I just got off the phone with the manager of this shop. I was inquiring about a simple gear shifter swap. He told me he has never done anything like that. I explained to him that I'm a disabled veteran with limited hand function and that I have the model number of the part I needed installed. I asked if he would be willing to take a look at it online or in person. He then said that he would have to talk to his mechanic. I asked if I could speak with his mechanic and he said he was off today. It was one of the most unprofessional conversations I have ever had with a businessman. read more

I took my truck to Jon's for a muffler replacement on Saturday. They were quick to get on it and the price was fair but when I picked it up I went to get in it and my door handle was broken. I informed them about it and they came out and looked at it. After looking at it I told them that it wasn't broken when it came in too which he replied "things break" And if I purchased the handle they would install it for me. I think they should take responsibility and make this right. read more

Great shop! I had to replace the muffler for our '08 Toyota Sequoia and was referred to Jeff at Jon's Brake and Muffler by my (trusted) mechanic ... which said a lot about Jon's. I called and set up a visit for the next business day (they don't take appointments, which was/is no problem). Russell and Jeff were there on time and replaced the muffler very quickly. Jeff was able to work around my schedule and recommended a couple options. The work was terrific and the cost very reasonable. I am in the Air Force and had just been stationed here, so not knowing the area, I took my car to the Nissan dealership (stealership)...they tried to recommend thousands of dollars worth of fixes to my car at the 30K mile checkup. One of the fixes was brakes. Needless to say, I looked for a second opinion. I took the car to Jon's Brake and Muffler and they called me about 20 minutes later saying to come pick up my car...he told me that he wouldn't replace pads that had 80% and 50% left on them. Honesty is a hard thing to come by and it's nice to have someone who won't bilk you out of your money. I will definitely use him when I have to replace my brakes. read more

I took my daughter in laws vehicle to Jon's to get the breaks checked out after having NTB tell her that both the front and rear break pads and rotors needed replacing and gave her a $1200 estimate. Jeff checked it out and let me know that just the front pads needed replacing and the rotors resurfaced, everything else looked good. HORRIBLE. Took my 2004 Honda there for a transmission rebuild. so far I've had to take it back 3 times. most recently it has been around 3 weeks (and counting) they didn't do the job right, didn't meet the deadline they set for me to pick it up. there is a considerable amount of new body damage including 2 or 3 hammer strikes to the roof, almost breaking my wind shield.
