I absolutely love this church! I have been attending the Young Adults program called 7TEN and everyone is so kind and welcoming. Sunday morning teachings are spot on and detailed and you can't go wrong with a coffee shop that is open throughout the week. The worship music varies from a more subdued Adult Contemporary in the chapel at 8am, to a more upbeat Adult Contemporary in the chapel and conference center (video feed for the teaching) at 10am, the 4pm and 6pm. Redemption Church which was formally known as East Valley Bible Church. 3 churches revolved into one. I've been attending this church for over 3 years now and I have never been in a better place. The people are great. The pastor staff are great! The times of the services here in Gilbert are 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 4 p.m., & 6 p.m I attend the 10:30am service in the conference center where there are great contemporary music performed by a live band. After the praise and worship we can watch the message on a projection screen. If anyone is looking for a great church to go to. I would suggest coming to Redemption Church, there are 3 locations Arcadia located 4141 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ and their service times are 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Other Location is Tempe 2150 E. Southern Ave., Tempe, AZ service times are 10 a.m., 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. I attend the Gilbert location. read more

I called to see if this church had cars that had been donated available for people in need, I was told yes. Then asked if I attended the church, I then said no and was immediately told that they had no cars. As being a Christian myself, this is just plain rude. I am sad to say I will never attend this church just for that reason, as I hope no one will support people who aren't really helping people in need wether they attend your church or not. I didn't think that should have to be a deciding factor on who should receive help. I am truly disgusted. read more

This church is all about the "show." Band is "look at me" and not at Christ. Hipster doesn't begin to cover it. The music is repetitive, often includes unbiblical lyrics and is disconnected from the message/service. Sermons can be good but many speakers are more interested in telling stories/trying to be funny/cool than teaching the Bible. read more

A place for people to gather and worship our Lord. Friendly people greeting you before and during the service. Large Gilbert campus, so you have to reach out to the information desk for involvement. I love this church! Growing up Catholic I was believing that there was this checklist I needed to have in order to earn my way into Heaven. Redemption opened my eyes and my heart! Christ as my Savior and His grace is my road. The worship team is amazing and so lively! I feel Him during every worship. Pastor Tim is so inspiring, honest and endearing! The children's ministry leaves me in awe. My daughters love attending and learning about God's love. The staff really connects with the kids and helps them thrive in Him. Great church and great leadership! We have gone to Redemption Gilbert for 2 years and I have to say that it is truly amazing. We had gone to other churches before that are non-denominational, Bible centered churches, but Redemption was much different than any other and the leadership brought us to know the Lord and be reborn. Really really good church! It's great for people just starting to go to church or for people who have gone to church a long time. They do a great job of catering to all audiences, but it's probably best-tailored to younger families and to millennials. I would've given it 5 stars, but the one drawback is that it's a really big congregation, so you have to put in a lot of time and effort to make connections (like go to a weekday bible study and/or join a small group, thereby going to church two or three times per week). Teaching is excellent, both in the Sunday services and the Tuesday night College(ish) group called 7Ten. Meanwhile, the music is about as good as it gets. FANTASTIC place to go to church. read more
