baja fish tacos were subpar. Fish was overcooked and the extras for the taco were miniscule. Prime rib was good, though portion size was lacking - though this may be because they didn't forgot the side with the item. Not only did I have to repeat what I wanted for the side 5 times because they couldn't hear, the fact that they charge a carryout fee (both Red Oak and their sister restaurant Cork & Pig do this) and screw up the order is unacceptable. read more

I had Sunday Brunch with a friend during the COVID pandemic. Our server wore her mask properly the entire time we were there and we were seated outdoors with diners far enough away from one another to be safe. The chicken & waffles had a good flavor but the waffle was cold as if it wasn't fresh. I'd've preferred a bit more heat to the chicken or an option to make it spicy but it was still good. To start off we ordered the trio dip, which had a scoop of guacamole, a scoop of pimento cheese dip, & a scoop of smoked trout dip. They were good but my favorite is the pimento dip. For our entrees my husband had the New Mexico burger with a fried egg & I had the Ahi Tuna Salad. My husband's burger looked good but the Ahi Tuna Salad was absolute heaven.
