Great location downtown Prescott and restaurant was nicely remodeled. The reason I give it 3 stars is because the food was mediocre. We did start with an appetizer of asparagus fries, which were to die for, except very hard to eat given the nature of asparagus. Very stringy so you almost had to consume in one whole bite. Not a good first date appetizer. My husband ordered the salmon with butternut squash ravioli. The salmon had no flavor. The only thing it had going was the bourbon sauce. I ordered the pesto chicken tortellini. It had the potential to be good but again, lacking that pizzazz of flavor. El Gato has a similar dish that is better with more tomatoes and a balsamic glaze. Over priced Applebees style food. Service was great, but the drinks and food were ok at best. My husband ordered an old fashion, which was just pure whiskey and not great. I ordered a mule and honestly, it was just too busy and not a great flavor. My husband got the sausage sandwich thing and I got a burger. The food was ok, but cold and bland. The bun on the sausage sandwich was soggy and my food was cold and there wasn't any kind of sauce in the burger. We ordered grilled cheese for our toddler. The sandwich was cold, with the cheese being hard. The broccoli looked it was frozen and then microwaved. It was also cold. All around, way over priced and not a great eat. read more

Coming from someone used to dining in Central Phoenix/Scottsdale, moving to Prescott has been a huge disappointment for my palate. The "best" restaurants that people rave about are the ones I tend to stay away from because its about the politics or the trendy atmosphere, not the food or service. The demographic here only stands for fast and familiar which is why we have Taco Bell, Denny's, and McDonald's right? RWB was not a disappointment and is actually one of my favorite spots, I will take the wait because the food is delicious, they are always on top of cleaning, and the staff is all extremely friendly. They have a great alcohol selection and their appetizers are so good. Even if this is not your cup of tea, please remember we have fewer dine in options as it is right now. Stop creating the demand for quick greasy burger joints. read more

Unbelievable food!! I love liver with onions with beacon. Have bee eating this since I was a small child with parents. It came with 2 sides I picked garlic spinach & Caesar salad. There was enough food left over for tonight's dinner. Service was on point. The owner came over to our table to ask how we were enjoying our dinner since this was our first experience to RWB. This place is our go to restaurant. The service and food are excellent. We always ask to be seated towards the back area because it can get loud in the main dining area. Quite honestly, the worst 2 entrees my husband and I ever had at a restaurant. His New York Strip was 1/4 in thick. Server talked me into a culotte steak which was so over- marinated , it was mushy and mealy. The side garden salad was bitter - salad dressing couldn't disguise the taste . We couldn't help but to notice how professionally they handled a difficult customer (not our table) and was highly impressed with the skillful and eloquent way they handled her. Great job ladies. This is our 'go to' restaurant in Prescott. We've lived here 10 years, and RWB is the most consistent. Their food is always done perfectly, and the wait staff are pleasant and helpful. I always get their mussels (an appetizer) as my meal and it's more than enough for me. My husband and I share the brussel sprouts appetizer and while many restaurants offer this item, it's the best here. We know than when we go in, our meal will be fairly priced, tasty and consistent. Our party of five dined here relatively early on New Years Eve. The Romano crusted chicken over fettuccine, chicken Marsala, chicken club sandwich, and garlic seasoned spinach received favorable reviews, but the New York strip steak was remarkably unremarkable to disappointing. The broccoli side dish could benefit from imagination and creativity in the kitchen; otherwise, it's just steamed broccoli florets, nothing special. The carrot cake and flourless chocolate cake were excellent! One would think the word, "Brew", in a restaurant name would automatically imply a robust selection of craft beers. Unfortunately, that isn't the case at this restaurant, most disappointing. A word of caution, the noise level was significant and problematic to conversation at our table. This might be remedied by installing acoustic dampers on the hardened walls; otherwise, the noise level in particular and overall experience is discouraging to additional visits. I will dine here once again with caution and astute observation, if not only for the dessert, but in an attempt to see another restaurant succeed in Prescott; however, Red, White & Brew has ample opportunity for improvement. We decided to give RWB a try since it had opened under the new name. We ha a great food server named Ann. Th menu was fairly simple. Three guests ordered hamburgers while I ordered the Chicken Marsala. They mentioned that their burgers were good not great. I ordered a Caesar salad which was great. The entree was good not great. The Marsala sauce could have been more flavorful. Kinda weak. I received three big chicken pieces which was a little more than needed. We will be going back to try more menu items.
