Weeks and weeks pass by and I don't hear anything from Bone Dry regarding a date where they plan to come out and get the job done. I get text messages on April 30th, May 14th, and May 28th saying they eager to begin working on my roof. June 15th rolls around and nothing has been done or communicated. The issue had become much worse , where my gutter and gutter board were now detached from my home and laying across my patio. I call their office and speak to someone who says she will have someone reach out to me by EOD. I hear nothing. I call back the following day and notify them that no one reached out to me as they said they would. The person I spoke to told me she was going to contact the main boss (who was on family vacation) to see if someone could reach out to me. I finally hear from someone and they scheduled a crew to come out on June 17th to get the work done. The crew did in fact show the morning of June 17th and got the job done. As soon as the job was complete, I began getting mass amounts of text messages and phone calls to make sure I pay the invoice. Further, I experienced first hand that Abrams was excellent in their follow through with an admirably disciplined work ethic that I found exemplary. Further, I discovered too that Mr. Bishop is part of a military family that is Abrams and subsequently at its very core a disciplined mindset. Specifically, Company Founder Mr. Victor Abrams is a retired US Marine Corp Sergeant and Mr. Bishop as well a retired Sergeant serving the US Navy. Accordingly and in a workman like manner, Abrams replaced the guttering across the entire front of My Mother's Home and did so with unparalleled craftsmanship. When they were through with the job you would have never known they were even there as the work site was exited broom clean. What's more, upon completion, they sent to my Mother a lovely Christmas Card and thanking her for the opportunity to perform the work. When I visited my Mother afterwards she showed me the card and made the single statement, "Now that's Class". Appealingly, I took the liberty to herein quote the adage Mr. Bishop uses in closing his business letter as follows: "Do not convince your mind that it is right When in your heart you know it's wrong" Abrams Roofing and Sheet Metal is Class. Our experience with Mr. Roof was poor from beginning to end. This was not one isolated mistake, but…read morea pattern of problems throughout the project. Communication was consistently lacking. Crews showed up unexpectedly, we often had little information about scheduling or the status of the project, and we repeatedly had to follow up ourselves. The project also took far longer to complete than we reasonably expected. There were multiple execution problems. The wrong chimney cap was installed and later had to be replaced. We had concerns about how the siding was reattached and, after completion, close-up photos showed exposed metal, heavy sealant, irregular roof-to-chimney transitions, and areas that appear poorly finished. We have also repeatedly asked Mr. Roof for documentation showing that key contracted work, particularly concealed flashing and ice-and-water shield, was actually completed. Those requests have not been adequately answered. Mr. Roof has offered to waive the remaining half of the $10,200 contract and keep the $5,100 already paid. We do not consider that an adequate resolution while the quality and completion of the work remain in question. A professional roofing project should not involve this level of poor communication, delays, wrong parts, corrective work, and unanswered questions about what was actually completed. We have lost confidence in both the workmanship and the process and would not use or recommend Mr. Roof.

I contacted ProClaim Roofing and the representatives were very professional. They visited my house, assessed the damages, informed me of the insurance process and did not ask for any money up-front. (As a matter of fact, they did not ask for any money until after the work was completed, and satisfaction of the work was confirmed first!) ProClaim Roofing came to my home to assist with the repair process before the insurance company had even contacted me to schedule an adjuster to visit. They even secured protection on the roof to prevent any further damage until repairs were able to be made. The day that the insurance adjuster made their visit, the ProClaim Roofing team was on-site early and accompanied the insurance adjuster during visit to help evaluate the roof damages. The professional staff helped to familiarize the insurance adjuster with the repairs necessary. After the insurance claim quotation was made, the team was also able to identify additional items that were neglected in the original insurance quotation for the repairs.
