Ok , so it's that time when duty calls and I have to search for and decide on a new pair of workboots. Fortunately my employer pitched and provided me with a voucher as one of thier benefits. I attempted to go to the location in Brighton last week but unfortunately there was only one associate working and there were 3-4 potential customers ahead of me so I opted for the Thornton location, this week to give it another go. I walked just after opening and was greeted by Ms. Sandra. Who also winded up being my consultant on picking a new pair of boots. I explained my working conditions and what was important to me in a boot. After listening to my needs she walked me over to the for possibly lack of the correct term "fit right" analization area/ system. This system measures both feet and than you perform a walk test to see how your feet actually walk and make contact with the ground therefor enabling them to provide inserts for your boots/ hikers if needed. After that we discussed which boots would be best for my feet and working conditions. She explained the pros and cons of particular boots and I selected a free different ones to try on, she willing went to the back to check stock and returned for the try-on process. During this process I was fortunate enough to have the attention of both consultants Sandy and Travis, as I was the only customer for a brief period. They both willing answered all my questions and offered additional information that I did not think to ask. Even the different brands that they carried including Worx, Irish Setter, and Red Wing . Comparable on a grading scale as to good,better , and Best. They also offer many accessories including socks,gloves,hats and any and all maintenance needs for the upkeep of your new boots/shoes, plus many other items I did not mention. So in the end would I recommend? , most definitely! But I would recommend to set aside some time to really take a look and ask questions and try on different styles and be open to thier knowledge and expertise because to be honest, going in I wasn't going to buy the inserts because I've had them before and didn't think they did much to help but just thinking about it and listening to them both I figured why could it hurt because they do give you 30 days to return them if you don't think they are working out . So what's the harm? But it's all up to you. But trust your judgment as I did listen to them but pick your boots because they are your feet. read more

Don't try there foot machine just get the size you always get at any other store because the boots stretch like crazy within a week they have a bigger size then usual cuz of that machine and now the boots fit way to big read more

I could not enter the Thornton CO location because I feared for my life. I was harassed by what looked like gang members in the parking lot. The area is not safe anymore. There needs to be security. I have conceal carry the last several years because Colorado is no longer safe. No one should go to this area without some way to defend yourself. read more

I called all over the place to find a specific pair of boots. I found the pair at this store! The person I was working with was very nice and said they were a popular boot so she took down my name and put them on hold for me. When I walked into the store everyone was very busy. The store was a bit understaffed for how many people were in this store. Once she was available she brought my boots out of the back and had them laced and she suggested the specific inserts and treatment options for this "rare" boot. I highly recommend this store. It's hands down one of the better Red Wing Stores in the area! read more

Horrible customer service. I walk in the store and the young lady attempted to help me. I told her exactly what I wanted showed her the shoe I wanted to buy. She walked into the back of the store and said she did not have the size. She measured me for. I asked for a different size. The phone rang and she answered it. 20 minutes later began to walk out the store. She watched me walk out. I waved goodbye. The company I work for was paying for the shoes through a voucher with red wing. I guess ill try another store. read more

Got sold a boots (280$) then after 1 day made my feet feel worse than any other boot I worse. And yes I've broke in boots before, the way the boot was sitting on my ankle made my whole leg hurt. Tired to exchange them for a different type of boot. Tried to get my money back. Nothing. Now I'm stuck with boots that kill my feet and a decent chunk out of my pocket. I've been dealing with Dave there since he was running the store on Franklin St. He has always been helpful in getting me a boot that would work best for my needs. I have been a trashman, a class A food delivery driver, and landscaper. He has always helped me find the best fit and pick the boot that worked best for the task. I will continue to go back to see him for all my work boot needs. read more

Such an awesome store. The team was friendly. I had a pair I thought was the right size. I wore them for a day and exchanged them. No questions asked. Talk about the most comfortable shoes ever. My feet hurt so bad before with my old work boots and now I have steal toe shoes and it's like wearing gym shoes. read more

Called up the store due to the Red Wing Boots I bought and wore only for 2 weeks shrunk. Could not get them on. Henry was very hard to talk to because he kept cutting me off and talking over me. First saying I bought the wrong size and than calling me a lair. I didn't want to go to the store and asked for the name and address for the cobbler they use. He told me I had to come down the the store first. Went down to the store the next day. Brad seemed to be really helpful and have a idea to fix them. Henry jump in and cut Brad off refusing to let him finish. Told me I had to throw a way my brand new boots. I tried to keep talking to Brad but Henry kept over talking everyone. I told Henry I was done talking to him and was talking to Brad. Henry responded by getting right in my face like he wanted to start fighting. Which I backed up and told to him get the hell a way from me. Which he responded by telling his coworkers to call 911. They both looked at him like he was crazy, neither made the phone called. Their was another customer in the store as well. Henry had also said boots don't shrink and that my boots were fried. I don't know the difference. Brad got me the business card for the cobbler and I got the hell out of there! Went to the cobbler were the guy behind the counter said he never saw a pair of boots shrink so bad. He said he was surprised that they looked brand new. But he could fix them! And to make a full disclosure my buddy got these boots with his safety points through his company. I understand I don't have a receipt and that is on me. I do not and never did expect Red Wing to replace them. All I wanted is to try and get these boots fixed. If Red Wing offered to help out with the cost that would be cool but not expected. I did have 2 coats of Red Wing Natureseal on them. read more
