Food is pretty good. The fried chicken is the best but if you pick the breast it's kind of dry. I got an egg white omelette. Basic, simple, and they got it right. We were there around 10am on a Sunday and they had already run out of country fried steak. The waiter said the next closest thing would be fried pork chops. He was nice enough to bring us out some complimentary gravy. We sat outside on their patio. Service was not the best. It was slow and they constantly forgot items we asked for. They even brought out the wrong type of bread (asked for wheat but got white) but oh well, we ate it anyways.

I haven't been to Pann's since I was a little girl. It was one of my favorite spots for breakfast. I loved it when my aunt worked l would take me here. Twenty plus years later, it is just as good. There was a little wait to be seated but it was expected. The feel of the restaurant is one of a diner. Everything was nice and clean. Now on to the food, everything was made to perfection. The food came out pretty quickly which was quite impressive. I really wish we had one of these restaurants in Nevada. Upon my next trip to Los Angeles, I will be returning.

I heard about Pann's Restaurant from a You Tube video I saw with Charles Phoenix. To visit Pann's is like stepping back in time. Take the time to admire the architecture, inside and out, to truly capture the experience. The staff here is warm and welcoming and we were given a booth to the side where we can see everyone coming and going. It is obvious that the customers return to Pann's for more than just the food. The come for the experience. We ordered mimosas, salmon croquettes, chicken fried steak, omelettes, and biscuits. Everything in our order was first rate. I really became full on the nostalgia down to the vintage clock and tiles on the wall. To me, almost everyone dining here looked like a film star. Perhaps it was because they were made to feel special and they glowed. Enjoy your visit!

Came here to grab my absolute breakfast favorite, the Denver omelette. Simple, and no frills. Arguably the best omelet in terms of keeping it simple here in L.A. What makes PANS so great? I can list of litany of things, but at the end of the day it's the ownership, loyal servers and staff and cooks that any regulars will recognize behind the counter. And while a variety of people help me out here, it's always a solid experience.

Good food. Loved the pancakes.. and the chicken wings weren't too bad. My friend enjoyed her food. This place is a staple of the community. It's definitely a fast paced place. Service was cool. The place was giving 60s- 70s vibes very groovy.

Ham steak Breakfast

Another 5 star breakfast here at Pann's! We both got the Ham Steak breakfast ($23.45) which cones your choice of sides: 2 eggs, grits, hash browns, mixed berries. I got eggs, hash browns and fresh buttermilk biscuits & gravy (add 50 cents) and my sweetheart got this exact same meal except with french toast. Everything was amazing as usual and Pann's keeps their 5 star rating from us!

I was looking for a place for breakfast 10/10 would recommend I got the bLT on sour dough . It came with pickles on the side ( a plussss cuz I love pickles ) My husband got the 1955 breakfast -- 3 wings French toast eggs !! Also got cocktails -- don't get that mango one it was nasty lmao

Spicy Chicken Patties, hash browns & mixed fruit

Mkay mkayyy Let me start by saying -- I love a good spicy chicken sausage. IDC, IDC. Now onto the review The homegirl and I slid in for a quick lunch break moment, and per usual, the food and service did NOT disappoint. This spot is a low-key gem in Inglewood -- quick, efficient, and gets you in and out without sacrificing flavor. I ordered two spicy chicken patties, hash browns, and a fruit bowl. Everything hit... but let's talk about the "berries" situation. The menu said berries, so naturally I'm thinking strawberries, blueberries, blackberries -- you know, the usual lineup. Sike it also came with oranges and bananas. I wasn't tripping, but the menu might want to switch up that wording a little, especially for people with allergies. What I will say -- they keep the table stocked with all the hot sauces and jellies your heart desires, and the staff is always super attentive. I come here pretty often, so it's actually funny this is my first time leaving a review. Anyways! If you're in the area, stop by and show them some love. P.S. They have adult beverages and parking is a little tight, so plan accordingly.

We went on a Monday morning (on a holiday) and it was busy but not overwhelmingly loud. Service was speedy. I ordered a veggie eggs Benedict and the eggs were perfect! The hash browns were delicious too. I'll probably go again if I'm in the area.

Great service, hard to find parking, food came fast too! The watermelon drink was quite disappointing, it's not like aqua fresca it was quite sweet and not refreshing as I had hoped. There's some mango in it so it has a decent flavor but I can't recommend. The salad was good but when I got the recommended vinegrette-my goodness! Oof, I couldn't eat that salad anymore. Way too much vinegar. I would try a different dressing in the future and be sure to sample the dressing first The onion rings were perfect, highly recommend! My whole group enjoyed them. The chicken tenders from my friend were very yummy, not too much breading. My chicken fried steak and the biscuit it came with were very yummy, I enjoyed it very much. My partner looked his fried chicken plate, he highly recommend getting fried chicken from here. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience and would come back. I am looking forward to the mimosas in the future, I heard they were good

Amazing food. All the servers are exceptional. I ordered the chicken wings and waffles. I also got a side of grits. I sat at the table top and the seating was comfortable and interactive with the servers. Everyone is friendly and hospitable. The parking can be a challenge but never difficult.

Wow this place is such a staple in LA, and it lives up to its hype. Service is wonderful and to the T. I personally got the chocolate malt (YUM), and the patty melt (YUM)! I came here with my family and everything was so amazing. Controversial, but the waffles are way more better here than Roscoe's. Absolutely keeping this as one of my top diners in LA!

Patty melt and fries

It had been years since I've been here but stopped here for brunch. Get there before 11 to avoid a wait. Service was prompt, food portions were generous and the place is a Time Machine. The chicken and waffles, patty melt, and French toast were tasty and filling. Their fries are also delicious. Mimosas were only $9 and there were several flavors to try.

Is delivery available?

Yes delivery through a 3rd party like Door-dash-Uber Eat's ...ect.

How is the quality of Pann's Dreamburger?

It's a solid Diner burger.

No to both! 😃

Is Panns open for take-out during the Pandemic? Its June!

They are open for take out

Is this good for large groups of 9?

I say yes! I'm sure they can accommodate.

Does Pann's still serve dinner? If they close at 3 now, I don't see them still serving it anymore. Especially since most people don't get off before then.

You can still get lunch, which is really almost the same thing. But yes, they are closing at 3pm right now.

What's ur hours?

Usually 7am-3pm

Are the bottomless mimosas really bottomless or is there a limit?? ****update - I went there and they are NOT bottomless. It's limit 4 refills****

Hey Jocelyn! There actually is a limit and 4 is the limit! Smh I knw :( lol

Love their chicken wings & waffles, but sad they close early now. I'm only able to get to Pann's in the evening. Will there ever be summer hours or perhaps weekend nights that might extend for dinner again?

Unfortunately dinner customers were becoming too few to make it profitable for the owners to stay open late. I'm sad too as well as their old employees who aren't getting as many hours as they would like. After talking about the situation with the…

When did the hours change?

in august last year

What are the most popular or favorite breakfast items?

Waffle or French toast combos are great. Add the all you can drink brunch option if you like mimosas or bloody mary's. Gritts are great and so are tge omlettes. But if you like good old fashioned diners, you can't go wrong no matter what!

She specifically said she was looking forward to that feeling of the milkshake and then the extra that frosts up the cold metal blender cup and never all fits in one glass that they serve on the side. So we sit at the counter and we watched the guy make the milkshake, and he very proudly serves us the glass, and then we watch him go and pour the remainder from the metal cup into another smaller glass and disappear with it into the kitchen, presumably to drink himself. This is a $9 milkshake, and we only got about 2/3 of the container. I was disappointed and annoyed, but then this happened: a totally different server came over and said hey, it's late, and we have some loaves of bread left. Do you wanna take a loaf? Take your pick of type. So we left the place holding a beautiful loaf of seeded sourdough bread. So .... would I recommend this place? It's a tossup. Nine dollars is a lot for half a milkshake. But they know their way around a loaf of sourdough..

You can go to a run down old diner in any city, but this is the city of the stars. On this trip even though we were already heading to the establishment it must have been an extra slow day because someone was out on the boulevard trying to direct traffic to the restaurant. About 1/3 of the tables were full when we walked in, and it took a few minutes for us to be seen and seated. The wait staff is perhaps a bit understaffed to really be at their best. Our server did not explain much to us as far as the jukebox at our table, if we could use it and how... it would have been nice to know that. I ordered a Caesar salad and a coffee milkshake. When the server asked me if I wanted a small or large salad I asked what the difference in size was, since it wasn't explained on the menu to which they just kind of shrugged at me. Regardless of the perhaps lackluster service I really loved my food, the true, lived in vintage aesthetic and overall experience. Is 10.25 perhaps a bit expensive for a milkshake, i'd say so....but considering the overpriced reality of any trip to Hollywood I think it's something I would not regret spending my money on. Even though I can see why someone would rate this spot a 3, I simply cannot let my own rating fall below a 5 because I know the next time I'm in town it will be looming in my mind as the ideal place to feed my belly and nostalgic heart.

I gotta say - I am truly shocked in the best way possible just how good Mel's Drive In is. Now,…read moreit's not the absolutely most spectacular meal I've ever had, but considering how much of a tourist trap it is and how small the crowd was for dinner on a Friday evening, it was pretty darn good stuff. Our server was Juno and she was one of the best waitresses around! Sweet, attentive, super friendly, and her smile couldn't be beat! I ordered the short rib grilled cheese with a side of twisty fries or curly fries, and a Grants milkshake.. The food is definitely expensive the sandwich alone was something like $25 for the sandwich plus $2 for the fries being "upgraded" to curly fries. The shake was $11. For the size of the sandwich, $25 is steep. But you do get a big pile of fries for the upgrade price. The sandwich was toasted well and crispy on both sides, the short rib was tender a tad dry but great flavor, and there was a good amount of cheese! I think it sat for a while because the cheese had congealed so the timing was a slight issue but didn't ruin the sandwich. The fries on the other hand were a big miss. They were SO salty and pretty dry, like my mouth was parched for water every time I ate a curly fry. I don't know what happened there but the $2 was a waste. Now back to the good - the shake was amazing. For $11 they give you a full glass plus the extra in the metal cup. It was so well balanced between the nutella and banana flavors without being overly rich or sweet. It was thick too and had really great consistency. Sadly the sandwich filled me up so I couldn't finish the shake but I would definitely return for a milkshake in the future! Overall, a solid experience and I was pleasantly surprised, and I'd be happy to return if I was in the area!
