Perfect spot for a casual date night or catching a game while enjoying their great drink specials. We started with potato skins which were lacking a a bit of flavor, but if you dunk them into their seasoned sour cream? Game changer. For my entree, I tried the new whiskey BBQ burger. It was good, but felt like it could use a touch more BBQ sauce. I will admit I stepped out of my usual comfort zone this time and tried a couple new items, which may have affected my experience, but hey gotta live a little, right? Other than that service was excellent as always, and we definitely made the most of happy hour. Between great food, even better drink deals, and a fun sports bar atmosphere, Champps is still a top pick of mine in Eden Prairie. Highly recommend!!

It has such a lively, sports bar vibe and is a great place to socialize. Their happy hour prices are hard to beat and they have good variety on their happy hour food and drink menus. He even talked us into coming back for brunch -- and honestly, we probably will. Cocktails? Delicious. Food? Even better. We started with the cauliflower, which was packed with flavor. I had the shrimp and scallops pasta -- buttery, rich, and both the shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly. My husband got the steak, and wow... every single thing on that plate was amazing. The potatoes were the star, but truly, every bite bursted with flavor. Such a great time. We'll definitely be back!

Back to Pink Ivy. The service is quality. Our reserved table was ready when we arrived. The reservation policy may seem "strict", but if you can live with needing to provide a 24 cancel notice, I think you will find the service is good because the business doesn't get slammed by unexpected high demand. Wait person timing was off a tad when we first sat down. It felt a little rushed as we order our drinks and considered a starter. In fairness, a table of 16-20 followed us in so the wait person may have been doing us a favor. But it did influence my four star rating. Otherwise I'd have given 5 stars. Great care was taken when wait person checked for allergies. Not just asked, but noted and went to the kitchen to confirm. During the meal, flatware was changed out between courses, water refilled without disruption and the order arrived on time and all at one time. Our group enjoyed the halibut, salmon, and chicken bacon meatball items. Everyone loved their meals. A few of us ordered and split salads. We passed on desserts. The menu range may not be pages long, but all the usual suspects are there; salads, fish, poultry, beef, and pasta. And I know the chef rotates items on the menu. I encourage you to plan ahead. Reservations fill up days in advance. I think you'll find it worth the extra planning. PS my ratings are adjusted for the type of venue. These are not Michelin stars.

I had a birthday reward club gift certificate for $50. However, there was bit of a kerfuffle because my phone number was not in their system (only my email address) and it took the waitress and manager some time to get that straightened out (more about that later). My wife ordered from the Happy Hour menu (available until 6 pm) and she had the Chicken Fried Rice ($6), Chicken Satay ($3), and the Potstickers ($9). She also had the Kona Big Wave beer ($3 Happy Hour price). These are pretty good prices (her beer was less than my soda!).If you look at the photos, you will notice that the dishes are well presented and look great (very Instragramable). However, I wish they tasted as good as it looked. According to her, the chicken satay was a small portion and was dry as shoe leather. The potstickers were "OK" and the fried rice was overly salty. Her overall comment was "Mid, not much flavor, too salty, too dry." One bright spot was that the Kona Beer was fresh and crisp. I ordered the Sweet-Chili Glazed Salmon which comes with fried rice ($37) as well as the Happy Hour Spicy Shrimp Tempura ($9). The salmon, although flakey, was overcooked, dry and surprisingly bland despite the Chili Graze. To me, it tasted like school cafeteria fish and the only seasoning I tasted was salt -- lots of salt. The fried rice was mushy and tasted like Uncle Bens Instant Rice. It was not well prepared. The tempura shrimp were plentiful and look good in my photo, but they were terrible. The "tempura" batter tasted like they had been over-dipped in flour (tempura should be a very light coating), and there was absolutely no crispiness at all. They also were bland, and hardly edible. The bill at the end did not include any discount for my birthday certificate (despite all of the kerfuffle with the manager) and I was double-charged for my soda, so both of those issues had to be corrected. To add insult to injury, Open Table informed me that the restaurant said that I was a no-show and I had to explain to Open Table that we indeed showed up and ate there at the exact time of the reservation. Kona strikes me as one of those places that is good for groups and perhaps people who like places and food that look good, but are less concerned about how it tastes. Kona Grill is owned by the same company that owns Benihana. There are a lot of similarities, except that the quality of food is generally better at Benihana and there is no smoking volcano.

They are strictly open for lunch 12-2 located on the first floor of an office building. Therefore, it gets very busy and loud in there for the lunch rush. They were very fast and efficient though. First time coming here I felt a little confused at how to order. If you can read signs then you will be just fine and can figure it out. They have the left side for ordering hoagies and they have the right side for ordering salads. They wood fire the pizzas and sandwiches and looked really good. I tried the oriental chicken salad and it was very tasty! You get huge portions for a great price. All ingredients seemed so fresh too! I was a little confused on the parking situation and may have parked in the wrong area. I parked where it said delivery's only but hey I didnt get towed. I was in and out in about ten minutes.

Beckett's in uptown and Meteor Bar in Northeast are great examples of bars, both with food, that consistently go later no matter what. granted they are both in Minneapolis, so different customer base. come here, support this local establishment! they are good, just not great though they could be!! p.s. yes i am writing this from the bar, and just an update: my bill confirmed their happy hour is NOT running tonight. :/ granted the bartender never said there was happy hour and those menus weren't out, so i suspected as much. but i came for the happy hour, including food, and got neither. first world problems for sure!

The waitress informed us that the menu would be changing soon! Looking forward to seeing what other delicious options they can come up with! I will say, I tried the crab dip and it just tasted too fishy... and I love seafood! The food here overall surprised us though, we definitely thought it wasn't going to be that great for a mini golf place! We were wrong! As for golfing here, WHAT A BLAST! We did all 4 courses! That took us about 2 hours during a time where it was not busy. The great news about this place is you do not need to play the holes in order! Heck, the people in your party don't have to play in order either! So if someone is in the bathroom, just keep going! Everyone is assigned a ball and the ball keeps track of your score! This place is beautiful! It is well maintained! The service here was decent. No one seemed to be going out of their way and they all just looked bored...may be because it was a slow night?
