Miami spice $35 menu gets you an amazing assortment of dim sum, like 8 or 10 pieces, and soup. The second you walk in, you know this is serious. Very clean and the staff is so attentive. Welcoming The prices are a little more expensive than the other dumpling joints in town, but it's worth it. Got into a delightful conversation with Jeff - the manage/trainer. He bought a round. He explains that the chefs are Chinese and there are not allot of Chinese trained wok chefs in South Florida. Normal places will train a Latin guy on the wok. (Actually cheaper labor) They have an entire house in Coconut Grove 7 rooms for chefs who commute. That's pretty cool. So Jeff says "Hey, wanna see something?" Ok, I'll bite.... He takes us on a tour of the kitchen, watching the flaming wok and the guys preparing the dim sum. It was sparkling clean and organized. I've owned a restaurant before, and it was never this clean! Impressive. We look in the walk in cooler, the freezer.. Everything labeled, neat, clean, organized. Pro. What confidence Jeff has in his crew to bring strangers unannounced into his working kitchen, let them take photos.... Anyway, I know it's a little pricey, but I see why.... And I'm going back real soon.. Because for a great meal experience, I don't mind pricey.

Expansive indoor dining room with a few tables outdoors. The menu includes a great selection of appetizers and mains, with a few dessert options. The highlight of our meal was the soup dumplings. The udon and stir fried garlic pea greens were also very good. The fried short rib dumplings were oily and forgettable, and the arugula mango salad was just okay, nothing to rave about. Service was the highlight of our evening, very attentive and knowledgeable. Prices, however, were borderline prohibitive, and clearly at the very high end for Chinese food.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I have tried in Florida. I would compare it to Red Pine in Boca and it is way better. The only reason I am giving the restaurant four stars is because the restaurant was out of the dumplings I wanted. However, the 'Pac-Man' Shrimp Dumplings were good. The Express Lunch menu is a fantastic option -- $28 for a ton of food, including Hot and Sour Soup with Grilled Shrimp, salad, choice of entree and vegetable fried rice. I would go back to try more dumplings as they sounded delicious.

Went for a brunch experience during Miami Spice and everything was absolutely incredible. Would 100% recommend Red Farm as an experience. From the dining room to the service and the food presentation, everything was excellent. My photos don't really do it justice. 10 out of 10 for me.

    Duck wontons with Malaysian curry

I came here thinking there would be a happy hour (I think I got it from another location), and the staff mentioned that they don't have one right now, but possibly in the future... fingers crossed! Also, the vibe was super modern and clean... I can't believe this used to be the same spot as Mr. Moe's! :D We tried the oxtail and plantain dumplings, which were a special, as well as the crispy duck wonton with Malaysian curry. Both dishes were delicious, especially the duck wontons with Malaysian curry. The curry was so flavorful and delicious, we could lick the bowl! I would say that this is definitely a place to bring a large group, since every dish comes with 2-4 pieces and it would be better to try a variety of items. The dishes are pricey, but they are definitely made with quality ingredients. I'll be back soon, once the dim sum weekend brunch opens up!

This new and upcoming restaurant in the heart of coconut grove has delicious Chinese cuisine. There is sometimes street parking available, as well as a small lot across the street. You can also valet the car or park in the parking garage that is walking distance. As an appetizer we ordered the Shrimp & Truffle Shumal, which was on a bed of fresh corn kernels. The shrimp was breaded beautifully, each piece was warm and melted into the truffle sauce. As an entree we ordered the sea bass which was glazed in a Thai basil sauce. It was okay, I was honestly expecting more. The three chili chicken was soo much better, the sauce was sweet and caramelized. We truly enjoyed the chicken. The best dish we had imo was the BBQ'd Beef Fried Rice. The beef was cooked excellently, I highly recommend you indulge in this dish. For dessert we had the ice cream sandwich assortment. The options may vary; we got to enjoy the coconut (my favorite), strawberry, chocolate and pistachio (this one didn't really have much flavor). The cookie that held the ice cream together was like a graham cracker crust. That was the best part of the ice cream sandwich. The cocktails were good, I had a twist of a Moscow mule. It was called the Native High-Ball, it was a bit sour but I enjoyed that. My husband tried the Cafe Havana which was like an espresso martini. The service was good, it was kind of empty so we got each of our dishes fairly quick. Our server, Alejo was kind and attentive. Overall, I do recommend you check this spot out.

Red farm is a nice, up-scale Asian fusion restaurant in the Grove. They have a variety of delicious options. Though I wouldn't say it was authentic, it's pretty good for Miami. The yaki soba noodle dishes are delicious with the vegetables. Duck is expensive and while not the best I've had, it was good enough. We really liked the pork dumplings, green beans, and brussel sprouts too. We went for dinner on a weeknight and had reservations at 6:30. It got crowded around 7:30 so keep that in mind. It got hard to hear each other at peak crowdedness around 8pm so if you want more quiet chill atmosphere go around 5:30pm. You can park in a garage or lot nearby but will have to pay. Overall, I'd recommend this for a fancier Asian restaurant!

So happy to finally see something open up in the Grove where Mr Moe's used to be, and even happier that it is a great Chinese fusion option! We went by and I love what they have done with the interior, the bar area looks great and the dining gives you that nice Chinese vibe. The service is great with servers who not only offer wonderful recommendations but take their time explaining the restaurant concept as well as the best way to enjoy it and they do it all with a smile! We tried a couple of their beers and a Red Wine Sangria that was very tasty. The food was all wonderful if you go, you won't regret trying the Mushroom and Vegetable Spring Rolls, shrimp and corn dumplings as well as the Oxtail dumplings and the Seafood fried rice. Some of us ordered the Snapper filet which was a great choice for a light meal. if you're in coconut grove and want to try something new stop by and give them a try.

I'll start by saying RedFarm just opened this location 3 weeks before we went and while they're getting settled into their new home in Coconut Grove it was pretty packed already. Reservations are a must. Ambiance: It's a very bright place, they made good use of the space. The tables do feel a bit on top of each other, so we were very aware of the dating lives of the girls sitting next to us no matter how much we tried not to eavesdrop. Service: Our server Jay was great, super attentive, and went over all of the questions we had in the menu. Food: We started with the duck lettuce wraps, and they were phenomenal (thanks Jay for the recommendation); probably my favorite dish we tried. I had the 3 chili chicken and I was warned one of the peppers should be avoided but wow, this dish was HOT , good but not sure I'd have this again. My bf had the filet mignon and broccoli, and he enjoyed his dish. The stew was tender and juicy. All in all, it was good and we'll probably come by again at some point once they've settled in, but not rushing back any time soon.

RedFarm, a beloved NYC dim sum spot, has made an exciting debut in Coconut Grove, offering a creative twist on classic Chinese cuisine. Located at 3131 Commodore Plaza, the eclectic menu is crafted by dim sum master Chef Joe Ng. The pastrami egg rolls, and their renowned Peking Duck, are all made with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and taste divine! The gorgeous space reflects a fusion of modern rustic and Miami's iconic Art Deco vibes, boasting communal banquet tables with lazy susans, two private dining rooms, and a stylish bar area. Manager, Nick Scarnati and server Real made for an experience that is not to be forgotten!

The food was so delicious! I really enjoyed the meals we chose and our server was very nice and attentive. I loved the different flavors I experienced through each dish. Many unexpected combinations but were very subtle. The fried rice was delicious and had this sweet taste that I couldn't quite figure out because it wasn't in every bite but I loved every bite. We left before it got really busy but regardless great atmosphere.

    Happy hour app

There are very few Chinese restaurants I like and even fewer in Miami, so I was so happy to finally try this place and love it. We sat at the bar to enjoy happy hour as it can be on the pricier end - however they do accept inkind so between happy hour drinks and bites (offered 7 days a week) and inkind we were able to get a delicious meal that didn't completely break the bank. Definitely get the spicy crispy beef. It was so good, I struggled not to eat it all, even though we had several other dishes. The three chili chicken packs some spice and I like that it comes with some not spicy peppers too. I wish it came with rice as a side. We didn't order any as we had ordered a ton of other dishes and I didn't want to spend more, but I enjoyed that dish with leftover rice at home later and it helped with the spice. The wide rice noodles we ordered provided the necessary carb I was looking for and the noodles were some of the best I've had. Great texture and flavor. For dessert we enjoyed the variety of a ice cream sandwiches, which was a fun way to get to try several ice cream varieties.

Restaurant is super cute, trendy, good vibes. Better to valet for $20 than to pay by phone $25 for only 2 hrs. The nitty gritty: food is ok, pricey, amazing presentation but unfortunately the taste, the flavors are lacking, commercial. Definitely hype in my book. I understand New York RESTAURANT is very popular but this is not feng shui, the food tastes commercial, pretty, but average for the price. The one item we ordered that was on point and delicious was the Malaysian vegetable curry however it served with a deep fried pancake, curry is juicy, You need rice or a fluffy pancake to soak up the juice, that does not happen. Therefore, it was a one time visit for me.

I'll start with a positive: I actually really liked the anime-themed decor. It's unique, fun, and definitely adds personality to the space. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The customer service wasn't great. It felt inattentive and unwelcoming, which immediately set the tone for the meal. We ordered two servings of crab rangoon, and I was honestly shocked at both the price and the quality. To put it simply it was the worst crab rangoon I've ever had. They tasted like they were deep-fried in old oil, with that heavy, stale aftertaste. They didn't seem fresh at all more like something pulled from a freezer and quickly dropped into the fryer. When I opened them up, there was barely any filling besides cream cheese. I couldn't find any actual crab inside, which was really disappointing, especially considering how much they charged for them. I was genuinely sad about how much money we spent on those two orders, only to be completely let down. I love supporting unique, themed spots and the anime vibe really had potential but unfortunately, the food quality and service just didn't meet expectations. I hope they improve because the concept itself is cute.

My go to for take out really delivers. This Chinese…read morerestaurant is near my home and I frequently see it, but had never tried it until I noticed that the place I usually go for Chinese food was not on any of my delivery apps. Consequently, when I decided it was a night for takeout and eating in front of the television, I figured why not. Canton Lee has a nice menu with all of the usual Chinese American choices. They have both lunch and combination dinner specials, which are very reasonably priced. But what really struck me was did they list all of my favorite dishes for takeout and they are well priced as well. My mother, a blessed memory, and still the love of Chinese food and me, and she would never start a meal without three distinct things. Wonton soup, spareribs (on the bone, of course), and egg roll. I ordered these items and they're not just tasted great but they were so good thst they even were able to bring back. Great memories (Sidenote: Dad loved pork strips and yatke mein soup which I rarely find these days.). Moving onto the main dishes, I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix, which is a mixture of sautéed shrimp and orange chicken. Their iteration is not spicy like I prefer, but it's really good. I love that. The chicken is still crispy even for takeout and is always nice, moist chicken breast. Maybe next time I will ask if they make it spicy. The second Dish that I ordered is Assorted Wonton which is beef, chicken and shrimp. Sautéed in a garlic sauce with pork wontons. The vegetables mixed in are extremely fresh and the sauce is delicious. I like this dish a lot although the wontons are these flat things that are a little bit strange to me and I would prefer the more robust ones I have had at other restaurants. The young chow fried rice is a huge hit for me as it is not only delicious but a huge quantity is packed into the container. Mixed into the rice, our combination of meat, chicken, and seafood, making this a perfect side dish or even main dish. There are many things in the menu I'd like to try but have not gotten around to yet. Regrettably I forgot to take pictures, but will add them at some point. I cannot comment on the ambience. as I have not been to the restaurant. What I can say, however is the both times that I have ordered the food was delivered quicker than expected. It arrives hot. Perhaps the only complaint that I have and it is not a very big one is that when I do the takeout order I check off the box to include utensils and plates, but neither time were they included. Again, not a big deal, but they should not offer that if they're not going to do it. So overall, I'm rating this specifically as a takeout restaurant as this is the only experience I have with them and as far as that goes, they are at the top of my list.

My wife is a fan of honey chicken, and the reviews that I read online spoke highly of it. This dish did not disappoint at all. Lightly breaded unlike so many Chinese restaurants where you have to dig for the chicken through a very starchy coating. This was delicious moist chicken breast with a light and tasty breading. The honey sauce was in a separate container, which was nice as the food arrived. Still crispy and delicious. We all enjoyed this dish immensely. The second dish we ordered was called Four Seasons, presumably for the four proteins which were chicken, pork, shrimp, and beef. The shrimp was described as Jumbo shrimp but calling them jumbo would be a stretch and the fact that they were difficult to even find in the dish as I think there were only two or three total. The beef and chicken were cooked reasonably, but the pork must've been cooked a while before the dish and was so tough and difficult to chew that I gave up and threw it out. The vegetables were overcut as well and were soggy and essentially tasteless. Exact opposite of the honey chicken this is a dish that I could never recommend. Lastly was the shrimp fried rice. There were a fair amount of shrimp although they didn't seem to be well distributed to the rice and all seem to be near the top of the container. That may have been coincidence. The rice itself was a bit salty otherwise had virtually no flavor. It was very disappointing. Overall, the delivery was quick and the honey chicken was superb. The rest of the meal was not memorable and there are too many places with better overall food for me too risk another disappointment by ordering from there again.
