I brought them back in, and he "kinda" fixed them. Not really. All I said to him was, "If I can pull this heel off with my hands, I want a refund for the repair" He said sure, go ahead, try. I pulled the heel off, and he started slamming his fists on the counter and screaming at me! With another customer in the store (sorry to the woman standing behind me who had to witness that) Don't waste your money- unless you want to overpay for a shoddy repair with no guarantees. I took it out of there and brought it to Cayouette's Leather Repair. He looked at all the straps that needed reinforcement and quoted me almost half of what the other place gave me. I was happy to get a good deal. A couple of days later I got a text saying my repair was completed. I came by to pick it up and we had to look for the bag. I was looking at the prices on the tag and we couldn't find it. So I looked for my phone number and there it was: more than half the price OFF of what he originally quoted me. Not only did he fix the broken strap but he reinforced ALL of them and charged me so much less than I ever expected. I left with tears of joy and gave him a $7 tip. What a great guy and nice person to do business with. I tell you, he was worth the trip. Now to find all my favorite shoes and keep him busy!!
