Don't sign a lease at the cottages till you have talked to current residents! I can only list so many of the problems with this place. I have lived at 3 different university housings, but this is the worst one. The place was built to fall apart. Your paying way to much money and getting nothing for it. Things wrong with the cottages off the top of my head: 1 dumpster as far away as possible They like to tow cars away and have a terrible parking pass system. I currently live here and just moved in a month ago the AC already exploded and water leaked from our ceiling for days before they could find someone to fix it even though it was an emergency. The railing fell off our stairwell and it took forever to get anyone to come fix it. I am a parent writing about my dissatisfaction with Cottages of Tempe. One of my sons roommates brought BEDBUGS into their unit. The management (Erica) did not enforce the students living in my sons unit to adequately prep for bug spraying. The BEDBUGS moved in just after Christmas. By the end of January the BEDBUGS were still there. My son had pretty much stayed away from before Christmas until he moved his things out at the end of January. His roommates refused to clean up and prep their unit as requested but Erica seemed to think it was good enough and had the Smart pest solutions spray. Omg the place was disgusting. My son is hoping for someone to take over his lease but would you want to live in a unit knowing of BEDBUGS. When I talked to Smart pest solutions I was told only my sons room was sprayed because it was the only one properly prepped. But the management at the cottages says it was all sprayed. I have asked that my son be able to get out of his lease but Erica says no one can break a lease. BUT....a few months ago another one of my sons roommates WAS LET OUT OF HIS LEASE. I am an honest person and don't think highly of those people who are dishonest.....especially a company. Students beware my son has now moved his furniture out HOWEVER HE STULL HAS A LEASE AND HIS KEY TO THE APARTMENT.and now the management is telling him that he must now pay for the next 5 months rent....within the next two weeks or else they will refer to a collection agency. lived here for two years. Got stuck in a second lease since they make you resign in October which is only two months of living there so I had no idea what was to come. They give little to no care if you are in an AWFUL living situation and will not let you transfer units (they offer it but do not look nor care) and breaking a lease is nearly impossible... you have to find someone to take it over. Not only this my AC was broken for both summers and they could never fix it. The moral of the story was that I walked away from RedPoint with more than one fan for my small room. Trying to go to the pool and relax? Forget it the majority of the time the pool is closed or there are a lot of people playing music and being loud. On top of all of this, some may love this idea while others do not so much you can smoke in the units which means your house can always smell of drugs and there is nothing one can do. The only reason why I gave them two stars was because the maintenance was very quick and the majority of the time solved the issue. My cottage was charged $50 for about 5 Little rocks that had weird goo on them. Then, they NEVER fixed it! Still there to this day! The houses fall apart and are not in great shape. If you like partying 24/7, don't give a crap about anyone else but yourself, and like living with a lot of broken amenities then this is the place for you! I loved the cottages when I first moved in and loved having the shuttle service since I didn't have my car for a few months until about 2 months in the shuttle never worked, had to waste so much money on Uber/lyft just to get to class and back. Was told we could send in a receipt to be reimbursed and only got $12 back when I spent WAY more. They eventually got vans to transport students back and forth but if you weren't there waiting 15 minutes ahead you weren't getting in so good luck finding a way to class. As for the students that live there, they're all spoiled Greek life students who will throw glass all in the pool/surrounding area. Will throw up wherever they please, even if it's basically your front door and drive like complete a**holes who think they own the place. 98% of the students party all night and will be screaming in front of your window, blasting music at unreasonable hours and annoy the living f*ck outta you by ringing your doorbell for 5 minutes straight at 4am. OH! Did they mention they have security at night? Yeah they don't do crap besides heat up a seat on the bench for you and test out the WiFi. I had to move 3 TIMES within my one year lease which is beyond ridiculous. Worst was my kitchen floor was leaking water from under the vinyl flooring and I told the office but they just gave me a fan and said it'll dry up. Wasn't until I basically harassed the office for living in a lake for A MONTH and not getting reimbursed for any electric used from them constantly coming in that FINALLY they were gonna hire professionals to figure out the problem. Turned out the entire kitchen had to be torn apart from a plumbing issue so I had to move for the third time! Maintenance was very friendly and I feel bad for constantly having to fix and clean up after spoiled, carefree, sorority and frat students. Lastly, they rip you off with every penny they can. My roommates and I kept the place spotless and deep cleaned every weekend but when I moved out only I was charged for needing the couch to be clean. From what? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They had nothing to charge me for but wanted to find something just to get more money. I've had many bad experiences living here, my roommates were fine cause I knew them all, but the staff here and the security of RedPoint is disappointing. I understand in these times it's hard for business to find workers but still went to get a package and ended up leaving after 3 hours of waiting cause no one decided to show up to work. Security wise the security is a bunch of alcoholic weed smoking junkies, I literally watched them smoke a joint with a resident, I also had my motorcycle stolen from the property, the gate doesn't work at all, it's open 24/7 and has been like this for 3+ months now! This place is AWFUL. Do not live here!!! I moved here from out of state and into an apartment that looked NOTHING like what's advertised!! You get fined for literally everything and end up paying twice your rent amount each month. When I was looking at places to live one of the reasons I picked here was because it was more affordable than most places by the school but in the end it's not! Not at all. You could live somewhere extremely nice for the amounts they end up charging to your account each month. Speaking to certain people in the office is never pleasant. This isn't the best place to live. Being too far off campus isn't bad but the shuttle is constantly down and the pool is always closed. Lived here for a year and was paired with the worst roommates ever. Had to pay a fee to transfer rooms for MY safety. As the parent of a child who lives here, I looked at all the reviews as well as read the entire contract before signing the lease. Our daughter did the same as well as asked her friends who had previously lived here. I called the office many times and asked questions due to the large number of negative reviews, and in the end we decided to go ahead with the Cottages due to some positive reviews from our daughter's friends over other places we were looking at. That being said, we did have a few hiccups on moving in, but the new manager ReAnna did her best to help us work through the issues. Almost every one has been taken of. She has been extremely helpful and genuinely cares about turning the place around and raising it's reputation. She is firm, but fair; and you can tell she really cares about the community running smoothly and the residents being happy. BUT, she rightfully expects people to follow the rules and do the right thing, and we are grateful for that mindset! Another reviewer stated that college kids work there and weren't helpful, but it has been our experience that if they don't know something, they get someone to help you that does. They have all been nice to my daughter, and she has nothing but kind words for the staff. They have a very nice pool, spa, workout facility, game room and even a study room. They do special things for the kids and are always giving something away whether it's t shirts, hats, cups, dog toys etc. To the parents: If you have raised your child right, to be respectful of others, to follow the rules, and to treat people how they would want to be treated, your student will likely have few problems that can't be worked out. If not, look elsewhere. Entitled kids are not suffered gladly here. To the kids: Do the above, and not only will you have a good time here, but your life in general will be happier, more people will like and respect you, and the world will be a better place! This place is a scam. Move Out: When I moved in it was not very clean, at move out I was sure to clean the enitre place yet was still charged. Everyone I spoke to got a 55 dollar charge, it seems like every person who lives there gets this charge at move out. Living: It was very loud. My refirigerator was broke and it took them two weeks to come and fix it. The dishwasher was broken on the day of move in and it was never fixed. Any repair that is done, is done poorly. They do inspections, hwere they walk through your apartment, like its a dormatory. The parking is a nightmare, they will tow anyone as soon as the permit is up, even if there is a lot of free space to park. A tree collapsed about a month beore move out, it took up 3 parking spots, and when I moved out it was still in the spots. Please for your own good, live somewhere else. read more

Be very aware everyone! Read your contract! Section 5! Specifically states if you plan to move out before the end of your contract (every intention of paying the rent until my lease expires) and return your keys to the office, you have given Redpoint the right to rent your space out to another tenant without any notification to tenant still fulfilling their contract, and still paying your portion of the electric bill. Even more troubling is the fact I was not given a courtesy email notifying me that I needed to contact the electrical company/simplebills and make sure my account was cancelled. Redpoint knows very well if a tenant is still paying their rent until the end of their lease, you are darn well paying for electricity! The contract you sign states you have to have electric service for the duration of your contract. They expect me to adhere to my lease agreement but when it comes to a new tenant that they have moved into my space, they don't. Everyone's contract specifically states that a new tenant BEFORE they move in has to have their electric service established in their name for the date they are to move in. I'll be charged for the new tenants electricity they use. Is Redpoint going to help with getting me reimbursed? My advice to others to avoid getting into the same situation........turn in your keys the last day of your lease contfact. I never intended to write a review, positive or negative, but the way this company handled this situation, I felt I had to speak out. Literally all this company wants is your money. If your a 1st time renter lemme tell you wtf just happened. So in june, i called cause i was interested and the lady said, "oh yah just sign the lease, its not a for sure thing but it will hold your place." DONT U EVER SAY THAT TO A PERSON, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEIR DOING. so now, i was permanently stuck because i wanted to "hold my place" so i can move in with my friends. This townhome is basically $3,000. Take you and your friends and rent a frickin house and save ur time. You can get a beautiful big home for cheaper and split rent however you please. I decided you know what... this isnt for me, so in june i called and was like, hey si im not interested in moving here in AUGUST. (Btw, move in date is august 17th but they collect rent on the 1st, go f urself) so they said i had to find a replacement. It took 2 months for me to find a replacement. Then, you still have to pay the $250 and ontop of that $203.60 for you to "transfer" ovwr your lease. So if u wanted to back out ur paying them $453 and u didnt even live there, i didnt even step foot on the property. Me and my replacement have called numerous times because they messed up a payment or billing from my replacement, charged her when they shouldnt have or they werent straight forward and left us with multiple questions on what to do next. read more

My daughter's apartment was infested with BED BUGS!!!! Of course, this wasn't noticed until a week or so after moving in when the bites were getting bad and bugs were noticed. When informing the property manager (ERICA), she gave us an attitude like we should have noticed this upon inspection. Then she didn't really believe us and needed to have her exterminator inspect the property to verify. Once verified, she continued to have a negative, condescending attitude and acted as if she was doing us a favor to get the exterminator to treat the place. The treatment needed to be done twice over several days. After the first treatment, they expected to girls to move back in and sleep on the same mattresses...before the 2nd treatment was completed. They didn't offer any help for an alternate place to stay other than a $25 AMEX gift card. I tried calling Erica's boss, STEVE. Steve never returned my call. Aside from the bugs, the place was filthy upon move-in. Pet hair, broken fixtures, stains on the couch, blinds covered with dust and dirt. The carpet was dirty and worn out. After lots tears, 4 sets of parents complaining and a couple months of time, the issues were finally corrected. The Cottages look great on the surface, but are horribly run. The customer is always wrong at this place! The Cottages response is laughable! Yes, they eventually remedied the sitiation, but only after pulling teeth, numerous complaints, offering far less every step of the way vs what they claim. So, not only are they rude to their customers and act as if they're doing you a favor to fix their problem, they are distorting the truth! Stay as far away as possible. BTW, all the girls had bed bug bites and they resisted replacing the mattresses and wanted them to sleep on dead bed bugs. And hotels were not offered...until complaining and only one girl refused because she had family to stay with. And again, the credit was given because the girls couldn't live there for 1-2 weeks while the place was being treated AND only after complaining. Liars! read more

This place is so fucking wild. There's been a hole in our kitchen ceiling since we moved in and all they do is keep plastering over it?? Which doesn't work because whatever caused the whole in the first place just does it again. And then we have to put in another request. There's water damage and mold all over the bathroom and they tow your car if you don't have a little window thing. (Which they don't tell you they need). The office people are rude and the office is literally only open for a few hours a day and never when you need them. The shuttle to campus is nice but it's broken constantly and the fucking bus drivers leave early so you miss your stop constantly because they don't have the fucking patience to wait to drive off until the correct time. Also redpoint claims to have a "shuttle tracker", to track when it comes. It doesn't work. It never has. Also they charge you rent for the entire month of August even though they only let you move in the last week. Don't know why I'm paying $900 for a place I've only lived in for 7 days but cool. just moved out of here a week and a half ago and would never sign a lease here again. 1. they lied to me about how much i would be paying. they matched my price to my roommate and said that would be my rate, when i signed the papers it was $80 higher then they promised. when i asked they said "oh we just have to print out the new lease papers but don't worry" realized three months in they have been overcharging me, they said "well there's no record of it so sorry" vividly remember & have witnesses backing me up, guess the workers lie also. 2. parking is atrocious. you get one uncovered spot included in your rent and my first weeks living there i would drive around for 45 minutes trying to find a spot until i was forced to buy a covered spot. news flash there isn't enough spots for residents, so you can park in the neighborhood and risk getting towed or ticketed or have your car broken into because it is not a good area. when having visitors they say to simply "get a visitors pass" another news flash they never give out visitors passes , so like many of my friends they will tow ur car and charge u $250 to get it back for simply visiting someone who lives at redpoint. 3. they make up dumb fees to smack on when you move out for no reason. my carpet was disgusting and smelly from the second i moved in and i cleaned every inch of my room & am a super clean person, yet they charge me for carpet cleaning. news flash redpoint why don't you clean the carpet before giving it to new residents and making it seem like it's their fault. 4. multiple shootings while i lived here. i woke up multiple times to gun shots and police in our complex, security is a joke. 5. the pool is disgusting. i went to go swim and saw people having s** in the pool. it reeks of chlorine and my girl friends and i always get infections after we leave there. 6. washer reeked & was full of mold when we moved in and continued to come back. 7. the only good thing about this place is the maintenance, they will come any hour and fix your issue asap. save yourself the money and find a nicer place where u won't have to share with 4 other random people. management is a joke and does not give a crap about you. read more

She's very excited to live with her friends, who are already there, but the management will not assist us with a pre-move in parking problem. My sister lives here currently and couldn't be happier. Her unit is beautiful and the pool is stunning. The clubhouse, which has a workout room, a study room and more, is open 24 hours and is incredible! The staff is friendly and helpful. This Housing Complex is seriously ridiculous they don't help people get out of their lease and they also cannot help other roommates be evicted for unsanitary animal issues.They also constantly shut things down randomly for long periods of time and never respond to emails and phone calls would not want anyone to waste their money on this living situation. We have not yet moved into this place. We have found it to be a nice, secure place to live. It passed the parent test. However, we are unable to rent this year due to our life circumstances changing. If you are looking for a 4 bedroom unfurnished unit we are willing to pay you $500 once approved to take our spot for an all female, 4 bedroom unfurnished unit. Parent here. If you enjoy getting scammed, definitely this is the place to pay for your child to live. In the 2.5 years my daughter was loyal to this community, she experienced: -Fake charges. When brought up to office staff, they would take them off immediately. They have the perfect system in place to scam parents with fake charges if rent charges aren't constantly being reviewed. If you live here, you will NEVER be paying base rent + utilities. There is always a fraudulent charge because they have to make up for the fact that no one wants to live there. -An incredibly unsafe community- my daughter was sent to the emergency room after being injured on the property due to a dumpster being inaccessible. Frequently police visit the property for homeless people, drug addicts, and other criminals (several of her friends saw knife and gun-wielding nonresidents on the property because they keep their community gate open most of the day). -Bedbugs. Several other reviewers mentioned this as well. -Maintenance (30-50 YEAR OLD MEN) walking into my 18 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER'S BEDROOM with no notification, announcement, or permission. Staff will be entering your apartment at least 4 times a year for "inspections" plus several other times. It got as bad as ONCE A WEEK for months on end. Very upsetting to hear about as a dad. This was brought to the attention of management who complained she would take time away from caring for her baby to personally inspect our apartment when need be. How about give an announcement first? Fortunately I am able to hire a personal injury attorney for my daughter's injury and we are in the legislative process for disputing of charges. If my review hasn't sold you yet, she and each of her roommates in her 5 bedroom unit were billed several months AFTER move-out for "trash". When asked for a list of charges via phone, the Cottages agreed to, never sent them, and sent them to collections. read more

Currently writing this review at 2AM on a Thursday Night, listening to my neighbors throwing a raging party with fights breaking out. DO NOT, WHATSOEVER LIVE HERE, unless you are in a frat/sorority and like to party 24/7. Where to start... When the temp is above 80 degrees, the pool is packed and everyone is drinking alcohol, playing beer pong, spilling alcohol into the pool, beer cans floating around. Disgusting. Me and my boyfriend have called the cops on our neighbors multiple times and management does not care, nor do they care about the alcohol in the pool. This is because management is run by frat guys. The rooms are fine, amenities are fine, but everyone is up until 3AM every single night partying. Just do not live here. People are screaming in the streets every single night, trash and beer cans blowing around the complex because valet "didn't secure a porter" and the trash wasn't picked up for a week, and to top it all off, we are forced to drive our recycling to a nearby hotel because The Cottages do not offer recycling. Do not believe the good reviews, do not believe management's responses. Just avoid this place. I cannot wait until my lease ends in July, thank god. read more

The front office manager (Kelsey) lied to me about having the packages I sent to the complex and denied my friend multiple Christmas packages I had sent to him. I have pictures and proof with pictures, dates, timelines and names. TO make a long story short, I sent my friend , who lived at the apartment complex, multiple packages for him and my brother. My friend notified me he would not be living in the complex before too long. The shipping took longer than expected, due to holiday back up. When I was notified the packages had arrived, I told my friend to pick them up from the office. Kelsey (property manager) told him she did not have the package and told him to contact amazon. I reached out to her to show her that date, time and photos amazon had but she would said she would not talk to me about the package. I told my friend to go back and ask for his packages again. Kelsey(property manager) who told me earlier she did not have the packages, gave my friend one of the packages. He saw the other package(package that was left on the front door) and asked for it but she said she didn't have it. It is illegal to pick up a package from your door step, with your name, without your permission. This is shown on USPS, 18 U.S. Code, Chapter 83, Ss 1702. It is also illegal to deny a person his/her package if they are in possession of it. I informed her of this and she let me know she was not worried and said she will returning the next incoming package. I asked if she would be willing to let my friend pick up the Christmas package, telling her we would never ask for mail again but she simply said "NO". She would not forward to his new address: Nothing. I reached out to the regional manager of Scion Properties (Gretchen) and explained my unfortunate experience with The Cottages; as did my friend. She also Cc the manager of The Cottages, but did not tell me. She responded, expressing that nothing would be done, saying my friends name was not on the package; which is a lie. I sent her a picture of the package details which had his first and last name on the box; along with the date and time. On one of the box's there was a middle name, with my freinds full name and that was Kelsey's(property manager) reason for not giving my friend one of the packages; which she ended up later giving him. My friend received one package out of multiple. I have recently separated from the army and have been looking at places to live in Arizona. Based off my experience with the front office , and hearing other tenants stories, I do not recommend living here until new management is in place, and regional expresses empathy for such a simple request. While serving in the army, I/we were taught to exercise integrity while reminding each other of morals and ethics. I do not appreciate the property manager (Kelsey) lying to me, or the regional manager disregarding the entire situation. This place is actually a great place to live if you are in college and between the ages of 18-22. If you have a group of three friends ask for their 3 bedroom. They come furnished or unfurnished but if you get furnished make sure to check the mattresses even though they clean them. You can also get a four bedroom with for friends or three friends and one random. Same goes for their five bedroom. They do fill up the apartment with randoms if a room is open, since its pretty much just like renting a room which works also since they allow to sub-lease. There is a lot of benefits to live here if your going to ASU. THE BEST being the shuttle that goes from campus to cottages every 20 min from Mon - Friday. I was on 2 year waiting list for ASU Apache parking lot and needed a place to move into quick, so I moved in with 3 other randoms. Im older than most of the ppl here so am not a fan of having to hear partying every night. But if looking for a decent, somewhat expensive place to live while at ASU I would recommend this place. Has office/ study rooms and printer. Big pool. Goof coffee machine and a lot more. read more

If your thinking about living here... DON'T. Every amenity they promise they do not follow through and do the bare minimum for their residents. Year one living here my friend had bed bugs and the cottages did not compensate them for the hotel room or anything. We had a roommate who had her boyfriend and pit bull live with us and she gave him a key and when we complained was anything done about it? no. We had already signed a lease for another year and it got better when steve was the general manager. He would come any hour of the day if something was wrong. This semester the pool has been closed at least 4 time and the tanning beds are being taken away before our lease is up. Would I have signed if I knew the pool would be shut down most of the time and the tanning beds would be closed down? no. I really wish I could give this place 0 stars. I have had the worst experience living here, and I pay a ridiculous amount for the quality of this complex. 1. I am a RESIDENT here and I still had my car towed and had to pay over 150 to get it back 2. Our washer and dryer has been broken ever since we moved in, and every time maintenance comes to look at it they say nothing is wrong, when it NEVER cleans our clothes 3. Management is not helpful for anything, she thought I was lying about getting a new car (and still would not compensate for towing my car) 4. Parking system sucks all around, if you are coming to the cottages i suggest you don't drive. Even if you have a permit you will get towed because all they want is money. 5. They fine you for everything. Money hungry. The rent keeps going up, and I can't believe they keep getting away with raising it. DONT DO IT!!!! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. YOU PAY FOR A NICE POOL AND THAT'S IT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!! 0/10 read more

When my daughter moved in the whole condo was just dirty. Not just old and beat up but unclean. She had already told her roommates she would live there so she moved in. We DID take photos of the place empty before they moved in but that did not matter. When they moved out each one was assessed a fee. They CLAIMED my daughters closet needed new carpet because of a stain. We also took photos upon move out which showed NO STAIN and myself, my husband and her boyfriend scrubbed the place for 2 hours and it was MUCH cleaner when she left than when she arrived. Photos did not matter to them--they claim to have taken their own but they were not of her room. She was assessed $161 for shag carpet in a 3 x 3 closet which was a SCAM. My daughter had bugs and scorpions in her room while she was there and we had to go spray to try to keep them out. Believe me if we could start over she WOULD NOT live there. Each girl got assessed a fine. I did not see their rooms before and after but I did my daughters. This is their way of making money and if you don't pay they just turn it over to collections and do not even entertain a meeting or allowing me to show my photos or listening to reason. THEY ARE AWFUL and they pray on these students. Too many nice places in Tempe to live to stay here. read more

Lived here for year and Got out as soon as possible. The rent was high and doesn't match the quality of the place I stayed in a 5bed 5 bath. And it was horrible. When it came for move our day J went to go do sweep of the house and my roommate left a bunch of trash and personal items that I knew Repoint would charge us for it. I went to the from office right before keys were due and informed them of the situation and told me to go back and take pictures of what's not mine and the person at the office assured me that the charges would come off if I had proof. So I took pictures and emailed them to the property manager. YET you guessed it I am still charged for trash and common area damages that were done to the house before I moved in. Grace who works at the front desk hung up on me when I asked to speak with the manager. And the property manager doesn't respond to emails. So if you ever decide to live here be prepared for them to charge you for things you didn't do after move out! read more

Parents BEWARE! If you are signing a lease as a guarantor, you have no rights. Once you sign the "ongoing continuous" lease, your son or daughter can renew their lease without your permission whenever they want. They offer bonuses to these dumb kids to sign early for the next year and now you're on the hook for over $800 a month for another year whether you like it or not! This should be illegal! The billing system is pretty sketchy, watch your bills for overcharges. Charged for water bills when she wasn't there for 2 months. There will be fines galore, especially trash, and impossible to prove it's not your kids trash. You won't get your deposit back, they consider it a redecorating fee when they move out. My daughter moved across the street, she had to put her things in storage for 2 weeks. Not only did they try to keep her deposit, they never cleaned the room she left, or the new place she moved into, and wanted to charge us a second deposit. I argued with them and didn't give up, and got a portion back. You get absolutely nowhere with the management, they wear you down with their canned responses and stupidity. I spent a week there, it's party central, and many cars were vandalized, there's no parking spots, and a group playing beer pong in the pool left trash behind floating in the pool. The pool is pretty, when no one is there, that's about it. Appliances were quirky, and apparently no one bothers with the maintenance or repair. The girls said it was a waste of time to call maintenance, they wouldn't show up. It's just a matter of time before it gets run down and dumpy. The most recent problems are the scorpions in their unit, and a leaky refrigerator. Didn't want to renew lease, but I had no say in the matter. Our lease isn't up until August, and they already coaxed my daughter into signing up for 2019. Pretty shady if you ask me!! read more

Looks great on photos but really made poorly. My son is staying another year because he signed the lease for the following year right after he moved in. Told him the only way to get unit they wanted. It's a big corporate scam. Now he has to find a place for 2 weeks while they get the place ready and still pay for the month. How do they get away with this? Can I give a half star? read more

I love this place!!! Can I live here forever?? Property management is great, the place is kept clean, & the pool is gorgeous.. fireplace, hot tub, and kitchen area for you and your friends to grill and hangout at. we have so much fun here at the cottages. My parents think the place is beautiful and they have had no issues whatsoever with me living here, in fact, sometimes I think they are jealous of the cottage life! Erica has been more than helpful/accommodating for me and my room mates and other tenants I know that live here. I'm so thankful for that! This place is terrible and management thinks she's never wrong and talks down to everyone! Just because she's nice looking and wears short dresses doesn't mean she's right! This is the place where Tempe Police found a nude girl at the dumpster passed out, probably rape victim, and went door to door asking for info. This is the place that hands out violations hourly, or when out of town, true or not. Then never writes them for people who work there who violate rules daily! This is place that tows vehicles without thinking! They are lazy and don't care. They go around taking pictures of front porches and assume that's how they always look. Those places are small! So when cleaning you have to put stuff on your porch. They only have 1 garbage bin for the entire place so everyone has to walk their garbage far. Why not have trash bins at every unit then once a week do pick up? Residents pay for trash service!! Also designate a doggy area for pets and fence it in!! Rent is expensive here and you do not get your money's worth at all! It actually cost you more and adds stress to your life having to fight with egomaniac manager. NOT RENEWING LEASE! read more
