We took advantage of the fun photo op inside and then grabbed some open seats at the wraparound outdoor bar, which was quite comfortable with the overhead space heaters. My friend ordered the Blue Indigo cocktail, and I initially requested the Kiwi Caviar, but since they were out of ingredients for it, I asked for Island Life as a backup. Both drinks were really good. Mine straight up tasted like tropical juice, but my friend's was a bit stronger. We stayed until closing before hopping over to The Bungalow. We came in around 9:30 and they close at 10, but the door was already locked. We knocked and they eventually let us in, but right away it felt like we were bothering them just by being there. The bartender was honestly pretty rude. I ordered a Pink Flamingo and he made a comment like "no good deed goes unpunished," basically because they had opened the door for us. Then I asked if the drink had mezcal in it and he responded, "Unfortunately." It was just a really weird and uncomfortable experience. We weren't trying to hang around past closing either. My brother-in-law and I actually finished our drinks before everyone else and left. I understand wanting to wrap things up at the end of the night, but if you close at 10, customers coming in at 9:30 shouldn't be treated like they're doing something wrong. We came at 5:40pm on Friday to make the last bit of happy hour, we got our drink order in by 5:45p (2 mai tais, a margarita, house white wine and an IPA) and our bartender, Luis C. , didn't hand us the drinks until 6:03p (after the 4-6pm happy hour had ended) and we ended up getting charged the normal prices First off, we were the only drink order he was working on at the time. I do not think it takes 15 minutes to make drinks, although considering he was flirting with the women next to us, who had already gotten their drinks, I could see how it would have taken him that long to make a couple drinks Second, I don't want to assume but he was moving and talking and flirting with people as if he was drunk. Treehouse on PCH is a cocktail bar located on the rooftop of the Pasea Hotel in Huntington Beach. As its name suggests, it sits along the PCH and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. To park, there is either nearby metered street parking or you can valet for $15. To get to the bar, go into the lobby and head to the right. You can either take the elevator or walk out the door and go up the stairs to the second floor. You'll then see the treehouse that blankets the countertop bar. The bar has lounge chairs throughout, some under cabanas and others near fires when it's cold. For drinks I ordered the pisco punch ($18) and the monkey business ($17) which were both solid. You can't really see the water at night so if you do I'd recommend going when it's light out. It was a nice lounge-y spot to either get food or drinks or both. read more

First time here and last time. Place is nice but service was absolutely terrible ! We waited maybe 30 - 40 minutes to even be able to flag our waitress Caroline down to take our drinks when I asked her if we could order drinks she rolled her eyes and said what can I get you no smile no nothing straight mad face. Take in mind the table next to us who were white girls she went up to their table a minimum of 7 times smiling and asking if they needed anything while she avoided looking at my table the drinks were extremely sour and bitter the burger was disgusting it had a after taste of some sort I couldn't eat it. The birria fries we got and the fries that came with my burger were extremely salty as well as if they would've poured the entire bottle of salt on them. Then when we asked for the check the girl had already added 20% tip onto our tab mind you we were a party of 4 normally places add tip for big parties of 6 or more . The environment seemed ok the music selection wasn't that great either but the service just killed the whole experience overall. If I could give zero stars I would. This place needs to do better and treat ALL paying customers with equality. read more

I accidentally lost my diamond earring down the women's bathroom drain, and Amy, the lead manager, along with another wonderful waitress, went above and beyond to help me for nearly an hour--even sitting on the floor and bringing out her own tool kit from her car. Although we weren't successful that night, Amy came back the next morning and was able to retrieve my earring before we arrived. What could have been a miserable experience turned into such a relief thanks to the kindness and dedication of the staff. Came here with a group of co-workers on a pleasant enough evening. The view was great, the drinks were delightful, and the service was wonderful. This is a great lounge bar. I can't say I found the seating terribly comfortable though it looked like it should be. I found the seat depth to be a bit much to find a comfortable position for my short legs. We started in one section closer to the bar and then moved later in the evening to one of the tables with the fire pit. It was a perfect location once night rolled in and the temperatures cooled. The service was really good. Our waitress was a wise-cracking, easy going lady who was just good natured. The type of person who is perfect for this atmosphere. There was an issue with one of the kegs which caused an interruption to the flow of beer. She kept us informed and made the guys choose who got the last glass. I decided to stick with non-alcoholic drinks that night and they have a great variety of alcohol free drinks. Each was very tasty. The waitress explained twice it was spirit free before I got her to admit she double confirms due to number of people who apparently don't understand that alcohol free means no alcohol. Not enough shade for the middle of the summer and the music is clubby and super loud. Not a place to come for relaxing drinks by the beach. It was soo busy and it sucks that you're not able to make reservations especially if you want to dine in. Honestly not sure what is happening but the drinks on Saturday 3/28/26 were absolutely atrocious absolutely disgusting leaving one of our friends severely ill after a drink contained dairy and lime even when we were told it wouldn't. One of us got a mint mojito that was undrinkable seriously, it was sooo incredibly sour all we could taste was lime juice. Another friend got a coconut margarita again very very strong taste of lime in this one. 3 of us got Negronis and one got a spicy margarita but all we could taste was lime. The woven shades over the bar was very catchy from walking by so that's why we decided to come up and check it out. The view is very nice up on the balcony level, it was very easy to get seating and the host / servers were all very attentive and friendly. I ordered the flamingo with mezcal and it sure was yummy, made just right with enough alcohol. There's also a sunset drink for a discounted price but it's only offered 15-20 minutes before sunset plus after sunset so we didn't get to try it this time. This is a beautiful rooftop bar with a gorgeous view of the ocean. My friend and I each had a chocolate espresso martini that was absolutely delicious! It's way better than any ordinary espresso martini! For light bites, we ordered tempura fish tacos and tuna poke since we already had dinner elsewhere. The ambiance was breathtakingly beautiful!
