The crème brûlée and banana cream pie is not good. I had really high hopes on the desserts, guess I was wrong. I payed over $100 for this and I'm really disappointed. Love this place! Came here and caught the end of happy hour, where we got to try a few items off that menu. Ordered the truffle fries, orange chicken, coconut shrimp, and poke. My wife and I, my then fiancée, were looking to have a quiet dinner at a unique restaurant and Red Table was the place we agreed to visit. We waited 15 minutes at the seating hostess' station, not one person greeted us. I'm sure you're thinking, "Busy restaurant, hustle and bustle, cut 'em some slack." Wrong! There were two other couples dining inside and plenty of staff chatting it up rather casually to see any type of excuse for neglect. We headed out and landed at another restaurant. 3 years later we returned to give it another go and the same thing happened again. You guessed it, we left. Most recently my wife and I headed back to the restaurant to give it a go and we were seated in the moderately paced restaurant and waited. 20 minutes after our appetizer order and not one word or drink check top off we left with a discouraged feeling. We left enough cash to cover the appetizer and a generous tip in an effort to hopefully cause the server to question the generosity whilst thinking about the lack of service that was delivered. We are 0 for 3 here and have no plans to return. read more

I've heard about this place a while now, and now that I live nearby I decided to go for lunch. Justin was our server, and was on point. Actually all of the staff was very friendly and helpful, we chatted with a few of the staff while there. Dog friendly patio. We started with the deviled eggs served on top of a spicy tomato sauce sprinkled with prosciutto chips they were delicious. I had the Cobb salad which was delicious, Although $18 for a Cobb salad is a bit steep. My friend had the tomato bisque and house salad, she said the soup was delicious, and the house salad was huge! I wanted to love this place. The decor is chic and cozy, the service is excellent, but the brunch food was disappointing. The steak chilaquiles were awful. The steak pieces were pretty much just fat, and there was no avocado or sour cream. It was red sauce with some crema over greasy tortilla chips. We also ordered the berries and cream waffle and that was lackluster too. The waffle wasn't crispy outside and cakey in the middle. It was pretty much rubbery cake. The cream custard was a thick, like buttercream. So bummed. The service staff was wonderful though - so attentive. Just need the food to match the service and ambiance. read more

One of my go to favorites for dinner and date night with my wife. Great ambiance and service! Large selection of wines and sprits. They definitely do a great job on their wine selections. My all time favorites are their potato wrapped salmon. Their no bones buffalo chicken and fries make for a great appetizer. Lastly, for all celiac or gluten sensitive Red Table is a must. Pretty much everything is ok as they prepare all meals with rice flour and the fryers never fry any gluten containing ingredients. read more

We came in last night for Valentine's Day. It took the host awhile to greet us, we believe she was training a newly hired host; not a huge deal at all. We sat inside where the ambiance was actually pretty rad. We enjoyed the overall vibe and environment of the restaurant. We sat awhile before anyone came by. One server walked by our table 5 or 6 times before she came by. She came by and said someone else was our server and that he would be right with us. Bryan came by, and right off the bat he was amazing. He was super informative and friendly and even went to the bar and kitchen to ask the questions that we had. He was so friendly in speaking about his line of work and the history of the restaurant. He was also able to provide great suggestions. We had the brussel sprouts and sweet potato fries that were both great. The sprouts were perfectly cooked and the fries came out hot and crispy. I personally thought the bacon chive aioli they came with, needed just a tad of lemon juice. The sauce itself was so thick and a strange consistency but overall, very tasty. I ordered the fish tacos and he ordered the short rib. The short rib was cooked to perfection along with the veggies that came with it. I literally could not believe it ! Not a lot of places can do short rib right but this place totally did. The fish tacos were lightly fried and the house made slaw on top was the perfect acidity to cut through the fried fish. The cocktails were sub par for us. We tried a few of the valentines ones, they were good but would likely not order them again - I would choose something else. Hopefully next time they have general spirit lists they can hand out since the bar shelf was beyond unorganized, we weren't able to see all they had to offer. Side note - bring a small pack of Clorox wipes if possible because the restrooms were not clean. Overall, Bryan was AMAZING, we would come back and ask for him again. But more disappointing was the service. I asked for Tobasco sauce which the server forgot to bring. I had to remind him on that as well as coffee refill. My wife and I get our groceries from the nearby Trader Joes. On occasion we stop here to eat. During lunch time you can pick any seat you want. They have a mixture of booths, tables, high top tables near the bar, and the bar itself. There's a small patio too but last time I saw somebody out there the server kept forgetting about them. They did allow dogs though on the patio so if you do use it make sure you let somebody know you're out there. Service here is really friendly and they're very good at giving good recommendations. It can be a bit slow at times due to having a skeleton crew at lunch but I've never ran into any issues. There's a daily specials board which I've found has the best items. Problem is when you love something off of it you may never see it again! Food wise I've never really had anything bad. I've had some truly fantastic fish meals off the specials board. I've also had flatbreads, burger, salad, and appetizers. Their a la carte French fries are a must. The garlic ones are our favorite. This last Sunday I tried their brunch for the first time. Very reasonably priced. Had their brioche French Toast for $8 which came with 4 big pieces. Added a side of sausage and I was really full. Was a delicious breakfast. They have a great selection of cocktails, beer, and wine too. Whatever current beer and wine they have at the moment is written on a chalk board behind the bar. Cool neighborhood eatery. Great restaurant and bar to try out. I decided to try Red Table. Located in the Huntington Beach section of Orange County. They serve some delicious food and drinks with some great customer service. Drink: One glass of berry picker with strawberry. Really love the concept of the drink, especially with the orange peel for the feel of the citrus taste. I wonder what the bartenders do with the rest of the oranges... probably eat it or throw it out, just kidding. The taste of the drink was excellent, very refreshing. Food: Ordered an winemaker burger (cooked to medium). I must say it was very juicy. The Cabernet reduction really made the burger taste so good. It's an really good burger to check out. I did ordered Bollywood fries. It was good, no other comments at this time. Service: Service here was amazing. Very knowledgeable bartenders who really know how to job right and by the book. Had my 70th birthday party there recently. Everyone had a great time and loved the food and drinks. Two guests were gluten free which was no problem. Got a birthday surprise dessert served in a massive metal spoon. Service was excellent as it always is when going there. Bar staff knows their stuff. Really relaxing atmosphere.
