Unfortunately they had to close because of Covid. When I was there in November they had taken steps to protect everyone. Kimberly always wears a mask, so it was a given she'd be wearing a mask. There is a tall, wide plexiglass shield between you and the technician. They moved the stations for the protection of all. Kimberly is wonderful. She takes an interest in you. I have a difficult time accepting the poor reviews. At one point a few years ago I smudged my pedicure regular nail polish while getting in my car. If I could give zero stars I would! I'm here visiting my parents and went with my mom to get our nails done before I leave again. WORST SERVICE I EVER RECEIVED! I had the younger girl (I think Jennifer was her name not sure). She was beyond rude. Bad attitude and very unfriendly. After they told my mom and I we were done and we paid. I go home and see my nails on my toes were DESTROYED. I was so upset. I don't know if it was my sandals or me driving or what. No one helped me put my sandals on or anything just told us we're done and pay. I came back and the older lady (Kim I think), wasn't helpful at all when I told her about my toes. She just said ok so what do you want? Unbelievable. My mom had to explain we needed this fixed. She tells the younger girl to fix it. No apologies from anyone. Not a word from the younger girl. She was soo rude it was uncomfortable. Almost throwing things back in her drawer bc she was upset to fix my nails. My mom asked if I could put my toes under the UV light bc the lady just left me there without saying anything. She comes back helps me to the light. I stayed there for 15 minutes bc I was worried. I recently moved to Redlands and was looking for a new nail salon after going to the same place in Riverside for over 7 years. I tried Sun Nails and did not like anything about the experience. The place looked dirty and messy, not relaxing at all. I had a mani & pedi and was the only person in the shop. The woman who did my nails didn't talk at all and rushed through my mani/pedi. I should have walked out when I witnessed the lady reuse her gloves and I'm pretty sure I watched her wash tools from precious customer with water and place them on a dirty white towel for the next customer. Worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I didn't expect to be treated like royalty or anything like that. But I do expect to be tended to and treated somewhat nicely. I came in the other day with my mom. Both to get a pedi and I also wanted a mani. When we got there there was only about 2 other customers. It took about 10 minutes for us to be seated on the chairs with the feet soakers. My mom was being attended to first and everything seemed fine. The lady working on her asked me if I was just pedi and I replied I wanted a mani also. The guy doing nails was finishing up his customer and attended me after. He started doing my nails on the pedi chairs which was a bit uncomfortable but I did not mind because it seemed convient. He cut and filed my nails and asked what color I wanted and I told him French tip and he left me and started working on someone else. I wasn't mad at that point yet because I figured it might be easier to do my toe nails first and then my nails. Well another lady doing toes was finished with her customer and was just about to sit to start on me and the lady working on my mom told her something and she left. She started working on a lady that arrived a good while after me. I started to get a little annoyed because I had been sitting there soaking my feet which were now all prunny and the water cold. I waited about 30 minutes until the lady working on my mom finished and started working on me. I had gel on my toes from a previous pedi and she started off by removing it. Worst pain I have ever felt at a nail salon. As she filed the gel off she did not pay much attention to what she was doing because she kept hurting my nail bed. One of my toes started to hurt really bad and I could see it was turning red. She cut my nails and filed the gel off and then promptly asked me to get up and move to the regular chairs. More people were coming in and she was making room to sit them. It made me feel bad because she basically did my pedi squating down on the floor underneath a table while people who got there after me were getting the whole treatment. She also did my mani. I have bubbles on the tips and I had found a black hair in the gel. I told her about the hair and she argued for a while that she could not see it but it was there. After I said that it was okay I guess she took my hand a bit rudely and started filing the nail down and redid it. She ended up making the nail all scratchy and worse but I was over it and just wanted to leave that place before I said something I would regret. My mom also had issues with her pedi. The lady moved her as well and my mom hinted to me that one foot was not shiny like the other and if the lady was done. And I told her she probably isn't and is just making room. Well she was making room but I guess she thought she was done. My mom told her and the lady looked at her toes and had to apply whatever makes them shiny. One of my mom's nails was also not showing much paint like the others and she told the lady but the lady kept arguing with her and seeming rude. The whole experience was awful. I hate having to complain when I know you get what you pay for but it was just to the point to where you have to. They were doing a lousy job because they were trying to get everyone done as quickly as possible. Never coming back for sure. I'm also pretty freaked about my toe nail that was hurt because of all those news reports you hear about infections when they aren't sanitary. read more

Sat for 25 minutes before being put in a chair- continued to sit for another 30 IN the chair. Where are we at? 55 minutes already. All the while I'm sitting and waiting patiently... No one asks if I'm ok to wait a little longer, or that another technician will be there any minute. My water in the chair went cold. Literally went cold. This was my second time here. The first time when I came for a pedicure, the water was cold and there was a bug floating in it but I looked past that because they did a decent job on my pedicure and acrylics. I decided to give them another chance so I came in for a pedicure and gel manicure and everything was going fine until a bunch of people started coming in and they started rushing and not even caring about what they were doing. They were just trying to finish as soon as possible. I had to tell her twice that 2 nails were crooked and had jagged edges before she fixed them! Why do I need to tell you how to do your job?? This was just one of the many issues. Part of my toenail was missing polish and I told the girl who just said "ok" and didn't fix it! She didn't use the tissue between the toes so some got messed up. When I go somewhere do get my nails done I expect them to be perfect or I would just do it myself at home! You would think that they would want to keep customers happy so they would return, but I guess that is not something they think about. Coupons or not, I'm not going back there! I'd rather go somewhere else where I can walk out happy and know that my money spent was worth it! read more

I reached my ten and when I wanted to redeem my card I was told they stop doing this a month ago. WHAT??? Being leap year, the wifey poo and I decided to go splurge and get our swerve on. Not really sure what that means, but I'm being cool don't you know. So, never being to this place but having a coupon, we decided, mmmmkkkk here we go. So, for you I present two ratings, one for the massage and one for the nails. First the nails... Probably a solid 3. Of course I didn't get my nails done, just the spouse. She was very happy with the service. Now for the massage. Wait, it's better described as an oil application, with a side of hot rocks dropped on your brain. I went in to the remarkably small room and laid on the table? Yeah, we'll call it a table. It was covered with a paper roll deal like you see in a doctors office exam table. Weird, and noisy every time I moved. Luckily Zumba was going on directly next door, so I could hardly hear the paper crinkle. Ah, the relaxation of it all. I'm 6'3" so there was no way I was fitting on this table. I hung off (not in a good way) both ends, and the lady could hardly move around me to get to the other side. As Arthur (Dudley Moore) would say, "this is not a big place, I'm talking small." So I suppose I'm as situated as I can be when the oil application began. Rub rub rub, more oil - rub rub rub - hold on, I mean apply apply apply. If there were visquene, a video camera, & two cute girls I'da had a ball. Lacking any ot the needed fun stuff, I lay there holding in the laughter for the amount of oil. I seriously think they were F'in with me. I'm sure they're still laughing "tall man all swippery-hehe". Fast forward a few minutes and now it's the hot rock thing. Never had it and it was a little interesting, but when she reached to grab another rock from the heating pile, she dropped one right on my cranium. Like I said - the oil thing. Final Review: Don't do it - I would have gotten up and left had I been alone. I didn't want to ruin my wife's toe session, so I stayed. Do yourself a favor, go across the street to the Von's plaza and get yourself a foot rub there. Mucho better... That reminds me, I need to change the oil in my car. Cheers read more

I will start this by saying that I made a yelp account solely to write this review... I have never had a worse experience at a nail salon. First off- the salon is smelly and outdated. They have their TV blasting asian soap operas-not relaxing AT ALL. The "nail artist" that did my gel manicure barely spoke english and was not friendly. She rushed through the manicure portion and couldn't even file my nail straight. Then, while painting my nails, I pointed out MULTIPLE spots that she missed and neglected to cover. She put on the lightest layers of gel nail polish that I can see through the "dark red" to my natural nail. AND I found a little black hair dried into the polish. Needless to say, I will never be going back there. This place is not worth the few bucks saved. My boyfriend could have given me a better manicure with his eyes closed. read more

I used to go here every now and again... Modest place. The daughter (still don't know her name. Oops) was great! Friendly and knew her stuff. Would pick out nice colors for me too. Totally trusted her. The owner (I think the mom) was good too but I still preferred the daughter. I would hate when they would let the man take over (maybe the dad/husband/owner?) He just doesn't have that touch. They will take you even if they are closing... which is really nice since I suffer from time poverty. But the last few times just weren't great, weren't good...just not worth it. I don't like being hurt when I'm getting my mani done... I want to relax and this last time I was really tense, the lady kept pinching me, filing my skin and nicking me. When I said ouch, she didn't seem to care, didn't look up, just kept on, but maybe it was a language barrier. But isn't ouch mean the same thing in all languages? Oh well. If I could give this place a negative rating I would. I was getting White French tip acrylics for my prom. And I had to wait about twenty minutes, which wasn't a huge deal. The guy showed up and started to do my nails. He didn't ask how long I want them or if I wanted pink or white powder. After they looked nice so I paid and went on my way. Two days later I wake up and my nails are yellow. Not white like they were supposed to be, YELLOW! It disgusted me so much! It was on Sunday and they were closed so I went back on Monday for a refund because I didn't want them touching my nails anymore. The lady was so rude! She told me that I must have made them yellow, and the guy denied doing my nails at first. I told her that they were disgusting and I wanted a refund so I could go get them fixed somewhere else. She proceeded to grab my hands and cut off the tips of my nails all jaggedly, and throw the money in my face. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! It was horrible!!! read more
