I started taking everything apart and there was NO evidence of new pads on the rear of the car. The passenger side pad was gone and grinding into the rotor and the outer pad was not new either. Had to replace rotors and pads. We spoke to the owner and he took no responsibility. The reviews are not wrong on this place. I had to get a vehicle inspection done by them last year and they were nice enough then, but I will never go here again and I would suggest you go elsewhere.

I had to be towed an hour to get there. They diagnosed the problem quickly, had the parts brought even quicker and I was out there door with peace of mind for my holiday travels. They advised future issues that might come up, honored their parts and service with a warranty and have a very nice waiting room where I could work. However, the other guys did not install my manual shifter correctly after 2 attempts & having my car for over 1.5 months. The shifter when installed correctly, is supposed to prevent anyone from going to into reverse instead of 1st gear. I was told to drive it a bit & bring it back, that happened twice. The problem was never fixed. You would think they would work on it right away since they had already received my payment but my car was thrown to the back of the line. After literally being bribed by one of the service managers, which I provided proof to the manager, the shifter installed incorrectly & being without my car for a long time due to all of the errors, I regret the day I let them work on my car.

Since I have a lifetime warranty (on the car), I took it to the local Chrysler dealership here and was told about how backed up they are and how I would have to leave my car and it wouldn't have a diagnostic run on it until January 8th! We are driving back to Arizona on January 2nd. The warranty rep told me that I could bring my car to a certified mechanic, so I called one shop and the person on the phone said that I would have to drop off my car the next morning and that their shop would have to do a diagnostic test of their own (I had taken my car to Auto Zone first and they diagnosed it and it had a bad thermostat) to see if anything else was wrong, and it would cost me $89 dollars. Besides this young man's rudeness, he was very shady. So I called 5150 Garage and I explained to the person who answered the phone my dilemma, and he was very kind and patient and said that he possibly had a thermostat that would fit my Chrysler Town and Country and offered to look at my car the same day. I asked what his name was and he said Lewis and that he was also the owner. So needless to say we took our car to 5150 Garage and Lewis greeted us and checked the thermostat he had and said it was the right one and went ahead and had it installed. My husband and I were so relieved and very impressed with Lewis' professionalism, kindness, honesty and willingness to help out 2 out of towners in need. We highly recommend 5150 Garage in Royse City. As soon as we got to my sister's house I gave my family Lewis' information so they can take their vehicles to 5150 Garage for any future maintenance and any repairs their vehicles may need.

At my SIL's recommendation, I submitted a request to see when Highway 78 Auto could look at it. Took it in this morning and the tech looked at it immediately and pretty much had a good idea what it was. Danielle was super sweet and offered to take me to my daughter's home. A few hours later and Danielle called and said it was ready! Wow! It's hard to find great service like this anymore. Now I know why SIL only trusts this shop to work on his vehicles. Thanks so much for restoring my faith that good, old-fashioned service at a fair price still exists!
