Rude. Incompetent. Never come here. I got the $30 silver wash. The guy doing the cleaning and vacuuming by hand told me it would take 30 minutes. They did every car that came in and left mine untouched. When I asked them after 40 minute they yelled at me and told me to go to the front end and get a refund. Red Wave runs hot and cold. You never know what you will get. When they are good, they are really good. But when they fall short, it can be a frustrating experience. Today was one of those days. Short staffed and slow pace translated to nearly an hour wait - which I abandoned and bugged out knowing it would be at least another hour at their pace. Next trip I will ask and be more suspect before upgrading any wash to detail care. read more

Been a long time customer for years. Spend about $400 a year and was told my black F150 truck was too dirty to bring in today. They turned me away(mud behind the tires) ...never happened before and I'm pretty sure the owner would be mortified because my truck was not that dirty. Okay, I have to downgrade my rating to 3 stars. I've been coming here for a while, but some things have changed. First of all, the prices have gone up. Every wash is now $2 more (I know, I know, everything is more expensive now). Secondly, they are trying to mislead their customers. This has happened the last few times I've come through: I pay for my car wash, the guy hands me my card back and then "instructs" me to turn to the right after the wash and go into lane 1 or 2 (???????). At first, I thought they had changed their exit route after the car wash, but that's not it. They are purposefully telling you to go into the car detailing part of the business after your car wash so you will spend more money. After the wash, the left is the exit and the right is the detailing area with people waiting for you. DON'T FALL FOR THIS. Just ignore the guy and go left to exit or tell him no. I understand that they need to make money, but the staff has been instructed to mislead you to the detailing area so you will spend more money. I can't stand being lied to. read more

I liked this site in past, the detailers seem to have good knowledge of paint care on car. But recently they charged my daughter $99 on a visit she did not approve. Went through the wash and the car looked the same besides the dirt was scrubbed off. There was still stuff on my windows and they said it would be extra to take it off? Paid $45 for the platinum, and it's really nothing special. Waste of money really. Don't spend all your money for the extra interior, just wash it yourself. They didn't really do a good job. The guy who initially came up to me started telling me to back up for some reason with no explanation. I asked him why, he ignored me and walked away. I found out it was because the car in front of me was leaving. They didn't leave any air fresheners either which was a bit weird but whatever I guess? I moved here a few years ago and was excited to have a car wash on my block so I signed up for a monthly subscription. This would have been great experience if the interior service didn't take so long. After a couple months of this I dropped my package and only came here as a last resort or if I was in a hurry. So I went back this morning for the last time. I pulled up and it was empty, one car in the back bay. I payed for the works $45 car wash. Get the exterior done and pull into all the bay. I see car after car getting wiped off and leaving and after about 20-25 minutes I walk over and see that my car hasn't been touched by anyone. At this point F this place and I got my money back but still wasted my time and had to go somewhere else. So yea this place sucks, always has, and apparently always will. read more

Open until 7 pm. This is a self-vacuum location, which I prefer; the equipment is always operational and clean. I requested they spay the front grill and windshield with the degreaser "debugger" which they did that with some pre-scrubbing, made a big difference. I also paid for the towel dry, which was a great touch. I wandered into the customer waiting area(provided picture) very nice set up, coffee, water, juice. Good wash with tips about $20. This place always goes above and beyond! I bought a simple car wash and the manager told me I could add a $10 fender and grill revamp (basically darkens the black plastic fenders on my jeep to help with sun damage). I went through and got the extra detail package and was happy. I drove over to the vacuums to work on the interior myself. A few minutes go by and the manager (Fernando) approaches me saying they missed the fender add on and insisted I pull around to get this redone. He did this and my tires again himself! I am extremely appreciative of this attention to detail and attention to customer satisfaction. Fernando, you are amazing! read more

I have used this car wash a total of five times, each time having my vehicles "express" hand-waxed and detailed on the interiors. Overall, I am satisfied but there have been a couple of hiccups. The crew working this facility are friendly and accommodating, without giving one a sense of being a burden. All those with whom I dealt spoke good English and put sincere effort into communucating with me. Everyone with whom I have interacted have been friendly. The quality of the hand-waxing and exterior detailing have been impeccable, with attention given to inside door edge surfaces and frame - the one place most "detailers" skim over or sometimes even ignore. Not at this facility; I've not had to mention "missed" areas at all. As for shortcomings, I recently had my truck interior cleaned at Red Wave and whomever worked to clean my cloth armrest actually damaged the fabric by leaving scratches/scuffs through the polyester fibers. I did not mention it because, 1) I don't think it was apparently visible to someone who would have been hovering above the armrest whilst going over it with the cleaner head (I noticed the linear scuffing only when standing outside the truck and glancing across the top of the armrest.) and, 2) the polyster blend upholstery material - which, by the way, itches like crazy against my bare skin - is lacking in quality, susceptible to snagging and scuffing. Oh yeah, and it itches! The only other rub for me was that I purchased the VIP card with a $100 load, in order to receive $15 free. A few weeks ago, I had the hostess check my card balance, prior to purchase. I recalled it to be $80+ but the Red Wave point of sale showed only $26+. Since I'm getting a bit on in age, I thought perhaps I am mistaken. So, I ordered the $90+ worth of detailing and paid with my VIP card and a credit card. When I received my receipt, it showed $26+ aoplied from the VIP card with a $56+ balance remaining. Strange. Right?!? Then, a few days ago, I went to Red Wave again. Again, I purchased $90+ in detailing and brought to the attention of the hostess, the last occurrence having to do with the innacuracy of the point of sale. The hostess recalled the previous instance and even acknowledged that there was $50+ remaining after the last transaction. This time, the point of sale again showed only $26+ available on the card, only this time it showed $0 after applying the showed balance to my purchase. Although, I know there was more on the card, I did not make a major issue of it and resolved it as my last visit to Red Wave. In part because of this issue, but mostly because of the inconvenience of travel time for me to this location. So, on that note, if you choose to drive to Red Wave for their quality work and purchase a VIP card, keep your receipts and verify your balances! Red Wave also offers free WiFi for customers waiting on detailing. The password is not posted anywhere but after some research and a brief call to an off-duty manager, success! We have been coming here for a while, the entire family. We have noticed the cars don't come out as clean and the service is slowly getting worse. Yesterday my son went and got his brand new car washed. Came home not even 2 mile drive. Saw the car in front of him having issues exiting, experienced the same thing. As soon as he excited he felt the car jerking. We just bought these tires on Friday of last week. Today I called to speak to the manager to warn him so that he could assure what is wrong does not damage anyone else's vehicles. The manager does not let me speak. We have been customers there for years. It's very sad that he won't even let me speak and corrects what happened. I was not calling to get anything from anyone fortunately I need nothing. What I wanted was to give the car wash the heads up so that it did not happen to anyone else. He obviously had other damages and complaints . It's unbelievable to me that the manager treated me this way. We will no longer give our business to this place . I will also be letting the rest of our family and friends know that we were treated poorly. I will also warn others not to set foot at your car wash. Wash at your own risk! It's too bad when businesses hire incompetent IDIOTS as managers. This place will soon be out of business too. When you hire people with lack of customer service experience to take care of your customers it reflects very poorly on the owners. Never again! I paid $60 to have my daughter's car washed. When they were done I gave $12 for tip then noticed the passengers window/door still had sticky streaks on it. I asked why it's not cleaned and the guys said they would need to use something stronger and it would be an EXTRA $30 for him to get the sticky stuff off. I always come to this car wash and spend money here and they always let me use a towel to dry off my car better. Local Neighbor. I have been going to Red Wave for years. I came to have a full detail (which I have done in the past) at 1:30pm on Friday 5/14. It is now 3:30 and they are still not done with my car. I went to tell them I had to leave and they just now put on the leather treatment. No one told me it would be two hours and they are not busy! It has never taken this long for my car to be detailed. I'm so frustrated as not only has this been a horrible experience, but I am now captive to have to wait. Also, there are no bathrooms. Will be finding another full detail place. read more

I'm finally done coming here after years of business. The last two visits did me in and the most recent yesterday. Did the ownership change or did they just decide to charge as they see fit? Yesterday's experience was all about the 5.00 upcharge for a an SUV. Turns out I wasn't in an SUV. After that chaos I literally watched my vehicle sit for 40 min while the guy working this particular bay talked to others working in the other bay, walk over and talked to the guys working the tint area and then spend half of his time flirting with his co-worker. By the time my car was done all in was hour and 20 min for a wash and basic clean on the inside. My previous upcharge experience was 6.00 up charge after my son took his vehicle for a wash and got home with a windshield and grill with dead bugs from highway driving. Took the car back up there and they advised it was an upcharge. Ok so your power washer guys regardless spray the vehicle before entering and scrub brush the car every time. I bring the car back for a poor job and get hit with an upcharge. My advise do a better job, retain your loyal customers by respecting them and DO BETTER!! No more for me. read more

My go to car wash just a few block from home. During the virus crises that are still open and doing good job for them and us to stay safe. If using the vacuum service they give you a wipe for the hose. And block half the parking spots to keep us separate as of Apr 2020. They only take credit cards and order guy wears gloves. They are doing other things as well and have a sign posted on window by the vacuum hoses. BTW: if you have a magnetic label on outside of your car take it off as the wash might knock it off. read more

I got the super clean package and thats with interior and exterior clean. I get that the guy who was trying to move my car doesnt know how to operate a manual car when he ask for my keys and I said I can move it for him. No issue. The thing is, the exterior has so many spots from water with dust from back windshield unwiped and the stepper going into the car hasnt been wiped out with the shoes of the guy marked. When I ask if I can have a spray to my microfiber cloth for me to wipe it off they rolled their eyes. I asked very kindly. I don't think I have been treated this bad and was ignored. Please. Never again. I am a long time customer. I went there Thursday September August 31 and it was quite busy. There $19.00 entry level inside was was now $24.00. That was already troublesome. Well it better be cleaned right then Ok? I look at there are dust/dirt smudges on my tailgate mat and my front passenger seat. I asked for them to get some cleaner and clean the smudges off. A Hispanic "gentlemen" supervisor in a red shirt says "if you want the mats and seats done you need to pay for it." in a sarcastic tone in front of his employees. The reluctantly touched up those two spots. No sir , you are paying for it because car washes are everywhere and my GF is done too. After more than 3 years of owning my car, I decided that I couldn't take the dirty cloth seats anymore and need seats shampoo. My young kids spilled drinks in the car, mostly on the seats. DH called his fave car wash. They told him it was $127 for seat and floor mat shampoo, it was in Frisco. For the longest time, I've noticed car washes in Frisco charge higher prices than the ones in Plano. So we decided to come to Redwave. Once I pulled in, they quoted me $60 for seat and floor shampoo. I paid, then the attendant told me to go through the car wash machine, while in fact I didn't buy external wash, but going through the machine was the only way to get out of the way. So it was nice, I got to wash my car without paying. Left my car for about 50 min, when I came back, the seat and floor mat were wet, so couldn't tell if there were still stains left on them. Gave the cleaner $10 tip and drove off. Left my car outside in the scorching sun, left it overnight. This afternoon, the seats were dry. They cleaned out 90% of the stains, except for small brownish stains on front passenger seat. I think if they had scrubbed hard enough, they would've gotten the stains out. I'm slightly disappointed the stains were still there. For this reason, I am giving them a 4-star instead of a 5-star. Maybe I shouldn't have paid to get the floormat shampooed. When I got the receipt, it says $36 seats cleaning and $34 floormat cleaning. Then the attendant gave me $10 discount on the total. Perhaps I should have thrown away the floormat and buy new ones at Walmart, would have been cheaper, than paying $24 to shampoo it. Or do nothing to the floormat, they are black anyway. They also vacuumed the floor for the price. Next time I'll just ask for seats shampoo and ask for vacuuming to drive down the cost. read more

My daughter and I took her car here after a flock of birds had splattered all over it. We got the $9 wash, thinking it would be more effective than the $6 one. After going through, we parked outside to use the vacuums and realized that the car wasn't at all clean - still plenty of seeds and brown stuff. When we drove back around and showed them our car, we asked if we could go back through the wash again but they wouldn't let us unless we paid again! (I will say that the second time through, they did make much more of an effort with the pre-wash spraying and brushing and it ended up mostly clean). So we ended up having to pay twice. read more

Once you pay the $6, all the cleaning included, automatic car wash with plenty of bubbles and water like thunder, orange color lighting, drying, drive through, and so fast and simple!!! When I was young, going a public sauna on Sunday was a ritual in my old country. Taking all kinds of shampoos and conditioner, facial soups, green and pink exfoliation towels, new towels which was hard to absorb, ands in a basket a bottle of soda in case of being thirsty in a hot tub, it was very reluctant ritual that I didn't want to go sauna early in the morning with my family: men going into the men's sauna, my mom and I into the women's. Separating. Exhausted. OMG! It took more than 2hours to wash my body. However, after the bath, my feeling so good. Very clean and felt as if I could fly away without wings. I went to the Red Wave to get my car washed. It starts with a person using a pressure washer spray gun that puts out 1600 PSI. During this stage they sheared off my Acura Integra"s front badge. These guys used to be Quick n Clean car wash, but they were recently purchased and renamed. The staff hasn't changed though and I've been a few times since the change in management to verify that everything is still solid. Not quite sure why there was all the hate for these guys on the old name. I have a monthly pass and have never been treated rudely. Even the teenage girls at the register the last time I went were all smiles and happy. It is an interesting setup if you're doing the self-wash (which I do). You pull into a stall to vacuum and empty trash from your car first (great for me with a toddler!). Then you drive around and either pay or have them scan your monthly pass sticker. Next you drive through and off you go! I actually have the $15 a month pass and I probably run through the car wash at least once a week. Now that it's unlimited I like that I can keep my car clean! Never had any issues with staff or with my car leaving still dirty. It's simple and easy and well-located. read more

I've been coming here for the last few months after my husband purchased a monthly membership package for me. My car has never been so clean! It's convenient driving through, they first clean off your front and back windshield to make sure that any debris either comes loose or is wiped clean off from the get go. The first time I came here was 3 years ago they left water stains and didn't get my wheels cleaned all the way but I didn't stop coming because of the free vacuums but today I finally used their full service again and it was awful, my car was semi clean at best. Another thing I find really annoying about this place is when u get the bogo on the car wash it will expire in 1 week, what if ur rains or u don't need it. I went to this place recently last week and got the $89.99 Detail. that comes with a machine wax and interior detail. And after I ran it threw the tunnel I dropped it off to the "detail station" as I leave the car wash with my brother to eat lunch. I come back and observe the interior detail still being done. As I continue to observe the workers finish up with the interior. As they go into the next process of waxing I see the employee that's about to wax it try to use what looked like a light yellow buffing pad once before and what now is a very dirty, very black and old buffing pad. As I notice the buffing pad I tell the worker I wanted it to be changed to not make scratches or swirls in my paint etc. as I sit there to tell him this. He tells me there is no more buffing pads that they've ran out, with a very sarcastic smile. As I continue to tell him I don't want that buffing pad on my vehicle. he tells me to take it up with the so called "manager" named Oscar I believe. I continue to tell him the situation and he sits there and tells me that a old dirty used up buffing pad will not harm my paint. I know he's feeding me lies as I try pleading my case, he go's on and saids to me I've been doing this for 40 f***ing years I know what I'm doing. Absolutely AWFUL!! WASH AT YOUR OWN RISK!! You will get dirt ground into your paint and wind up with swirl marks. Will not go back. The service is horrible. Santiago was selling the washes. My car was pretty dirty, so I asked if I bought the most expensive, non-human drying wash, could I run my car back through if it didn't get all the dirt off. Santiago said ABSOLUTELY NOT and I would have to buy another wash. I asked if the wash would get all the dirt off since it's the best wash, and Santiago said it would. Therefore I asked what would be the resolve if the most expensive wash didn't get all the dirt off but he stated it would. Santiago repeated that I would have to buy another wash, or I could pay and upcharge and have my car dried. I wound up paying the upgraded fee for the towel dry. Paying extra was the BIGGEST MISTAKE!! After the wash you drive over to a stall and have your vehicle hand dried. What they don't tell you is the towels used to wipe down your wheels and any other leftover filth will be ran all over your paint and your windows. This carries a very high probability of scratches and smearing your windows. Finally, my wheels looked worse than when I arrived. I went to Santiago, who appeared to have left all his "f's" to give somewhere else. The manager came over, and I showed him the results of this $18 "wash." The manager tried to tell me that my wheels were clean and all the observed dirt was scratches in the wheels. I told him to run his fingers through the "scratches." He refused and then he did run his fingers through after I ran mine to show him that it was indeed, DIRT. To make a long story short, he had his minions clean my wheels 2 more times, and they finally removed the dirt once they used clean towels. I've met the owner, and the owner is a standup guy. However, he has left his establishment in the hands of someone set on driving it into the ground. There is a high lack of accountability, empathy, sincerity, and if anything goes wrong it will be upto you to prove they didn't damage your vehicle. WASH AT YOUR OWN RISK!! read more

I got my car detailed today, paid 140.00 $ for 4 combo package and felt I was completely ripped off and cheated at this location. I left the car for 3 hours and the only thing that was done was carpet vacuum, wiping the glass, external hand wax and tire wax. Nothing was wiped inside on the dash, and other door surfaces, I could literally wipe the dust with my hand. The stains on the car seats remained the same just as I left the car before. The manager told me to come to back for dry cleaning and they can try to clean the car seat but otherwise nothing can be done. I am sure for 140 $ I could have brought some really expensive car covers and made the interior much more beautiful. I am never going back to this place, and I recommend don't go for anything other than a car wash. read more

It's ok nothing to brag about to be honest but they did get the bugs off which was all I wanted.

This place is okay for a quick car wash but it wasn't really what I expected. For $18 I got a drive thru wash and a quick hand dry of the outside and it looks like maybe the tires sprayed down. I then had to vacuum the inside myself and the inside of the windows were not wiped down so I had to do that myself after. Overall there are definitely better options for the price . read more

Extremely happy with this mini detail. It was almost 100° out and I showed up close to closing time. I really didn't expect too much out of these guys, especially for $45! I was pleasantly surprised! They did a fantastic mini detail job. Although I felt as though he did close to a full detail! I'm so anal about getting my car wash as I typically wash it myself. But the dirty was beyond what it needed at my level of car washing expertise. I feel bad only tipping him $8. I'll go back today and slip him another $10! Highly recommended!!! read more

Don't waste your money on this place. I paid for the full interior detail package and what a dispointment it was. The dash, cup holders and doors were not wiped down AT ALL and had to point out the areas to the guys working. Zero attention to detail. Exterior was semi wiped down and honestly not worth the $38.
