Our waitress, Destiny, was very nice and came by often to check if we needed anything. She told us that the hot mustard is home made in-house (everything is made in-house she said ) It was nice that the portions matched the price - three veggie filled Egg Foo Young portions for me. I enjoyed the addition of big tender chunks of pork in it. My husband had the Dinner Wok Roasted Chicken. Big chunks of chicken, thinly breaded with a sweet flavorful sauce. Crunchy on the outside and still moist on the inside. Neither one of use could finish our meal. We sipped on hot Green Tea but noticed they have a Buy 2, Get 1 free Bubble Tea sign, so we will be back to try the Bubble Tea. Also, they have duck on the menu so we are definitely coming back to try more dishes!

Second time we tried Red Wok; about a year apart. Absolutely the worse food ever. Pork was 95% fat, Chicken was hard and dry, and Wontons in the soup were overcooked and mushy. No point mentioning taste; there was none. I never bother giving negative reviews, but this is a matter of 'buyer beware'.

We Really love Red Wok !! We told dozens of people we can't find good Chinese food in Vero Beach. We only had one Chinese restaurant we loved in all of Miami. So yes we are very picky in a good way to review Red Wok. The Ambiance we would say funky & Fun. The staff and owner were extremely welcoming. Plenty of parking. My wife normally won't try new Chinese restaurants due to past disappointments. The menu was very unique and the prices? I found them excellent value. I don't understand why anyone would complain about prices ?? You can look up the menu online. So get over it on any restaurant ! Fees for credit card processing I get it but it's the times now. Not worth a mention "Grow up Vero " Now the food we ordered was truly amazing ! Bravo. I had an old family favorite that my dad used to order when we were kids. Shrimp Egg Foo Young. Best one I ever ordered in my life. No one ever came close to mastering that dish. My wife ordered a traditional beef dish and absolutely loved it We are very pleased and can't wait for our children to join us soon. As far as calling out the owner's children. That's not necessary. If that bothers you stay home, more food awesome food for us and our family. Enjoying good health. Oh PS we had plenty of leftovers and were packed appropriately

I always say, presentation and quality of the first bite decides if I will go back -- I'll be back!! The food was very fresh, hot and the plates overflow. The welcome was polite and positive, and service fast and the waitress keeps up with the tables and is very nice. The inside sits plenty and space is adequate for staff and diners, it's a little old school and may have been a family dining place in the past, love it. Well pictures are nice but food better in person. Hope you enjoy as much as we did if you stop in.

Came to check this place out that my sister recommended and it did not disappoint. Once I heard it was Chinese and Vietnamese I came for the Pho. I ordered the pho special, house special fried rice and was very pleased. Will definitely come back to try other things on the menu.

Red Wok's welcoming ambiance was pleasing. It was clean inside & had great costumer service, very friendly workers. We did take out & the food was at a good portion size. Very tasty and flavorful. I had the Mongolian Chicken - LOVED it. My grandmother had the Orange Chicken and we both agreed it had a perfect spice level and was great. We also got an egg drop soup & was good as well! Will definitely come back & is now my favorite Vietnamese spot in Vero! ~ finally xx

This is the best Chinese we have had since leaving Kansas City. It is definitely pricy but worth it.

They had a whole shrimp with the tail still on wrapped in a spring roll wrapper, plus a few julienned carrots and deep fried. The shrimp was overcooked and lacked that umami Vietnamese flavor. I expected something more traditional like minced shrimp with garlic, diced onions, carrots, fish sauce, and maybe mung bean noodles for texture and to help with moisture, then deep-fried for that crisp bite and perfectly cooked filling. The crispiness of the wrapper was on point! The pork banh mi was better. The roll was soft with a nice crispy exterior, and the pork was well-seasoned with plenty of pickled carrots and cilantro. I liked the fresh jalapeños instead of pickled ones. However, it missed a creamy binder like mayo, garlic chilli paste, and the use of a sub roll instead of a traditional baguette threw off the bread-to-meat ratio -- too much bread for the filling. Overall, it was okay for the price, but it didn't quite hit the mark for a classic banh mi. Vietnamese cooking is near and dear to my heart. It's one of my favorite cuisines to eat and make. If you've never tried Vietnamese cooking and live local, I would suggest giving this place a try. One thing to note, credit card fees are added to the bill. This time i paid in cash.

It felt like you were invited into a small home, eclectically decorated, for good dining. I was immediately seated and a server brought a complimentary bowl of ginger chicken and rice soup and a small plate of delicately cut vegetables and fruit-enough to 'amuse the mouth'. I chose the sushi combo ($15.99); six pieces of fresh fish and the chef's recipe for sticky rice. It was delicious. The California roll was very good as well. A side of cubed raw fish and raw vegetables were tossed in a sweet and sour marinade. I asked for extra pickled ginger but only a small amount was sided with the wasabi. The iced tea in a tall glass was refilled and was only so-so. The chef came out for a satisfaction check and a greeting. I promised a return to sample more of the lunch and dinner selections.

The waitress was knowledgeable and took the time to explain the complimentary chicken ginger rice soup, which was a nice touch. Started with a roll that hit the spot, then had the beef Pad Thai. Good portion, solid flavor, tender beef, and noodles cooked right without being overly oily. Lime and peanuts on the side let you adjust it how you want. Reliable, fast, and satisfying. A great option for a weekday lunch when you're short on time but still want something good. Would come back.
