I've been obsessed with watching head spa videos on TikTok for the last year so I was ecstatic when my mom got me a gift card for my bday last weekend. I've been watching videos so every spa is going to do something different. My experience was awesome - if you like a really good shampoo massage when you get your hair done this is for you. I was wearing a blindfold so I really couldn't see what she was doing but it was three different products massaged into your hair and scalp, and then rinsed with this sprinkler type contraption that rinsed your hair. She also did a shoulder/neck/massage which was nice. They did not do a scalp analysis with the fancy machine like I've seen in some videos. When I thought it was over she told me to sit up and she then got on the table behind me and proceeded to massage my back and stretch me like a human pretzel. It felt incredible. Wasn't expecting that but loved it. Aesthetically this was basic decor -you are in a room with all the tables - each area has a curtain but it's pretty sheer. Also they will give you a towel wrap to wear as your top half will be wet. When I asked her what she used, she showed me bottles which were in Chinese One did say masque so I'm guessing that was last step. They have a small changing room with a small vanity for you to blowdry your own hair but I ended up going home and drying it myself. My technician was Linda. She was amazing - especially if you like a deeper massage. HIGHLY RECOMMEND her. She will ask your preference and I told her the deep pressure was great. I've already told many friends about this gem! I'll definitely be back. I didn't do the steam one but will try that next time. read more

The shoulder massage was amazing and they even blow dried our hair afterwards. My hair feels so soft now. A few notes- when you arrive they give you slippers to put on. I had seen head spas all over social media and wanted to give it a try while I was in town. My bestie and I were able to get a last minute appointment together. My bestie was 7 months pregnant which I let them know in advance. The ladies were so attentive and checking on her frequently to ensure she was comfortable. My experience was incredibly relaxing and has me wanting them regularly! They started with viewing our scalp with a camera (very weird seeing your scalp that way lol) and recommended the ginseng treatment. Hair was washed a couple times, conditioner, lots of scalp massaging and shoulder massage. The absolute most relaxing experience!!! This is a must try especially at Huis because everyone was so kind and comforting. We did have help translating with the front desk gal just as a heads up. When meeting someone for the first time, say your name and ask the customer's name. Then refer to the client by name when speaking directly to him/her. Although I did not receive the trigger work that I requested for my half hour foot massage, the gentleman that worked on my feet (David) applied good firm pressure. This was my first visit, but the repeated request for me to have an hour session, "for only $15 more", was overstepping, especially after I explained that since this was my first visit, I wanted a short experience before committing to a longer session. read more

I would not recommend this business or spa due to poor customer service. I made three appointments for this past Sunday morning several weeks in advance. When we arrived, we were told there was only one appointment. We waited 20 minutes just to be told we could come back in an hour and a half for the other two appointments, which didn't work with our schedule. The front desk associate, Daniella, did her best to help. Daniella told me Rose, the manager, would come and speak with me, but I waited another 20 minutes and she never did. I was told I'd receive a call from Rose on Sunday, and I never did. Later that day I called and spoke with Frank and reexplained the poor experience we had. Frank said he would call me back within 30 minutes and never did. I called the next day and spoke with Daniella, who said I'd receive a call back, and again I never did. I was offered $10 off, which doesn't seem like a reasonable solution, given the cost of the service, the scheduling error on Hui's part, and the poor customer service we received. This was a negative experience and the staff members were unprofessional. read more
