No exaggeration, they had a couple of very qualified gentlemen at my house within 30 minutes of my initial call. They were both polite and professional. Bought my quartz slab here. Pretty easy process-- especially if you find what you want in their yard! I had them order and someone else install which is nice because a lot of places will only let you order if they install. So I can't say whether or not their installation is great, but I can say ordering from them or buying something in their yard is simple and easy with good prices. Jessica was wonderful to work with, as she was able to secure the granite from Marietta, have it transferred to Stoneworks. The contract was self explanatory as it spelled out the edge detail, and anything else you would like. The measuring for the granite and the cut outs for the sink was explained throughly. Carmen and Rayo saved the day! I'm so glad I found this place. I was sent here via referral from a tile guy I know. To make a long story short my regular stone / tile guy in Los Angeles brought a slab up to Lake Arrowhead for me. Well the dimensions were wrong so they took the slab back. Two weeks later they dropped it off early in the morning and I was half asleep. Well I came all the way back up with my contractor and all of our supplies to install the slab and guess what!!! It was wrong again! I was freaking out. I finally called Redlands Stoneworks and spoke to Carmen. I told her that I needed some cuts and polishing done ASAP. She was so nice and professional with me on the phone. She told me to bring the slab down the hill to there shop in Redlands. She told me that she couldn't promise me that it would be done the same day but definitely by the next morning. So my contractor and I barely got the slab into my SUV. We slowly drove the the slab down to Redlands Stoneworks. We meet Carmen and Rayo who looked at my slab as I explained to them in detail what I needed. My contractor and I went for lunch and BAM...The slab was finished in about an hour! I couldn't believe it. It was perfect! Rayo cut off the bullnose and polished the slab. Rayo also took a little off the back because my original guy left it uneven. I thanked them both and carefully drove the slab back up the hill and it was installed perfectly. Thank you Carmen. My husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen and were pleased with a previous experience at Redlands Stoneworks so we decided to give them our business again. BIG MISTAKE! We visited the yard, picked out our granite, put down a deposit and began the process. The girl we were initially working with (Carmen) went on maternity leave shortly after our kitchen was measured and RSW went completely silent. Eventually I called and we were assigned to someone else. After several back and forth discussions regarding the scope, I was provided a bid and drawings and approved them. Upon closer review, I noticed that my deposit was not accounted for so I had to request it be reflected in my amount due. When I attempted to pay for the material, we were informed that they do not take cards of any sort and that I needed to drop off a check or cash. Plus, they wanted me to verify that the slab I selected was still there and had not been sold. I found this odd as I had put a deposit down on the slab, how was it even possible that it had been sold? I agreed and notified my sales girl that I would come out on Saturday. Saturday rolls around and there is no one at the yard. Gates locked, completely closed. My contact said that the whole office got the flu and was home sick. I get that things happen, no big deal. We had an appointment, a heads up would have been nice. Three days before my installation I called RSW and specifically asked what needed to be done to prepare for the install. I asked specific questions and was given specific answers. Installation day is upon us, and the guys were over an hour late. Again, not a big deal, but again - NO NOTIFICATION. When they did arrive, I was informed that the instructions I was given were wrong. By this point, I am beyond fed up. The installer was GREAT, fixed what needed to be done and was super nice. My bid was "discounted" due to all of the inconvenience and misunderstanding. As I am writing the check to the installer, I notice that my amount due is approx $500 over what I had approved, and this is with the "discount". Again, I call and ask what the deal is. Office tells me that when my husband paid for the material, they verbally told him we needed two slabs instead of 1.5 slabs. Not only is this the first I am hearing of needing an extra 1/2 slab but there is no record of this addition in writing. So I ask, if I am paying for 2 slabs, and my kitchen only needed 1.5, where is my additional material? RSW did not have a response. Now I am waiting on a call back from the "manager" who verbally spoke with my husband to resolve this nightmare. Typically I do not leave reviews, especially negative ones, but my experience with this company was completely awful. If not for their installers, I would give them a 1. The workmanship and installation is without a doubt, a 5. Front office business practices are a 1 and completely unacceptable. If you decide to use this company, check your bids closely! read more

If I could give negative stars I would . It was like pulling teeth to deal with this company . I wanted a remnant but was encouraged to by a manufactured product. It was for a bar area so it shouldn't have been so difficult. Said it would be easier and take less time . They took like a week longer then said when I went the yard guys dented my truck and said " it's ok " I was furious maybe they think I should brush it off but I work hard to have nice things and don't appreciate the lack of professionalism. I assumed it's because I'm a 105 lbs woman I'm stupid or something so I can be treated like I'm stupid and don't have a say . News flash I was raised on job sites being that my father was a contractor and still is and he's always treated me as an equal . Then also tried to tell me to lay the slab flat and it's going to be ok because it's heavy . Ummm no first off the lady in the office made it clear she highly recommended we use an A frame for it which I had in my bed of the truck . Second there's a thing called inertia I'm not laying a slab flat with my tailgate open ridiculous. Lastly they didn't even do the slab correctly it was supposed to be bull nosed on 3 sides because it's a bar and the failed . They called 5 plus times for the sink cut to be correct yet they failed to make the edges right . Guess I should have tripled checked it was right but was so furious the second they damaged my truck and smart mouthed me I left assuming they actually knew what they were doing my mistake . Sad because I just bought another house I'm fixing this one up too omg yes a stupid woman (a joke )and would have continued to use them however I'd rather pay more then deal with their incompetence and rudeness . Also I'll make sure to let all my contractor friends and anyone who's looking for stone slabs to avoid them because they aren't professionals you can trust . Or if you're a female in the industry they think you're stupid .spoke with the place and was told what am I getting at ? What I'm getting at is all I wanted was the granite to be done to spec . I paid for a job and they failed their attitude and customer service is disgusting. I do not recommend this place. They installed the incorrect countertop. The manager(Tony) ordered a replacement which was not the correct countertop again and blamed the company he ordered it from. The manager had no sense of urgency to get the job done with the countertop I chose. I was not able to get the countertop I chose and I was given no other choice but to choose a different countertop. After 2 MONTHS it was installed and the crew damaged my drywall and did not inform me or care to fix it. Tony was defensive and did not follow up to fix the damage done to my interior. Poor management and poor care from the crews. In the managers defense I was not required to pay the other half of the remaining balance but for one I did not get the countertop originally chosen, it took 2 months and there was damage to my house so that is minimally what he should have done.
