    Novelty skeleton hand hair clip
    Sarah W.

We visited here on a Sunday afternoon following a tour of NuLu and were thrilled to see so many interesting and eclectic items in one place. I purchased a novelty skeleton hand hair clip since Halloween is next month. Too cute! We all plan to return here to knock items off of our Christmas shopping lists since there are so many one-of-a-kind choices. Great place to treat yourself, purchase unique hostess gifts, and find something for those people who have everything! Competitive pricing, friendly employees, and easy access parking.

I've been procrastinating with leaving this review because I love Red Tree so unbelievably much! I don't even know where to begin! Their seemingly never-ending selection of unique and interesting treasures is exceptional, and completely different from all other shops in the Butchertown/NULU area. Whether you're looking for a gift for (literally) any occasion, or just shopping for yourself, you will not leave here empty-handed. Every square inch of this store is well-curated and thoughtfully decorated with one-of-a-kind, bohemian, whimsical finds. All nooks and crannies showcase stylized vignettes of various products and styles. Candles, jewelry, furniture, kitchenware, home decor, lighting, greeting cards, ornaments, stickers, dried botanicals, statuary, outdoor art, rugs, cocktail mixers, frames, ceramics, textiles, glassware, artwork.... If they don't have it, you don't need it! Make sure to give yourself TIME while browsing- there are two floors, and a lovely outdoor area (which doubles as the perfect photo-op background!) If you told me I was only allowed to visit one store in the entire town of Louisville, this is my pick! I could LIVE here! The positive energy, music, and friendly employees make it all that much better of an experience to shop here! Highly HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!!

Red tee furniture is a massive multi floored furniture and home decor shop located in the popular and quirky Nulu neighborhood of Louisville Kentucky. Very thug about this shop is artistic and stands out. From the Nulu wildflowers mural by local artist Liz richter on the side exterior of the building, to the well placed and lovely decorated interior and finally to a wonderful alley that has not only more goods to shop for but a magical looking umbrella alley. The shop itself has a wide variety and is very cluttered but in an organized way. They have mainly home goods and furniture. Pricing is all over the place as they have lots of goods and lots of high end merchandise. Overall very cool store to shop at or just stop in and browse and pose for a few awesome photos ops. You could legit take family pictures or senior pictures for a school here. Great shop and a perfect placement for the Nulu neighborhood.

Outdoor decor - a gargoyle after my own heart

Walking in, you expect Red Tree to be a small boutique store, until you realize that there are multiple rooms, outdoor and upstairs to explore. And explore I did!! They offer everything from handmade jewelry from local artists, furniture, decor, and even garden decor. My favorite was a beautiful Gargoyle. I wish I had driven here - he would have come home with me. I was actually looking for a gift to take home to my friend who takes care of our pets when we visit Louisville. I found a cute little hand-painted bowl and some colorful bracelets. Just the cutest little gifts for her. Did I walk out with trinkets for myself? I sure did! Hand-made sugar skull earrings, a little mouse made of metal, and a Robot Christmas decoration. The store is just chock full of gorgeous pieces and is just a delight to walk around.

What an awesome find while walking around NuLu. We were intrigued by the window and walked in to find a two level store with so much stuff packed into it we list track of time. If I had a car I would've bought a lot of stuff and if I lived near here I'd be a frequent shopper. They have everything you can imagine. Great place to find gifts (I did) ! Come on in, you too will think it's fabulous! Check in on Yelp gets you a 10% off perk that I totally forgot to do! Btw... pictures do not do it justice.

Fun place to visit. Pricey but unique things to buy. Wouldn't call a furniture store. Fits the area.

I love to stop in Red Tree & wander about when I'm in the NuLu area. Super cute and unique finds from small trinkets to nicknacks to jewelry to large pieces of furniture. They definitely have something for everyone!

Before walking in you can already see how cute this store is by the mural outside! I stepped in an immediately fell in love. They have so many cute things in this store! They have unique and great decor as well as lovely furniture. Everywhere you go you can find cute wind chimes and hanging decor. Their little patio was also beautiful and you can see colorful umbrellas! I ended up purchasing a cute flower pot and I hope to come back one day :)

I truly feel like Alice in Wonderland when I go through Red Tree. It is a whole new world, full of beautiful home decor, furniture and antiques. When you first walk in, you see a small room, but don't even expect the small passageway to the left of the shop to lead to what it does. From there, you will find a couple of floors filled with random goodies. It almost feels like you are going through a home decor museum. There is also an outdoor patio with a water fountain that you can peruse around. Some of the stuff have moderate pricing while others are fairly expensive - just depending on the item. Whether you plan to buy or not though, you NEED to go in here if you are in Nulu with some spare time!!

Have you watched any of the Red Tree Nooners? Every day during quarantine, the owner Garwood and his niece Diana have been entertaining us with a saucy depiction of the items in the store. Fifty plus episodes are available on Instagram portraying items from napkins to lamps, home decor, outdoor planters and chimes, to spoons and coasters that speak the truth and can be the life of your guests conversations or the perfect gift for discriminating tastes. Items in the shows are available for purchase on their website. The store also sells furniture on the second floor. I have been watching the Red Tree Nooners every day during lunch. I purchased several planters including a pink pot with glasses that my daughter says looks like me, a Buddha planter and a lady face planter which put a smile on my face and also provide a little zen. Other mentionable items, are the colorful language kitchen towel that depicts the current vibes, and the naughty leather coasters that not only save your furniture but lift your spirits. I even found an adorable terra-cotta frog pot that hopped into my bag. Every purchase is tastefully packaged in their signature white bags with red tissue. I have been a customer of the store since I moved to Louisville several years ago. Shopping at Red Tree NuLu is an experience of discovery and wonder. I can always find something that I can't live without like jewelry, art pieces by local talent, and kitchen and bar items to name a few. If you are looking for an unique gift or piece of furniture, checkout Red Tree in the heart of NuLu or via their website. The store reopens on May 20th, but it is open now for curbside pickup, shipping or delivery. Check out the daily Red Tree Nooners during quarantine, but hurry to check out the full store experience when they open. I am sure going to miss the Nooners! Thank you Garwood and Diana for such a creative outlet!

One of the coolest boutiques in the Nulu area. Every time I'm in the area, I love to come here and browse at all the cool items. There are items ranging from trinkets, to books, furniture, and so much more. Staff is always so very friendly and welcome you upon entering the store. There are current COVID precautions in place and sanitizer upon entry. There is plenty of on street parking. Overall, I will continue to come back here over and over. If in the area I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Really cool store! I've always wanted to go in here. I'm not sure why I never have because I'm always in Nulu and have been to almost every store here. Anyway, lots of people were walking through here just looking around. I honestly didn't pay attention to even see where there was a cash register so I'm not sure where the workers were at. Still, it looked like it was a building that had previously been a house. There were numerous rooms to walk through and even an upstairs and a little garden and outside area with a small fountain. They have all kinds of things in here. Vintage stuff, cutesy stuff, UK and UofL decor, kitchen things, funny cards, paintings, etc. I would totally come back and purchase something. So much unique stuff! My friend said she had been here before for the gallery hop. Anyway, really cool shop!

We had some time in NuLu and stumbled upon Red Tree. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and encouraged us to explore the space and the courtyard. They have amazing things spread across many rooms and two floors. There is also custom furniture with lots of color options for customization. The items in this shop are so inspiring, I immediately wanted to redecorate my place! A must visit if you are in Louisville!

This is the first outlet in Louisville and was originally announced as a temporary location; however, it must be doing well enough to have stayed in place. It took over the space vacated by the now bankrupt Steinmart. There is nothing fancy about this spot. It very much feels like a dumping site for furniture and is organized by type/room. It is a land of rejected, broken pieces. The signage attempts to excite you - 50% off or more - but then you flip the tag to find out it is still outrageously overpriced on top of being broken. The facility is large, and most workers were either at the front desk or helping people wedge items into their trucks. I appreciated watching the quiet nature of the staff today as a customer carried on a conversation with the customer service team via her cell phone. She was a lot to handle and you could tell they didn't want to escalate the situation. Apparently this spot has a following. Bring a large pocketbook ... and duct tape.

My first and only complaint about the place was that it was hard for me to find. It sits on the corner with a couple of other buildings and it's a very busy area and their signage was not clear to me so I passed it a couple of times before realizing exactly where it was. It wasn't immediately apparent that there was parking in the back either. Once we figured that out, it's all good from there. Magnolia & Fig provides a light and pleasant space to shop for clothing, accessories, and other knickknacks. We were greeted warmly by the attendant, and she gives us the option to browse or asked us if we were looking for something specific. Once we told her what my friend was looking for and her size, the attendant got right to work, pulling dresses for her to try from the racks. We were brought eight or 10 different dresses to try in a small but nicely decorated fitting area. The two employees worked together to bring us outfits to try, giving us space and time to try each one, but giving opinions and thoughts, when asked to. They were very kind patient and efficient. They were sensitive to the needs of my friend as related to her disability without talking down to her or making her feel out of place. It was a very positive experience and we found the perfect dress for my friend's event. In the store, you will find lots of ladies clothing options in addition to some jewelry, hats, shoes and even pretty things for the home. I think my friend paid about $150 for the gorgeous dress and the earrings that she purchased. We would both recommend Magnolia & Fig for a fun boutique experience and a nice selection of clothing to choose from.
