Came on a Sunday around 11:30 with a reservation. Greeted fast and taken care of really great the waitress was Tilly . I had an mimosa unfortunately forgot the flavor but they have really good choices and I had the country fried steak and eggs with a side a bacon , I believe this is just on the Sunday menu but super good no complaints on the place, [[HIGHLIGHT]]really good atmosphere and service[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Everything was great- food service and atmosphere- highly recommend - casual vibe, but the food is definitely an elevated experience.

Made a resy via open table and we were sat right by away. We came in on a Sunday at around 1100 for Brunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself felt really quiet, no music playing and tv's above the bar with no sound.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and busting in with a party of 6 with toddlers in tow it felt like all eyes were on us to keep the kids from disturbing everyone else. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated in this huge u-shaped booth which was nice because we had plenty of room, not eating elbow to elbow.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordering was pretty simple. The menu isn't crazy huge which was nice because when you have too many options it can get overwhelming. I read that they're known for using locally sourced ingredients which intrigued me to try it out. The downside was the wait time for food. Maybe it was because there were two other large parties who ordered in front of us? But long wait + hangry toddlers + quiet restaurant made for a more than usual stressful experience. It was 45mins to an hour from the time we sat down from the time our food arrived. And it's not like we waited 20 mins to choose what food we wanted, we ordered within 10 mins of being seated m, getting asked what we wanted to drink and then getting water brought to the table. Once the food came out it was devoured within 10 mins. Portion sizes are probably the actual suggested portion size adults are supposed to consume vs the 'American' portion size. We weren't sure that what we ordered was enough to satiate the entire family. We had the biscuits and gravy bowl, omelet of the week (sw omelet), chicken and waffle, cheese sausage and ham omelet, and the donut bread pudding. Came to around $100 w tip. If you're looking to feed ravenous kids, prices are on par with most brunch places and portion sizes are smaller. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But the food quality was great, everything tasted delicious just took a while to get food brought out and oddly quiet so maybe not really a younger kid family friend place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Decent organic restaurant with a cool stylish interior. Didn't try their chicken which may have been their signature dish. Also wanted to try their masa grit cakes but they were out - their blue cheese grits were very good. Excellent and prompt service as well from a waiter who told me this restaurant was part of a "trilogy" including Holy Rollers and 30th Street Market, which I also have to check out. Interesting spot to go to if you are in OKC!

So happy to eat at a restaurant with legit gluten free choices for a change! They got a bump in stars from me for this alone. We sat at the bar and had a cocktail while trying the pimento cheese and chips. The cheese dip was great but the chips tasted a bit overcooked imo. We enjoyed it regardless. And I forgot to make note of the name of the cocktail but it was really refreshing. We also had the chicken drumsticks with buffalo sauce, a shrimp ceviche tostado (delish!) off the seasonal menu, and a salad. Everything was fresh and well prepared. I would order all again with no hesitation. We weren't hungry enough for dessert but I will be back for some of their bread pudding!

The Red Rooster, what a surprise! We have lived in Mesta Park, OKC, for nearly 25 years, and somehow, we have missed this little gem of a restaurant. It's only 1.1 miles and 5 minutes away from our home, and we frequent the Paseo frequently, and yet we had never dined at the Red Rooster. Well, that changed Friday evening, and on a whim, we had dinner there. We started with Dirty Martinis, which we enjoyed. However, I did not care for the style of Olive they use: small, dark green, and pitted. Jan ordered the cold noodle salad. Jit featured whole wheat noodles in a peanut sauce. She added shrimp. She enjoyed the dish and I my taste test was great. I'm not a cold noodle type of guy, but I would order it. I ordered fish and chips. I'm always looking for great fish and chips, and so far, this is as good as it gets in OKC. The batter is a bit heavy, but the fish is delicate and tasty. Loved the sliced chips. The tartar sauce is unique. I believe it is a blend of thousand islad dressing and pickle relish. It's different and I liked it. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and cozy. The menu is not large but offers sufficient options to satisfy a range of tastes. The service was excellent. We are adding the Red Rooster to our restaurant rotation.

We didn't order entrees since we were so full from the appetizers but the food was superb? The drumsticks were juicy and you can pick from several flavors, the Thai was really good. Their little grit squares were also delicious, whatever that cream was Rey served it with was so amazing I could bathe on it. Lol. The drinks were fun and they used great combinations of flavors. Our server Isabella way super attentive and reciprocated our humor which made for a more entertaining experience. I loved the quaint size but they had it all, outdoor seating, large bar as well as plenty of seating. Definitely one of my faves!

One of my neighborhood favorites in OKC. I feel so grateful this place is now open for indoor/outdoor dining. The staff here are exceptional and the menu is great! My favorite thing to do is to order the fried chicken sandwich and a side salad. Their ingredients are always exceptionally fresh and the beer/wine list is fantastic. They have a great happy hour which we love to partake in. The outdoor area is pup friendly- so be sure to bring your furry friend. Thank you Red Rooster for being you! We can't wait to come back!

The kind of place that knows exactly what it is. The hospitality was exceptional. The host made me feel genuinely welcomed, and my server was knowledgeable, warm, and clearly passionate about the chef and the menu. Not a rehearsed performance, real enthusiasm. That's rare. I ordered the chef's signature: sea bass with black rice. The fish was perfectly executed, delicate, flaky, with a sear that gave the skin just the right amount of texture. The black rice was earthy and dramatic, the ideal counterpoint. Every element on that plate had a reason to be there. Some restaurants impress you. This one made me feel like I was exactly where I was supposed to be. Come for the sea bass. You'll be back for everything else. 10/10 -- Return without hesitation.

I got the tomato pasta which ended up being a weird collection of pasta, tomatoes, olives, and edamame that frankly didn't blend well. Our server was very kind but they seemed understaffed so service was slow. Overall, the food was definitely not worth the price, and I don't think we will return.

Just don't go here…read more I've lived here for 5 years and by far the worst restaurant experience I have had in Oklahoma, and if you see my other reviews I'm pretty forgiving and tend to give spots the benefit of the doubt. This is a place worth an absolute flaming of a review.... But they already wasted enough of my time and energy today so I'll just summarize. No management on scene, no hostess, one server, two bartenders and a restaurant at 50% capacity on Mother's Day at 1 p.m. From walking in to having our orders taken, 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our order of roasted vegetable salad, steak eggs Benedict, and sourdough toast arrived. Salad was very well burnt but my mom was trying to be nice and didn't want to walk out. Eggs Benedict came out with two eggs boiled through, a hollandaise sauce with a sour smell and cold steak. I didn't eat it and no one seemed to notice, had it removed from my bill easy enough, but again zero F's given and no management showed daylight. Wife's toast actually arrived 5 minutes after the 'rest' of the food and the only thing hot and delicious. Toast here is $11, so there's that. No one cares here. From the health violations and poor food safety I saw in the kitchen, the multiple tables I witnessed sending back food to the multiple parties puzzled as to why they weren't being sat or once they were entirely ignored... it was so wildly bad I was embarrassed for everyone else having the same experience. Again, don't go.

I was delighted to find out that our hotel was only 2 miles from this highly acclaimed restaurant. Upon entering, I immediately felt the welcoming atmosphere. We were warmly greeted by the host. The inside is lovely, modern and well laid out. It's perfect for date night or hanging with friends. The host chatted with us, explained the restaurant concept, and answered all my questions. We got the Baked Chèvre for our appetizer. It was layered with flavor and a most delicious and perfect bite for a cold evening. My entree was the Rainbow Trout. The fish had crispy skin and was moist, flaky, and well seasoned. The broad bean mixture served with it was equally delicious. The hubby had Honey Roasted Lavender Chicken which he declared to be one of the best chicken dishes he's ever had. He even raved over the vegetables that came with it. Of course I also had to try dessert. I loved my warm spice cake with a scoop of ice cream and swirls of buttery caramel rum sauce. The cake was so moist and paired perfectly with the sauce and ice cream. Our wait staff was friendly and professional. I forgot to jot down names so I could give them a shout out. Excellent staff is always a part of an excellent dining experience. This was just a delightful experience.
