After a movie I wanted something to eat that was quick, I saw Arthur Mac's Little Snack upstairs with other food options. Grabbed a slide of pizza with a drink and it was perfect. It's in the Bay Street Mall near the theaters in Emeryville. It's s relatively small indoor seating area but lots of seats just outside (covered and some with heaters). You place your order digitally and quickly. I ordered a slide with Pepperoni and chose an Alameda Soda Cola. The dough was perfect, ample amounts of cheese and pepperoni. And the drink was delicious (never had Alameda Soad before, will look them up). Pretty lively pizza place on Bay Street! Ordered a medium sized (14 inch) Cluck Norris, which is basically just their barbecue chicken special. If you enjoy a sweeter bbq sauce, this is just right for you. I really appreciated the hearty amount of toppings and how the next bite was just as flavorful as the last. I also tried the pizza with their ranch sauce and it was a beautiful combo. I do agree with the other reviews though, their crust is just okay and is a bit more on the doughier side than the crispy side you usually get from thinner pizzas. I wish I have more things to say about their crust or the sauce or cheese they use but it tasted like any other pizza. Menu options we're pretty decent but pick-up was a bit disorganized. I understand the whole electronic system but the staff struggled trying to keep orders organized. I didn't fault them for that - likely just a bad day or a new staff. There's another location in Oakland near MacArthur BART that is larger and more of a sit down. I dig the "little snack" grab and go feel at this one for those that just want a little nosh & maybe a fun, local brew/cocktail before heading into a movie or whatever's next on the Baystreet list. It's nice that they offer a variety of slices and also full pies (in gluten free options too), chicken and cauliflower wings, salads, chicken nuggets, fries, and more. Their pizza names and toppings are innovative, like the Golden State Curry (made with tikka masala), the Cluck Norris (made with herbed chicken), and the Saved by Bell Pepper (made with a mix of red & yellow peppers). My family were excited to head back to Bay St. For the first time in years to try Fuddruckers, and were in dismay on how much the space had changed (no more open play area outside Barnes and Noble). But we were hungry, and this spot had the most inviting menu and interior space (couple arcade games, available pizza by the slice on display). Grabbed the 1) Cluck Norris - regular size comes with six good sized pieces. Pizza probably good for 3 people, on average. Great BBQ sauce flavor with a fair Mount of toppings (I would've preferred more, but the flavor and texture was great). Pretty good value for 25. 2) Combo chicken - 5 boneless nugs (fairly dry, and the honey mustard was more tangy than sweet, which I wasn't a fan of) + 5 wings (even more dry. Honey lemon pepper dry rub - no real taste of the honey, and more of a salt and lemon flavor). If I return again, I would steer away from any of their chicken. The workers were extremely kind, and I appreciate the gesture of them walking the pizza out to our table outside on the patio (great outdoor space for eating, some games available for families to enjoy, especially if your group are feeling different kinds of cuisines but want to sit together. I hope Bay St. grows back again into a family friendly space that is more than shops. If I come back, this would still likely be the food place I would come back to. read more

This is a nice little restaurant. Reasonably priced. Cool esthetic! I went late night so I'm not sure if play sports on their televisions. But, Im going to assume that they do. If so, this would be a nice place to meet up with a few friends to watch the game. The place is small, it would not accommodate a large group. But a friend or two would be perfect! I got the wigs with buffalo sauce. DELICIOUS. It also came with carrot and celery sticks. The ranch dressing was pretty good too. We came around 8:30pm and they had run out of pepperoni. Perfectly crispy and soft amount crust pizza. Ive tried pizza in other states and this one topped all of them for me. Flavors were fresh and really flavorful! Stopped here on a fluke and ended up even sticking around for dessert! They have self service kiosks but the staff is still super friendly and the manager even brought us some water without asking.
