    Chicken nuggets

I asked for a meal for my 2-year-old and was charged $20 for seven frozen chicken nuggets. They were rubbery, overly salty, and clearly not worth the price. When I said I couldn't believe it was $20, instead of offering an alternative or trying to make it right, the only response I got was, "Sorry, love," which came across as dismissive and creepy. I won't be back.

Every time I'm at the Brentwood Country Mart I see this place and wonder how the food tastes. Cause I see a lot of people eating from here. I was at the mart for a business meeting and decided to have lunch here. Unfriendly staff, cash only business. The first two negatives .. Good thing I had some cash on hand. I ordered the 4 pcs chicken strips with fries and a coleslaw for $23 ... the fries were good but the chicken strips not so good. Very dry and tasteless. The coleslaw was average tasting. Nothing special either. Maybe I ordered the wrong things from the menu, maybe not ... I don't know but I was pretty disappointed. I was really hoping for great tasting chicken strips.

Pretty good basic steak sandwich, would be better with some onions. French roll was decent. Owner was very nice. Fries were good too.

Reddi chick is very nostalgic. Classic fried food, to be honest, it's obvious a lot of the items are frozen and refried, but that doesn't mean it's not delicious. It is delicious. We always get the tender basket and a side of curly fries. Get all the sauces, ketchup, ranch, and bbq. It is a cash only establishment. There is a lot of places to sit and enjoy on the patio. You can also get your parking validated.

I was disappointed. My only preface is that we arrived at 630ish, maybe 30 minutes before closing. What you see plus a baked potato and 2 drinks cost $55 (cash only spot). My chicken was clearly just sitting there in the warming oven in frot, and was expectedly dry. Absolutely nothing special or outstanding about the spot. The best thing was the onion rings. I was concerned my baked potato had mold on the skin (unless scattered black dots on a potato is normal?). Anyways, 2 trips to the pretentious Brentwood Country Mart and I was left disappointed both times.

Stopped by BCM to do some shopping. I normally would skip RCB because the wait and the line are just way too long. However, today, there were no line and no wait, so we decided to just get something to nibble because after all it is "fast food". Anyways, the seafood combo was good, but the cole slaw was not. Cole slaw had a weird taste and who puts green onions in cole slaw....?? The baked potato was good, but next time, I'd probably just get a plain one with butter. All and all, it was an ok/good experience. I wouldn't go crazy. Maybe I'll try the chicken since that is what most people order here. Oh, yes, please bring your vaccinated cash because it is cash only. So a 3.9 rounding off.

I was on my way home after a hike in the palisades and my friend said he knew a chicken place nearby we should go to, so we went to reddi chick. For starters this place has so many options from seafood to just your standard chicken. Me and my friends all got the chicken tenders basket which comes with 4 tenders, fries, and some barbecue sauce. We also got ranch and ketchup on the side as well. This chicken is some of the best I've ever had. The breading is perfectly crispy and crunchy, while the chicken cutlet itself is just thin enough that it isn't too hot and gets a crunch in every bite. The chicken pieces are also spectacularly long and large, so you really feel like you're getting a good amount of food. The fries were insane. Cooked perfectly and not overly crispy but not soggy kept me stuffing my face with them. Everything about the meal was absolutely fantastic. The service was quick, easy, and kind. The servers were quick to get me a water cup and my extra sauces. The only thing to be aware of is that they take cash only, so come prepared.

I used to eat here all the time when I lived in BW- lots of great memories sitting in the picnic benches, eating my Reddi Chick and people watching... I ordered the chicken nugget basket and chicken tender basket - kind of expensive-$12 each, the nuggets reminded me of the Golden Arches, which I think is a 3 star rating .. the chicken tenders were good, but the fries were soggy and I didn't taste any seasoned salt...,3 stars for the fries, I prefer crispy fries..

Wing Basket with Coleslaw... love their coleslaw, and I'm snob when it comes to Coleslaw! Shrimp Basket, BBQ, tartar, and cocktail sauce.

Love this place! I've had everything on the menu and this place don't miss! The Ribs and Wings are my favorite, and I love a dark meat basket. One of kind BBQ sauce, one of kind seasoning. This place is special! I love the vibe at the Brentwood Country Mart, you never know who you're going to see! The staff is great, almost always busy and they do a good job of taking care of the orders, without sacrificing quality. If you haven't eaten here, you're missing an experience! They are CASH ONLY, so bring cash!

Besides the AB's, it calls for uber doses of protein for healing. The order was all protein. I had to throw it all away and went to bed hungry. I called and spoke to Miguel and Polita, the manager, this afternoon at HC. Not only was Polita incredibly gracious and apologetic, she and Miguel made good and bagged up my protein for tonight - with a few extras to make me smile through the pain. When I showed up with my walker - they were all smiles, love and gratitude to help someone in need. And, peeps, the grub was awesome. Probably 'cuz of all the love. Unfortunately, when we got there, we were turns away by the cashier. We got to the restaurant between 820 and 8:25 PM. knowing the restaurant closes at 9 PM, which we felt there was enough time. Went we decided what we wanted to eat, the cashier said we can only take out and not sit in the dining room. We were so upset because we drove 20 minutes out of our way to eat there. There was nothing posted about not being able to eat in the dining room after 830PM. This is a very bad business practice and the owner should talk to their employees about turning away guests. This review represents our experience trying to get a meal at Holy Cow, not on the food because we never had the opportunity to eat there. By the way there were several table occupied by guests eating. Very frustrating!!
