    Yummy drinks

Great service, good vibes and yummy food and drinks. A group of 10 of us came in for happy hour and had a great time! We actually tried to get into the Side Car next door, but they couldn't fit us all and asked us to come here. Highly recommend the Tenderlion Bites If you love cremini mushrooms, crispy onions and teriyaki glaze as much as I do. It was a bit pricey at $17 but it was delicious. I really love coming here in the summer when they open up the windows that function like garage doors.

Juicy Lucy (Burger of the Moment), hamburger in background

Coworker friend and I had Saturday night drinks and dinner here before a show next door. Street parking is tough when it's busy, but we luckily found a spot in the lot across the street. We were greeted by the hostess and got our names on the list. Had a short 10 minute wait next to the bartop. Just enough time to get a drink placed with the bartender and a sip or two down before a table was available. There were so many good things on the menu, and reviews here on Yelp. I decided on the Burger of the Moment: the Juicy Lucy. Omgosh... Top 5 hamburger I've ever had. The cheese was melted perfectly. My mouth did not get 3rd degree burns. And the bun was toasted yet soft on the outside. Fries were perfect too. Friend is a light eater and requested a kids hamburger (smaller patty). She says it was tasty but was disappointed it didn't come with a fixing (lettuce, tomato). An accidental assumption, misunderstanding. Waittress was friendly and quick with food delivery and bill. Private one room bathroom. Clean and stocked. Great ambiance in both bar area and dining room.

Cool old timey bar. Burger and fries were good. Jalepeno cheese pretzels were good as well. Service a little slow.

    Mediterranean gyro

I visited Town Hall Tap on a Friday evening with 3 other people. As far as I could tell there was only street parking which is fine. We got a table easily which I always love! I got the orange blossom cocktail and I highly recommend this drink if you enjoy fruity cocktails! I ordered the Mediterranean gyro and it was the most disappointing gyro. The meat was not cut like gyro meat and it was incredibly dry. There was maybe one slice of tomato on the gyro. I also asked for no onions and still ended up with onions on my gyro, not the best. Two of my friends ordered the Burger of the Moment. This burger was a "surf and turf" style burger. As it was a spontaneous choice to choose the Burger of the Month, it just wasn't a great burger. The patty was overdone and dry. The shrimp with the Cajun flavor did not work well with the burger. However, it is important to keep in mind that this was the Burger of the Moment so hopefully it will not be on the menu for long. My friend who ordered a salad, enjoyed the dish but it is difficult to mess up a salad. I gave this restaurant 3 stars because our waiter was very nice and attentive & the atmosphere was enjoyable. However, at the end of the day I will not be coming back to this restaurant. I came to this restaurant to enjoy a tasty meal with friends and I was beyond disappointed with the food.

    Cheese curds & Fried pickles

Just went here for the first time and there was no parking lot however the street parking was easy to find. I really loved the chicken tenders and fries. My friends and I also split the cheese curds and fried pickles and they were good too, however I personally prefer my fried pickles without cream cheese. Our server was very nice and attentive as well. Will be back soon.

Just decided to give it a try since we needed to kill some time and so glad we did. WOW! The service is excellent, super friendly and had zero problems getting samples of beer since we didn't know what we wanted. The food was amazing and so fresh. We got one of thier burgers and it was one of the juiciest burgers I've had in a long time. The ambience is super cute and reminds me of Wi. :) I wish we lived closer so we could come here more, as I feel we could easily become a regular here. But we will for sure be back! Oh and the brunch on weekends has $2.75 Mimosas till 11, how can you go wrong.

Pulled pork sandwich with a side of chicken vegetable soup

I found Town Hall Tap on Yelp and wanted to give it a try. Not only do they serve their own beer, but they also have a full bar and I get to drink wine while my BF drinks his beer. The restaurant has a really cozy feel which must be nice during one of those long Minnesota winters. It's a little on the dark side but I did not mind. We were seated right away in a booth and the server was with us right away. We ordered our drinks and we each ordered food. I went light with a house salad and grilled chicken; the BF went with the pulled pork and instead of fries, he ordered the soup of the day. I really liked the salad and for a measly $3, I got a HUGE piece of chicken on top of my salad. The vinaigrette was housemade and well seasoned. The pulled pork sandwich? Well, I think he ate it in about four bites and said it was absolutely delicious. I tried his soup and neither of us was that gung-ho on it. It was chicken with vegetables, kale and couscous. Sounded delicious. Was very bland and he did not finish it. I would definitely go back to the restaurant. As we were waiting for the bill, I saw a server walk by us with an order of the cheese curds. OMG they looked so good. Maybe that will be the appetizer we start with next time.

The hostess was extremely unfriendly and seemed very unhappy. She played the game and greeted us, but never once made eye contact, said "welcome in", "thank you for coming in" or anything else that would make a customer feel like they were appreciated for coming in. From the time we walked in to the time she showed us to our table, I said "thank you so much" three times and not once was even acknowledged or replied back with a "you're welcome". She should really find something else to do if she's not going to be a "host". Serving people should be the greatest pleasure we have when engaging with those we don't know. Patrick on the other hand was truly awesome. Friendly, smiling, engaged in conversation prior to taking our order and just seemed happy to talk to us. We told him we were from Nevada and were only there because of a recommendation from a couple in an elevator! He thought that was just awesome. Food arrived and everything was really good. The hash browns were WAY overcooked, almost burnt, but that was the only negative thing to say about the food. It was otherwise delicious! I would strongly suggest this place for breakfast. The menu is really good, with a decent variety of good options to choose from. Cost wasn't bad, but not a deal either. If I was part of the management team, I'd have a serious conversation with the young lady who was hosting today (8/12/26. She's going to cost you return business if she doesn't learn how to be a host and be happy serving people.

There's a cozy, friendly environment and they have excellent food and drinks. During my latest visit to Minneapolis (June 2026), I arrived late on a Sunday night and stopped by, and was pleasantly surprised by their Girl Menu - $20 for a small caesar salad, rosemary fries, vodka pasta and a hugo spritz. Honestly, a fantastic deal to me! I did supplement with some fried cheese curds, although those ended up tasting too heavy/oily for my personal taste. I've enjoyed their other appetizers and pizzas with coworkers, but what I've come to love (and hate because I may have had one too many) are their House Martini - I love the presentation and the way you can spritz a bit more of whatever is in that spray bottle (I was told, but I can't remember exactly what it was- possibly just the vermouth for whatever amount you want?). There's even an extra bit they keep in a small carafe to top yourself off when you're done with the drink in your coupe! Absolutely favorite martini in recent memory. I think I will be scheduled to visit again next year and will definitely stop by again!

As always, the food is fantastic and the service was good. Parking is about what you'd expect in downtown Minneapolis (paid street or paid lots) but they do have a small parking lot in the back and if you're lucky you may get a spot.

I love that it's tucked away in Northeast, with a good amount of parking and right on the river! I will definitely be back in the summer to sit and enjoy their string-lit patio. There's not a large amount of seating, but plenty of room for both reservations and walk-ins. It's a small but mighty staff and the service was fantastic. The drink menu is larger than the food menu, with plenty of NA options! My husband enjoyed a hazy IPA while I opted for a BauHaus Nah. Next time I definitely want to try one of the shrub mocktails! It was hard to decide what to order, but we started with the fried brussels sprouts - a MUST get! We agreed these were some of our favorites in the city, plug it was a huge portion for just two of us. Sweet and salty with a hit of acidity from the pickled onions. For dinner, I went with the steak and my husband went with the Cuban. He wouldn't stop raving about how delicious his sandwich was, and my steak was like butter with chimichurri and yuka fries on the side. My only notes would be that the fries & steak were very bland without the chimichurri and the portion was pretty small for the price. We ended the night with the chocolate torte, which was rich and not overpowering. I couldn't really get the hazelnut flavor but I loved the cherries and juice on top. Overall, we will definitely be back to enjoy this spot more - however we might opt to do more drinks and apps than a full dinner since they have so many delicious options!
