If you have ever called any electricians, you should know most electricians bill based on trip charge (basic fee) plus labor time and material. Even they do nothing, they still charge for just showing up at the door. I was very happy that Daniel was willing to come out to give me a free estimate. This just makes him distinguishable from other electricians. He gave me a very detailed estimate. The price was reasonable, so I accepted it. Later I told him that I might need to replace an indoor outlet as it's loose. He offered to do it for free! What a wonderful customer service! Moses was the one who actually showed up to do the work. He's very polite and friendly. He explained to me his work. He was very patient with me when I didn't understand his explanation. He was great to work with. He also cleaned up after his work. His work showed a very good quality. I would highly recommend Strands Electric. Of course, whenever I need someone to do some electrical work, I will call Strands Electric.

Moath will not attempt to sell you on things you do not need and will not try to confuse you with multiple unnecessary options or pass you around to multiple points of contact. He will know what you need and provide an honest quote. After delivering the quote, he will allow you to make your own decision without constantly texting, emailing or calling for an answer. That is one of the qualities I appreciate as a customer. Upon his arrival he got to work right away. His work is meticulous. His wiring organization is superb, his cuts into the wall were clean & asked us for input on how we would like to run new wires. He answered any questions we had. He is professional, respectful, polite, prompt, trustworthy & efficient. I will also leave this note for you all to read as well because the person who referred me to Moath prefers not to leave online reviews: Moath was called to solve an electrical issue when a big company was not able to figure out. This company charged us $300 for the visit (mind you, they didn't fix anything). Marcus came out to take a look, suggested some cleanup and breaker replacements, and did the job within a day. I have seriously not had a single breaker trip since then, which is amazing since before I was having to trek out there a couple times a day. He acted professionally, and he even let me watch him install the new breakers. My only minor concern is he only hand tightened the screws "good and tight", instead of tightening them according to the 36(inch pounds) specification that was written on the breaker installation instructions, and on the new breakers themselves, when he installed the new breakers. Karlin said that this is the common practice among electricians and that very few, if any, bother to follow the inch pound torque standard when tightening circuit breakers. Also, it would have required use of a special expensive inch pound torque wrench that must undergo annual inspection and certification. (What a pay cut! Ouch!) These facts for now allay my concern enough that I can see myself hiring this firm again to do electrical work for me in the future. I say this especially since Karlin was an easy person to work with.
