Now I purchased it from a big box store and most businesses want you to buy from them or they won't install. Clem only needed the design type and mfgr of the unit. When Mystic came to look at what needed to be done and reviewed to make sure it will work. We were off on tolerance on onside of the shower. instead of walking away and telling me that I would need to get another shower. Clem created and additional part that would enable us to use the existing unit. He was creative and explained everything to me so I understood. I really appreciated his professionalism. One evening my wife and I decided to have our shower surround replaced. I like to do business with local companies so I was going to contact Mystic Mirror since they are in Yucaipa. It was after business hours, so I hopped on the computer, found their website, and filled out a request for a quotation. Several days passed without hearing from them so I called the business and explained my need and pointed out that I tried to reach them via the web.. The lady ignored my comment and took my contact information and told me someone would call me back. It's been a couple of months and I'm still waiting. I prefer to patronize our local businesses but only if they warrant it. Mystic Mirror does not. I ended up using the glass Guru of Redlands and was very satisfied. read more

If not receiving a reply to a request for service is any indication of a business's work ethic, I'm probably generous in giving Mystic Mirror and Glass two stars. I called on Monday just after 12 noon and reached a voice message indicating their business hours. The message also stated they are out to lunch between noon and one. I understand a small businesses needs, and limitations so I left a message. I have yet to receive a call back. I think etiquette is just as important in business as it is to our personal lives. If I'm not worthy of a call to inform me that you are unable or unwilling to accept my business, you probably are not worthy of it anyway. There are countless numbers of businesses providing the same services. I prefer to conduct business with those who value potential customers. read more

Am doing a science demo for kids and needed some 2 way mirror. Even though they are closed due to Covid, Clem responded to an email I sent the shop and Clem put all the materials together for me, gave me a door code to go pick it up and trusted me to leave payment in an envelope slipped through the door. Super service!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I got back to the house and unpacked it, I found Clem had thrown in a bunch of extra pieces just in case, and different ones I could use to test as well. I want to give them more stars, as I prefer to do business with companies that are local to the job, but I am disappointed in the lack of communication from the company. It is the holiday season, so I understand there can be 'emergency/rush' jobs to fix the giant plate glass window before Christmas dinner company comes over, but please be up front about it. I originally called and emailed them 3 weeks ago about fixing some broken glass. Never heard back. Emailed them again a week or so ago, also have not received anything back. When I call, an answering machine picks up 4 out of 5 times during business hours. No call back. No call back. Frustrating! Then when I finally reached them, they said something about them being 'busy with other jobs' after telling me they would be out to take measurements twice. I cannot comment on the quality of their work, as I have not seen any yet. Maybe they do great work. Hopefully I'll find out before I can have another glass company do the job... Still waiting. I am told they did go out to measure few days ago (not by Mystic, they haven't called or emailed me back...) Hopefully they will let us know if and when they will be back for the repair, and maybe 'how much' would be helpful as well. I did receive a verbal estimate before measurement, but verbal estimates based on no measurements are not always reliable, even with the best intentions. read more

After a brief hold I was quoted a price that was lower than I'd expected. I was told just to bring it in when I'm ready and would take about 2 days. I'll do another review here once the job is done. I decided this morning that i needed a mirror cut to a smaller size, so stopped by on a whim. When I walked in asking their prices, they quoted me a fair price before they saw mirror. They then walked out with me to get the mirror and took it out of the car for me (very nice since it was huge!) They said it may take an hour and they'd call me when it was done. So, an hour to waste and groceries I had to pick up anyways, I walk back to the office to give my cell... There, the lady said it wouldn't cost as much as first quoted (was a fair price to begin with) woohoo!! And, it was already DONE!!! Just got home, mirror is cut perfectly and already in place within a half hour of deciding to cut the mirror and that includes travel time! Seemed like a family run business that looks to keep customers very happy:D which I def am!! I didn't notice the people's name, but spoke to the friendly receptionist lady and a guy that cut it for me! Very nice people and glad the lady helped me figure out the perfect size to cut it to fit in a cubby. Highly recommend this place! read more

They fit perfect and came with low E insulation and also with a protective laminate so if someone tries to break in they won't be able to get in thru the windows.
