$151 dollars for an oil change. You have to Siri in your car while it's 100 plus degrees in the garage. They never told us the price of the oil change until AFTER it was complete. Would never have authorized the job to be done. The dealership was only $90. Will never use them again. 100% a ripoff. read more

Not recommended. I took in a vehicle to have the coolant checked before a long trip. They stated there was barely any needed at all. 10 miles down the road the vehicle overheated because they forgot to put the coolant cap back on. The overheating caused the thermostat to go out. They are refusing to reimburse me for the cost of the thermostat repair. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! Got my truck inspected and had a pass. Went to get the registration on it 10 days later and brought the passed inspection paper and the place said the Valvoline didn't submit it all the way in their system. We called them multiple times different days and all we got were excuses and them saying it was submitted. So today I bring my paperwork in and they are convinced it is in the system and that the state computers have something going wrong with, not valvoline. Then they said it's been a month since I got the inspection so I have to get re inspected and pay another $7. They don't care about you. I told them I'm taking my business elsewhere. I go down the street to Strickland Brothers and the owner greets me and the employees were incredibly nice. I told them what just happened and they said they had 5 other people complain about valvoline today too. They said one lady had a Volkswagen and they turned her away saying they didn't have the right oil type (it's actually very common oil). Strickland brothers took a look at her car and the valvoline place in the process of checking her oil and everything LEFT THE CAP OFF HER OIL FILL. oil was everywhere and the car was making a weird sound because it was ALMOST OUT OF OIL. The employees at valvoline make like 9 bucks an hour and don't car about you or your car. Do not take your car here!!! read more

I drove out of my way to be here at open. Do Not Do This! They did not open on time. 15 minutes later.... Still nobody. Ontop of that, I watched all the traffic pile up on 380 and after 20 minutes more of nobody coming to help me or the other cars, we all started driving away. Still nobody came out / nobody cared. Do not recommend you use this location. I went closer to McKinney and got taken care of right away. read more

They are fast, attentive and Anthony is great. We had the oil and air filter changed and a rattle started while we were traveling during the holidays. We called and Anthony got us in right away to diagnose and fix the issue. It was not an issue caused by changing the filter but he was professional and helpful and explained the process every step of the way. Every time we have gone there they have been great. read more

I brought my 2018 Dodge Promaster 2500 into the store to have my oil changed as I have always done. everything seemed to be done and I went on my way. about 3 weeks later I noticed oil leaking from my vehicle. I went back to the store to have everything checked to make sure nothing was left loose. everything checked out ok. being a Mechanic myself I started to think about what the problem could be. i checked the oil level and it was about 4 quarts overfilled. I called Valvoline Customer Service and filed a claim. They sent me back to the store to have them check it out. when I arrived I was met by a young man that said he was the maneger. He had me pull my truck into the bay so they could check the level. they has a crew member drain my oil into a plastic jug with Valvoline on it. as the crew member was attempting to have the oil stream pour into the jug, she lost at least a quart in her attempt. when complete, she saif to the manager that ther was 6.5 quarts. this is not including the quart that was lost, the oil still remaining in the oil filter housing since this was never opened and the oil that was leaking for a few weeks. the manager stood with me proclaiming that over filling my engine with oil would not cause any damage. I attribute that comment to his young age and lack of knowlege! They then proceeded to pour the oil from the plastic jug that had a great deal of Metal shavings back into my truck! that alone shows lack of training!!! After that and MANY calls to Valvoline Corporate, I was able to speak to Ben the regional manager. He seemed genuinely concerned with the whole story. After a few weeks of back and forth, he sent me to Fifth Gear repair center to diagnose the leak. after a couple days, the repair center said there was a leak under the OIL FILTER HOUSING which could definitely be the cause of my oil leak. They also found an unrelated Antifreeze leak. When I was finnally able to reach Ben, He told me that he and his Market manager have decided they will not pay for the 1700.00 repair because my truck had a antifreez leak as well. this is unbelievable. I am making a BBB report as well and will be writing a letter to the CEO LORI FLEES asking them to pay for the repair. I, would advise finding a different place to have your oil changed. they are obviously not well trained. I sent an audio recording of the managers proclamation and a picture of the oil all over the jug to corporate as well. The mistake was a mistake. not accepting the responsibility for the Damage is intentional!!!!!! read more

I think the oil changes are a bit expensive, but they are quick. Just a couple of small issues. One of the screws is now missing, usually I check it before and after any service, but I did not this time. So..... They over fill the oil. My biggest complaint. The Auto Repair. Put new headlights in, could not get them aligned. Stopped by to see the the Auto Repair side could check them out. Was promptly greeted and was told they could align headlights. I pull into the bay and he checks my blinkers and headlights to make sure they are working, was told all was good. Thank you, but I want the lights aligned. He looks at the lights on the grey wall, no machine or measurements, nothing. He takes out the bulb for my blinker and tells me that it doesn't seem to be working. What?!, you just told me everything was fine. He looks at it then shakes it and flicks it. This is a bulb with a filament, this can cause the filament to break. Seriously?!, now he can't put it back in. I told him never mind, I will get my husband to take care of it. I got in my car and left. Don't tell me you can do something, when you don't have the equipment to do it with. Don't tell me something is broke after you told me everything was fine. read more

We just moved to Princeton. My wife's car needed an oil change and we have seen this place driving by so we gave it a try. Although very convenient, a SEMI synthetic oil change and a tire rotation was almost $100. Ouch !!! Thank goodness I had the $7 coupon to take a little of that sting out. Total Garbage - Management is worthless. Please... Please do not go to this business. Had them change my oil, install a new oil filter, and check the fluids. The next day discovered that there was oil leaking from the drain pan. Brought it back to them that afternoon they found the drain plug was loose and they changed the oil filter again. I don't think they even know what was leaking. I asked if the drain plug was loose did you change the drain plug gasket since you were supposed to? The tech found out that they did not change it and the original old plug gasket was never changed. Then they had me start the car to check if the drain plug was still leaking. With no oil put back in the car... Then the tech said okay "all Done" I said you never put any oil back in the car! After him talking with his co-worker about it- The tech stated "He forgot" I had the tech call his manager on the phone. Since they were no supervisors on site...The manager was a woman with no business sense or obligation to the business or the customers. After seeing that I could not converse with this woman in civilized manner. I said thank you and hung up. No responsibility to their customers, looking for that quick buck mentality. read more

I'm only giving this place a 2 star because thw guys working there were alright. The problem is the manager who was working the day I got my oil changed. Feb 8 I came in for oil change only. The guys have to do their job to offer you other items. I get it and am OK with that. The problem came when I began turning them down for other services which are way too high priced to begin with. The manager began getting upset with me as I turned things down like air filter change. Which I do myself. Then it was upgrade for better oil. I use the standard oil and add in an additive (Lucas) myself. This guy was ignorant and rude. Very unprofessional. Too bad for this place. There's better for cheaper for sure. If the owner ever decided to correct his problem here and get quality professional management, put up a sign that you got a new manager. May help you gain back a lot of business you lost. read more

I got here right when they opened and they got started right away on my inspection. It was done pretty quickly so I went ahead and asked for an oil change. Services were done pretty quickly but unfortunately right when I was about to pay the computer systems crashed. That's not their fault. But Ive been here for over an hour now. Still waiting to pay and use the $7 off coupon that you get when you check in here. There's a time limit for the coupon so don't tap "use" until you're actually ready to pay! This team is extremely knowledgeable! Very positive and they work very efficiently. They even give advice and recommendations on how to care after. HOLY HELL. I have never dealt with a more rude and disrespectful person than the general manager of this store. After they attempted to charge me twice, he proceeded to yell at me, talk over me and demand another form of payment after I already paid or he'd call the police. I told him he could call the police because I confirmed with my bank that it successfully went through and he wasn't getting any more money from me and I'd never come back there and I would make sure to tell everyone I know to never come here again to which he replied "that's fine, you're not our only customer." When I go in person they had recently been over charging me for my oil filter, I catch it & they correct it. I send someone else to get my oil changed & the extra charge appears. I call & deal with a rude employee, get transferred to the manager & hung up on. I'll opt to go a couple minutes down the road to walmart before I ever step foot in that place again. Not to mention last time some dipstick broke my oil dipstick & I had to order one from the dealer. I could go on with other issues but enough said. read more

Grossly overpriced (higher than the dealer), didn't have my air filter in stock and it took three people about 20 minutes to figure out how to put the air filter enclosure back together. Not sure why they even opened it since they already knew the filter wasn't in stock. They were looking at a phone trying to see pictures of how to do it LOL. Terrible experience. On arrival no one came up ask me what I was there for. Not a hello, not be with you in a second, absolutely no communication. After waiting I approached someone and they told me where to bring my car. After that, I left my car there, came back to pick it up. They charged me for a few things I'm not even sure what they charged were. Ended up costing $80 with a coupon, more than they advertised. Funny thing is how they're advertising says save money! It also took them forever to check me out. It was a stressful situation. I won't be back, which sucks because I've used them a few times and it's close by, but I can't do it again. He didn't check headlights as Valvoline normally does, did not ask or explained about extras that I required, just informed me I needed some filter and told me my total without asking if I actually wanted it. I went here yesterday for my state inspection on my car and i was not going to lie i was alittle worried due to the fact that i just bought the car and know nothing about it and this is a great place they are not like most shops and won't let you around the vehicle while they work on it, this place aloud me to walk around with them as if I was one of them and answered any questions I had. I mean yes I am a mechanic but I know nothing about the state inspection stuff I was able to learn so much thank you guys for that and to all that need service do at least check out this place first. read more

I would not take your car here, I took my car in to get an oil change and inspection. Less than 24 hours my engine seized up. I had to have my car towed back to the shop only to be told they would have to take it to their other shop miles away to see what the problem was (at my expense) then I was told that there was not enough coolant in my car and that is probably what happened even though the receipt with my inspection results says coolant reservoir level Checked OK, they said that between Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, I could not prove I had not done anything to cause this. So my car is dead, pretty coincidental that it happened less than 24 hours after I left their shop. Oh but I can pay them $1500 to $5000 to fix it. Fantastic Thanks guys. You are Awesome. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! My car was running fine before they got their obviously inexperienced hands on it. Monkeys could do a better job! read more
