I used Yelp's Request A Quote to find a roofer/contractor. And considering our leak happened on a Sunday night, that's when I reached out to several companies. Many got back to me within the hour, including River City Vinyl Supply & Roofing. And if it weren't for a rainstorm on Monday, he would have come out that day. But he was able to come and look at the problem and have it fixed within an hour or so on Tuesday. John was speedy yet not pushy. He brought with him one of his employees, who actually got on our very tall roof to look at the problem. He talked through what he found with me and sent me a formal quote before proceeding. Turns out the flashing had pulled away from the chimney, and the mortar between several of the bricks had worn away. He showed me some photos of the roof to help me understand. After he was done, I was able to pay him easily via PayPal. And now we're talking to him about tackling our rickety, falling apart gutters as well. If i could give 0 stars I would. Kenny took forever to finish my soffit and gutter job. If he had…read moredone a good job I could live with the delays. Unfortunately in my experience his work is pretty pitiful. I had a lot of oil canning and waves in the fascia. The soffit was not installed level, he blamed it on the builder, but i took a level to it and there was no problem. The gutters were the worst of all his work. He installed 4" gutters and they could not handle the quantity of water running off the roof. He sent his repair guy to trouble shoot my issues. I asked the repair guy what the problem was... without hesitation he said gutters were too small. I confronted Kenny about this and He said it was my fault because I had requested 4" gutters (this is not true). Regardless, It is not the homeowners job to calculate gutter size, generally that is done by the professional installer. He refused to make it right until I left a bad review on Google about his company. After he saw the review, He then promised to replace the gutters with larger ones and fix the fascia issues. As soon as I took the review down, he refused to accept my calls. I pretty much gave up... I decided to put a negative review back up. I would feel guilty if anyone choose to use him without knowing what they are getting into. I feel they would just waste their money like i did and get a sub-standard job. I do not suggest using this company... you'll just have to have someone else redo the work in the end.

The upstairs in my home has always been 10 degrees or more warmer than the main level during the hot summer months in Louisville. The e-shield has done an excellent job.....the temperature difference between upstairs and main level has consistently been +2 degrees during continuous 90+ degree days in Louisville!.....The differential temp is barely detectable!
