Hey wasn't I here just a week ago or so? This food's going to get me in trouble! This time I opted for a traditional round of grits, bacon and egg- scrambled well. All were delicious as well as the coffee. As luck would have it, I ran into Mr. Willie, the all time veteran RFT server and in my humble opinion arguably the single best server in all of South LA! Now that saying something right? In any case, Mr. Willie can usually be found at the dine in location a bit further down the road on Florence Ave. If memory serves me correct, he indicated he's there Friday through Sunday. Today I want a small lottery and ran into Willie amidst this great food and environment. And so, while Mr. Willie himself didn't actually serve us on this particular occasion, he's done so countless times in my Yelp yesteryear days! Therefore, it's without hesitation, to name Mr. Willie-pictured, my CSA (CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL STAR) of ALL TIME at this particular family business-and they've had some good ones throughout the years. Stop by this place on a whim given I have seen this place many times and today determined to have breakfast. It is a small spot with few tables inside and outside and to-go vibe. The decor was enough and matched the vibe of the restaurant. I wanted some croquettes given is a creole inspired place. So I got the salmon croquettes breakfast combination with loaded country style potatoes, and a biscuit and don't forget the scrambled eggs because those was good too . Service was good. Being from the south in LA it's hard to find true southern food that is actually good. Reds Flavor table is amazing! This location is not the sit down restaurant location, this is the sub spot that mainly serve Togo plates. They have a small dining area where you can sit if you like. We went and had the sudden urge to order everything off the menu but had to reel it in and make a very hard decision. We decided on the shrimp and crab omelette, jambalaya omelette, and peach pancakes. Everything was full of flavor and very, very, VERY, hearty. We were full for the full day after eating. I touched down in Los Angeles and was looking for my brunch fix. This black owned spot came highly recommended on the clock app and I was happy to catch them right before they closed! They're open Wednesday to Sunday, 7AM-3PM and serve southern style breakfast food. I ordered the fried shrimp with loaded potatoes a biscuit and eggs. Everything was flavored pretty well! I saw a good review for this spot on instagram and had to come try it out. It did not disappoint at all. It is a small spot, but personable. The service was great and I felt welcomed. The food was so damn good. The peach cobbler French toast was something I didn't know I needed in my life. Hit it with that soft butter, syrup and add some more of the peach cobbler sauce and my toes curled up. The turkey sausage was cool, but I had my heart set on the links and they ran out. The potatoes and eggs were also good. Nothing special about them, but they hit the spot. Then I had the Dirty South drink and it was one of the best drinks I had. This is a must try in my opinion. Idk what took me so long to update as I have been here a couple of times to pick up food. Food just as good as the Florence location without the hassle parking and crowd. It's more of a to go spot but they do have a few tables to sit down and enjoy your food there. Staff is always friendly and personable and you don't always get that in a to go experience. This is the kinda breakfast where you will eat off of it for hours and full for the rest of the day, so be prepared. I came today to pick up an order for my mom as it's her birthday and she requested their salmon croquettes as she loves them so much. I had other things to do today so couldn't get the breakfast because this is not good you eat if you want to be productive. Lol! Flavor Table can do no wrong in my eyes. My one recommendation is to call ahead and place your order for pick-up because there will be a wait. The food is so good and the portion sizes are so large that I always have leftovers. My fave is the shrimp and grits, as the sauce is top notch. This delicious spot is located in downtown Inglewood a little spot you can easily miss in the cvs shopping center the place is very small but has a welcoming southern feel. Staff there was coo, I think it would add an extra touch if the cashier smiled upon greeting customers and seemed happy to assist. I order grits bacon and country style potatoes. The grits were perfect not too runny not to thick just perfect the bacon was a nice piece and the potatoes has flavor and were indeed loaded. It cost around 20-21 bucks they don't serve any beverage besides coffee which is kinda a bummer but overall my experience was pretty cool. If the add more beverages to their menu and have the staff smile more I could've given this experience 5 stars! I still highly recommend! I absolutely love this place. I would hope that I had already reviewed this restaurant because I have eaten there around 6 times and they have yet to disappoint. I went to this place today on my daughters recommendation because she had been there and said it was really good so I decided to try it. It's a very small place in a strip mall but easy to find as the name is advertised outside. It's quaint and cute with indoor and outdoor seating. It was not crowded at 1030 AM and it was about a 20 minute wait.... But we'll worth the wait. You can also call your order in and pick it up. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my daughter ordered chicken pork sausage with grits and eggs. Both delicious. Omg I think the best shrimp and grits I've ever had. Accidentally came to the take out only location, call it a GPS error. I was a little disappointed at first at seeing only take out container being given, but that was my fault and not the staff's. Really long wait but again the food is made to order, so I can appreciate the care for freshness. Also all of my minor annoyances were erased the moment I bit into the biscuit! OMG it was so delicious 10/10! The short rib and grits plate 11/10, so much flavor, generous portion and the ribs were succulent and the pepper and onions added the necessary contrast. I might dare say it was a near perfect plate of food! Where we were left disappointed was with the French toast. Mediocre toasts, dry and didn't really taste of much, the peaches helped but only made them edible but not enjoyable. Would definitely skip out of those altogether, maybe the pancakes would have been a better choice. The person who was taking orders and handing them was friendly and we cracked some jokes about things. Had the leftover for dinner and the food was still just as great later in the day.
