Red Red Tomato House Special Pizza

Good experience. Parking was a little tricky, but managed to find street parking in front. Pretty good pizza. We got the red tomato pizza house special. It was tasty. Good crust. Friendly staff. Order, pay, and find your seat, in the spacious dining room. We also had the mac and cheese, but it was a little bland.

They have gave permission and booking to shoot a short film before their restaurant opens!!! Amazing!!!

They do so much for their community and beyond being a family owned business, creating generational wealth, THEY WANT EVERYONE TO WIN!!! Incredible pepperoni pizza! Service was great. Atmosphere is cool. Great music. I love this place! Many will disagree with me on this, but I believe Red Tomato Pizza House is the best pizza place in Berkeley. Check them out! Wife loved the macaroni and cheese. The garlic twists are amazing. Folks, check this place out NOW!!!!

First of all this places is super in compliance with the COVID-19 rules. This spot is in a great location as well. When we arrived at Red Tomato Pizza House I was greet by a very nice lady. I placed my order and my sister and I waited for a little while but we ordered a lot lol I ordered a meat lovers personal pizza, garlic twists, medium farmers medley, and a medium build your own. The ingredients on the pizzas were amazing! I'm sad I don't live closer. The garlic twists were delicious and I wish I ordered more. That's what you get for being nice and sharing. When we received our order we were told we got a little extra something which were the brussel sprouts. I love brussel sprouts so that was a great surprise for me. They were perfectly seasoned. I couldn't stop eating them. I will be back again for sure! This will be a go to spot when I'm in Berkeley.

First time placing an order through Door Dash. A simple order (Pesto Pine-Nut Vegan Pizza Small and Pesto Twists) Received wrong twists. $40 I paid through Door Dash you would think they can put in the effort in getting it right especially for paying so much money for little food and no service.

This place is great for a late night snack. My friends and I stopped by after an event and between us we ordered a vegan pepperoni pizza, a chicken tandoori pizza, and a pepperoni and spinach pizza. I appreciated that the ingredients tasted fresh and the vegan pizza my friend ordered was actually really good ! It was clean on the inside if you want to dine-in but we did take ours to go. It is street parking but it wasn't too bad finding a spot. Check this business out if you haven't tried it.

I got the Yelp event personal sized meat lovers pizza and ordered a small meat lovers gluten free with anchovies. They put a lot of meat on the pizzas. It's well worth it. The crust is not thin so a little doughy inside. I would go back for sure.

Whenever I'm in search of something good to eat in the Bay Area I always check TikTok first. My search directed me to Southside Station! It's a small quaint establishment with a very quiet vibe. When I entered, there was a table of three gentlemen sitting there enjoying their selections. I checked in with them and got suggestions on what I should order. They made a recommendation, but I chose something totally different. I ordered the wings and garlic noodles with a side of brussels sprouts. This place is known for their fried chicken because it's so extra crunchy. They definitely did deliver on the crunch and the flavor. The garlic noodles were very garlic, which is what I liked, and the brussels sprouts were sautéed in a honey glaze. I decided to enjoy my food inside the restaurant as opposed to sitting outside where they have two tables set up. The young lady that took my order was ever so sweet and kind. She was the only one I saw in the restaurant behind the counter, but there may have been others working further in the back. There was an error on my order and she was quick to correct the error with an apology and a smile. The portion size was decent. I ended up taking home leftovers.

FLAVORFUL MEAT OR FLAVORFUL SAUCE…read more I've eaten here twice. The first time I passed by this place as I parked my car at the Telegraph Channing Garage. After a couple of hours roaming around the Berkeley when I headed back to my car I stopped by KoStop to eat for lunch. I ordered the medium fried chicken, but I didn't know what sauce I wanted. I asked one of the co-workers what he would recommend. He suggested sweet and spicy. I decided to order the original as I believe in order to taste how flavorful chicken wings are you need to taste it without any sauce. For the side I got pickled radish. I also decided to get a side order of cheese sticks. The pickled radish balances the oily texture from fried chicken wings and cheese sticks. I liked the breading from the fried chicken. The meat was fully cooked. However the meat tasted bland. The second time I came here was on a Sunday. After shopping for California apparel I came here for lunch as I parked my car at the Telegraph Channing Garage. As with the first visit I ordered medium fried chicken, but this time I decided to get a sauce. One of the workers said sweet and spicy is the most popular flavor. I ordered that flavor. For a beverage I ordered melon milk. The sweet and spicy has a sriracha-like taste. I thought the sweet and spicy flavor was ok. If you go to KoStop by yourself a medium order provides a satisfy portion of wings. The meat isn't dry, but it's not as moist as I like it. Overall I've eaten tastier chicken wings elsewhere.

Jupiter's been a Berkeley staple for 30 years and it's easy to see why -- the two-level beer garden with the firepit and string lights is the whole vibe, and the church-pew-and-tin interior (it's an old livery stable) gives it character you can't fake. Came on a busy night, which is Jupiter's default state, and the service was still great. Ordered a personal pizza -- their wood-fired stuff is solid, not life-changing, but exactly what you want next to a house brew. Decent food, great beer, unbeatable atmosphere. It's a two-second walk from the Downtown Berkeley BART, so there's really no excuse. Student, alum, or just passing through -- post up in the beer garden and stay a while. The spicy pork bibimbap a great meal, large in size, I ended up sharing this bibimbap on order to try out other menu items. The pork had a mild spice to it and the egg was runny which mixed well with the other components. This is my second favorite item. But my first favorite would have to be the rice tacos. We ordered a trio of salmon, tuna and crab salad. The shell was nice and crispy, and not hard like a rice cake. And the filling was delicious. the only downside is this is messy to eat. I tried two honey butter wings, a sweet flavor, and another time I tried the "sweet cheddar". Both were excellent, hopefully I can try the Yangnyeom next time for some spicy flavor. Finally the raw salmon and onion kimbap was great. I would equally put the wings and kimbap as my third favorite for ordering. Service was fast, ordering is easy. Not your traditional Korean restaurant as it is more a fusion with their bibimbap and rice tacos. The salmon was the star for the rice tacos as the ahi felt a bit plain and dry the second time around. The kimbap was available as a half or full order so we went for a non-traditional raw salmon. My niece loved the crispy chicken with cheese, that she couldn't stop eating it and I admit they were addictive, so crispy but still juicy. When you get the bibimbap for takeout, they are very mindful to separate the hot from the cold portion which was great.

The French toast had a beautifully golden exterior with thick challah bread. I usually prefer a more custardy center, but I didn't mind that it was a bit drier because the berries, compote, and glaze brought everything together and balanced the dish nicely. The omelette was a standout. The eggs were cooked beautifully and filled with well-seasoned peppers, onions, mushrooms, and creamy goat cheese. The house potatoes were crispy, flavorful, and seasoned just right without being overly salty. Some bites had a little more bite to them while others were soft and tender, which made them even more enjoyable. 10/10 would absolutely come back.
