Sorry, not a fan. I dropped off a piece of glass for cutting which I acquired elsewhere. I was told it would take a day or two to get me the quote because of the holidays, and because it was "complicated" (who knew two straight, right angle cuts were difficult?). They also told me because it was SO "complicated" the cut would have to be outsourced, and that it would take 3-4 weeks for completion. SERIOUSLY??? Today, three days since dropping off the glass, I still had not received a quote, or heard a thing from them. I decided to try calling them for an update. They answered very promptly, but immediately placed me on hold. Fifteen minutes later I was still on hold, so I grabbed another phone and called - while keeping the other call on hold. They answered immediately, and were more than happy to help me. Unfortunately, they appeared to have no clue who I was, and no clue about my piece of glass or its whereabouts. At that point I cut my losses and told them I'd be over shortly to pick it up, and to please make sure it was found and ready when I arrived. I also mentioned that I was still on hold on another line, now for nearly twenty minutes. No apology or explanation was offered. One final thought... Their hours appear to be all over the map. Every... single... day is something different. Also, their hours don't match what's on their website, Google, Yelp, their front door, or their phone message. Each one is completely different from the other - so good luck figuring out when/if they are open. read more

Worst service from a business I've ever experienced. I should have realized the poor service when I had to call them back for a quote after they told me they'd call me back. Long story short we had an appointment for a mirror installation and they canceled twice. Twice they had told me an excuse why they couldn't keep the appointment at the last minute. Steaming heaping pile of garbage. It's been so long since I have dealt with such incompetence at every level. They draw you in by actually showing up to asses your shower door and whether it needs replacing. After they show up the first time and tell you what you need; you won't hear from them for days. Then the owner doesn't know how to return a call. Maybe he needs to look up what returning a phone call means. So inconsiderate. Maybe they have so much business that replacing a shower door isn't worth their time?? Next, the Lady/ secretary whoever she was is a liar. Straight up, lies I was being told for 3 days by the old man who owns the business, and his secretary. Both big liars. Shame on both of you. I was supposed too to get an estimate on the work via email on Tues. Did I get anything? Of course not. Then on Wednesday, they tried to feed me a bunch of lies. First, my email address wasn't working because apparently the emails were bouncing back. So I gave them my other email address, and guess what, that email address didn't work either. Such incompetence. I don't know how this business even lasted a month. They can't return a phone call. Maybe lying is their way of making excuses, but SHAME on this trash heap. They emailed me FINALLY, on THURSDAY!! 6 days later. The secretary tried to feed me some crap about something coming up and that was why they didn't get back to me. Well, I'm showing my gratitude for their substandard and awful customer service. In addition, deodorant needs to be mandatory, because the serviceman/ technician had bad body odor for days. Showers, and soap are your friends service man. If you can't manage your stench, you sure won't be coming back. Do yourself a favor, and don't use this business. They are flakes, they are irresponsible, and they are liars. Use another company for your glass project. This is the worst company, and not the company to use for anything. F- read more

I paid close to $200 to get my brand new window back with gouges and scratches throughout. I saw the craftsmanship and I was pissed. The window was brand new when I took it to them and the condition I received it back was not professionally repaired. Sure the window did not have a crack in it, but I was not happy about paying this kind of money if I knew what condition I was going to get the window back at. Seriously looks like the window was repaired by somebody that had no idea what they were doing... I was about to call and complain until I read the fine print on the receipt; "Not responsible for the condition caused by repair...". Don't think I want to use Redlands Glass again. read more

This is probably the worst glass company I've ever dealt with. Let me explain I remodel houses for investors all over the state of California.. The elderly gentleman working the place obviously too broke to retire. Has made an attempt to fix a piece of glass in a window frame that was perfectly square and the rubber was good no joke the rubber was still rubber. After 8 hours of waiting for this glass a gentleman walked out and put it in my car and walked away said they were closed left me no receipt overcharged my company. Upon getting the glass back to the house . I discovered that the screws to hold the frame together we're missing I also discovered that the window was not fitting in the frame it appeared that the window was not cut square. Being late at night and due to the fact that the window company had closed I made an attempt to install the window. Window did not fit, the bow in the center of the not squarely cut glass is inhibiting the glass frame to meet its screw points. Now in an exta effort install this glass I rubber mallet it the bottom corner only to end up breaking The glass. Was about to leave a message on a business that was supposedly closed . 30 minutes after closing the elderly and incompetent gentleman answered the phone and stated to me that the screws were in the frame when I took it. Implying the I removed the screws to the frame and that his window was square if I was allowed to take a picture and posted to this I would. This is an incompetent place of business the owner is too old to care to conduct business correctly when you walk in there is a picture of a phone being slammed hung shut meaning that this gentleman has no regard for customer service. I do not recommend and I also read the reviews of what other people left and I see that they are just family members lying to make the his business look good. too old to Conduct business ,,too old to do the business right,,too old to deal with customers that are upset. this business needs to close. read more

I've gone to this shop for my glass needs for a while now and just went there last week for a broken window and two screens that needed some... help. The two women there are very nice and helpful and have always done good work for me. Most of the time I'm able to wait a few minutes while they cut my glass which is great since I don't have to make two trips... One time I measured too big on a couple of pieces of glass that they cut for me, when I came in to see what they could do, they quickly took the glass to the back, cut them down to what I needed and didn't charge me! It's what got me to come back to this place. And they have a wall full of weird and interesting things to read while you wait. They even put up their negatives reviews on their wall for people to view (I've only seen 2, including the one above me which doesn't sound like this place at all) which I think is pretty funny and it's what reminded me to review this place. My window was done the same day and I just picked up my screens! The price was very reasonable and the job was done well! Oh and they have the best dog I've ever seen!... Several years ago I purchased a large mid-century cabinet in New York. The entire thing, including the glass door fronts, arrived in California perfectly intact. But when I moved from LA to Redlands, the doors fell out of the truck into the driveway. I used Yelp to find a glass company and chose Redlands Glass. They took the broken pieces of the doors and recreated...no returned doors more beautiful than the originals. They were honest about pricing, offered an alternative to the ground out pulls, and the girls were so nice, knowledgeable and the price did not go up once I came to pick them up and they were finished in the time promised. I love my cabinet even more and am so grateful for the work - and kindness. read more

We recently bought new office furniture for our law offices and had Redlands Glass make glass tops to protect the surface. They did a great job, and a bit cheaper than our previous source. At a later time I needed holes drilled for computer cords in two of the glass tops. Redlands Glass did it in a couple days at a very nominal cost. read more

I got referred to Redlands Glass, and I'm so glad I used them. I had a Victorian shaped frame that needed a curved mirror, but it had a backing with straight angled lines, so I was going to do that to keep the cost down. To my surprise, the very next day, my mirror was done and they had hand cut it to fit the curve shape. Truly amazing. So grateful!!! read more

I have had various things ordered through them- from cabinet windows to tabletops and I have been extremely pleased with everything. They are very prompt with the orders and above all, nowadays, when it is so easy to be just a order number, they bring something personal to the business. They are a family owned business and I have had the pleasure of meeting the mom and one of the daughters (they work there). They are extremely easy to work with. There was one instance when a measurement was 1/8 of an inch off and would not fit where it was supposed to go. They corrected the problem right away without any hassle. I've ordered from Redlands Glass before for projects of mine and I recently ordered a few table tops that I just received and I love them! They really helped me figure out what type of glass I needed for my tables, they were at a way cheaper price than a glass company in Yucaipa quoted me and they were ready in two days! They've always been helpful when I've ordered cabinet glass from them and the "decorative" glass they put in them are just beautiful! Very friendly women! I'm surprised to see the review below me because they've always been very nice towards me and the other customers I see them with... and they're always open when Ive gone there.. Maybe that person just isn't a friendly person and went before or after hours. :/ (I've been going to this glass shop for 4 years and the women will not tolerate rude customers :P) I DO recommend them! I've often used Redlands glass for the properties that my company manages and I maintain. I always refer people in the area to use them for any of their glass (especially window) repairs and fabrication necessities with a firm conviction to their efficiency, economy and service. Recently, my brother who lives in Grand Terrace called around a number of companies to get a sheet of glass, and told me (what I felt) were outrageous estimates, with very little service provided other than just cutting the glass, or charging an exorbitant amount to disassemble and reassemble the frame around the glass. I had only two words for him, "Redlands Glass." A week later, today, he called me to let me know how happy he was with the more than satisfactory level of service he was provided by Redlands Glass to repair the glass. He was simply amazed that there was no additional service or labor charge added onto his invoice to replace the glass of his window. He brought the window frame, broken glass and all, and they replaced it for him, for a very reasonable price. He was ecstatic. Redlands Glass is the testament of small business doing it right. Thank you for doing what you do. Thank you for making my brother happy, and thank you for making me look like I know what I'm talking about.
