Nostalgia much? I grew up with Blondie's Pizza. I have loved this place since I was a teenager & I love it even more now. For more than one reason. For one it brings back so many good memories, Blondie's always makes me happy. The second reason is they now have 100% BEEF PEPERONI! You heard me, 100% BEEF PEPPERONI! For some people that's not a big deal. For someone who hasn't eaten pork their whole life & always has to avoid getting pepperoni on their pizza, its a HUGE freaking deal. I love, love, love when the rare occasion happens that I get to enjoy BEEF PEPPERONI on my pizza. OK besides that, the pizza is amazing. I was literally closing my eyes and in my happy place the whole time. Now for those that never had BEEF PEPPERONI, please go try it. It is so much higher quality than pork pepperoni, so I've been told. I plan to make many more trips in the near future, thats how excited it made me. By the way I loved the cheese just as much, yum yummy. Pro tip: parking is hard, obviously, downtown Berkeley and all. So either walk, Uber, find parking, take the bus, or do as I do and tag team it and drop off a friend to go order for the whole car and drive around until they are ready to be picked up. Solid food and large slices for $8. I personally wishes slices were smaller and cheaper so I could get multiple different slices, but oh well. Some people's go-to spot for pizza in the area. I liked how the tomato sauce was just straight tomato and not sweet or anything. At pickup, you get a cheese pull but it is not sloppy. When it cools, cheese doesn't get hard either. We went with a large pepperoni sausage pizza. After taking it home, about an hour away, it was still warm and tasted good. The reason for the low rating is because I do not like thick crust pizza. The flavor was ok, but not enough to look past the thick crust that I do not care for, so I will most likely not go back. The pizza here is definitely much greasier than most pizza and is below average for a pizza parlor. The pepperoni is just so oily, and the cheese seems a bit artificial. I liked the crust, though, because it had a good garlic butter and was soft. The slice was very large, so even though the price is higher than an average slice, the size matches up. The food was ready in a few minutes. The seating is quite limited, but thankfully my dad and I were able to find a table with chairs. read more

This is a great place to pick up a slice for pretty cheap, and it tastes wonderful. I personally don't have a preference for thinner or thicker crust--but a heads up that it runs on the thicker side if that matters to you. I ordered take out and they forgot one item and had to make it which made me wait quite some time. The slice is very big here and fluffy dough. Giant Pepperoni Pizza: 10/10 - followed all instructions for our special order - thick crust, flavorful sauce, light cheese and good amount of pepperoni Breadsticks with Garlic: 6/10 - didn't have as much garlic as I thought it would - huge breadsticks that's worth the price - comes with a sauce and is definitely needed because the breadsticks are a bit dry We will definitely be back to try out other pizzas at Blondies! read more

I remember having Blondie's a long long time ago as a kid. It's been forever and since becoming an adult I've cut pork out of my diet. I was soooo happy to be reminded that ALL of blondies pepperoni is ALL BEEF! That is the best shit ever! The giant size can feed two people for 2-3 days lol. The slices are huge and very filling.
