Cute spot, nice and cozy inside.

Tied for 1st place in the Bay! June's and Pizza Ponte' (followed by Mamas Boy then Artichoke Basil). This place's crust is made with real love. The generous parm shredded on top before serving is just pizza magic. Parking is hard, I seen a car bipped when looking for parking. Best to be patient on park on Telegraph. The alleyways and small streets had people walking and looking inside cars.... But the pizza is worth the hassle

This is my favorite pizza in Oakland ! Everything is perfect: the crust, the sauce, the cheese, the toppings are all A+ every time.

Love Temescal, Neighbourhood had this pizza for the first time. There is a separate line to order slices and pizza on the spot or you could order online and pick up in a different door. They had a little bit of seating outside, but no indoor sitting. The employees were super nice and helpful very attentive to the tables to make sure they were clean ready for the next guest. I got a slice of the buffalo chicken and my husband got a slice of the pepperoni. These slices were huge and very tasty. When you're in the neighborhood, definitely stop by and grab a slice. A slice goes for about five dollars.

More of a take out spot as seating is maybe enough for 10 people total. That said the pizza was yummy!! I liked the stracciatella one a lot as well as the pesto. I would def go again. Service was friendly and they made the smaller pizzas pretty quick.

Accidentally found this place while walking around on Telegraph. Had a slice of Detroit style and it was very good. The sauce had a nice tang to it and the crust a great crunch. It's in a difficult area for parking and not many seats inside.

Pizza so crunchy, you can easily hear yourself chew. I will be coming back here again for sure because I love Detroit style, and they have some good flavors! Easy for on the go or if you wanna enjoy the sun casually on an outside table watching the passers by.

Old New Yorkers Enjoying a cheese slice.

Brought my old New Yorker friends, historian couple w high standards for food. And Pizza Ponte passed the test. They had the cheese. Which Andrea said was the real test of the joint, and it passed, they thought it was good! The service was good! The kind young man offered Andrea spicy ranch, she made a face walking out the door, and I explained - she's a New Yorker, the feller sitting outside heard & chimed in, "You want pineapple w/ that?!?" jokingly as he's also from NY! Haha

These guys are pizza wizards. This is the best cheese slice I think I've ever had. It's up there with some of the best slices in NY. Wow, I was kinda blown away when I had my first bite. My expectations were high due to my brother hyping it up and it exceeded them. It checks all the boxes... the dough was straight magic and the sauce and cheese was exotic and erotic. I can't wait to go back. Only thing I can ask for is halal meat if they can look into that.... Hats off guys!!!!

Wow, why haven't I tried this until now!? This is a solid pizza place. I would highly recommend this spot! This pizza is nice and crisp. The toppings are minimal but perfect! It's cool that the place is open late. They got outdoor and indoor seating. They do pizza by the slice and they make sure it's nice and toasty for you. The people are friendly and chill too! You can tell they put in the work!

This place has an astonishingly legit array of NY-style slices. I somehow overlooked it for years, and boy do I regret it. The burrata slice! Even the straight cheese slice never fails to satisfy. Not much seating here so you may have to eat it on the run, but it is still worth it.

Pizza Ponte is a true hidden gem in the East Bay! This is a fast casual spot, you can sit outside or take to go. The service is fast and the staff is very friendly. I got the Sicilian-style pepperoni w/ ricotta cheese and a slice of the green goddess and they were phenomenal. The pizza was perfectly cooked, crispy but not hard. 10/10 will be making this a regular spot.

A hidden gem! Decided upon Pizza Ponte in the midst of a late night pizza craving, and it did not disappoint! I am a fan of NY style pizza as is, but I was blown away by the fluffy flavorful crust and mouth-watering presentation. I got a make-your-own pizza with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and bell peppers, and topped with basil, stringy parmesan and tasty ranch dressing. Enjoyed this delicious mouthful on their cute outdoor seating area on a warm night. Great experience, and I am without a doubt making my way back to Pizza Ponte!

What a delightful surprise finding this quaint pizza shop in Temescal. We shared 3 slices: Buffalo chicken, green goddess, and square slice with everything. The crust was perfection and both the chicken and green pesto slices were delicious. The pizza also came with a nice smoky sauce in a bottle. I thought that was a nice touch.

We sat inside originally, but then decided to go sit outside because it was a beautiful day. The inside was clean and very quiet, the patio was full of people. Ambiance gets a 4/5. We were immediately met by a pleasant waitress, and when we moved she just came and found us. She was very informative, engaging, and knowledgeable, great service all around 4.8/5. I ordered the strength & my cousin the garlic wings and a margarita. The wings were some of the best I've ever had, fried to perfection and seasoned just right. A huge punch of garlic, which I really enjoy, so wings were 4.9/5. The vegetarian sandwich I ordered was so delicious, the pesto and garlic aioli really added flavor and the fresh warm bread really set it apart 4.8/9, only because the jalapeño was more spicy than pickled. Overall; I rate this place a 4.7/5

Quality/Quantity - You have been on my list to visit since you opened. I drink your beers in most (if not all) the local Korean Restaurants in the Bay. And at some non Korean restaurants. Today I enjoyed your Chuseok Porter, well a few of them... This by far was my favorite of all the beers I drank and tasted here. Also tasted the following: Dokkaebi IPA - Light and refreshing. Lemongrass Witbier - I can almost taste the lemongrass, another light and refreshing beer. K-Beer - Again, another light and refreshing beer. My daughter had the Calamansi & Tea Lager - This actually had more flavor then all the beers I drank except my porter. Lastly, my daughter noticed the Hazy IPA, Hazy Seoul. But I could not/did not want to drink any more. I guess I might have to rush over again before they close. For our snacks we got: KFC, Korean Fried Chicken - Not as authentic as I would have preferred. Gimmari - Wow, a home run. It helped that I have never had this before! My daughter says we will go to K-Town next time we are in LA and she will introduce me to Korean "street food." Looking forward to it. Atmosphere - Small local brewery. They also own the "kitchen" and storage area next door, see pictures. Metered street parking, but not a problem on a Sunday. And free meter parking on a Sunday. For their prices, I was expecting something more close to soul food style mac n cheese (even a Popeyes' like version would've been okay enough). It felt like a boxed Velveeta, but dry/reheated with them hastily adding seasoning on top. 2. The fries were also a letdown. The seasoning was actually decent, but I could tell it was reheated. No crispness, but more of a limp, soft exterior. 3. Their chicken, plus the friendly service saved the review from being 1 stars. Out of everything on my platter, it was the only thing that actually tasted fresh & not reheated. The skin was crispy with a juicy interior. It had a spicy kick to it that wasn't too overbearing. Overall, I'd say their chicken is worth the price. It's the sides (from my experience) that could be better.
