I have been wanting to try Nashas for a while now. Today, July 9th I ordered through their website, instead of a third-party app. I ordered Six Deep Fried Ribs with Nashas' Awesome Sauce. I'm not a fan of the sauce, but taste is subjective. I also ordered Six Chicken Wings (all flats), I also ordered Odessy's Lemony Pepper and Pook's Hot & Spicy. The order came with free complimentary Deep Fried Corn pieces. I requested all sauces on the side. They were tossed in Nashas' Awesome Sauce, which I stated above this sauce is not for me. I called Nashas and explained that I did not like the ribs because of the sauce, and I also asked that the sauce be put on the side. Nasha came to the phone and patiently listened to everything I had to say and then graciously offered to remake the ribs without the sauce. The ribs without sauce is what I expected, crispy fried ribs with moist meat inside. She also included Mac and Cheese Lobster Balls. The ribs, Mac and Cheese Lobster Balls, and Chicken Wings are delicious. The Macaroni Salad is pretty good too. Not only did Nasha remake the ribs and give me some Mac and Cheese Lobster Balls to try, she personally delivered them to me. Now, how's that for excellent client service. If you haven't done so, you should definitely give Nashas a try, you won't be disappointed. Nasha is a gem serving delicious food with love. The family of this restaurant is about love through and through and it shows in the food too! Seasoning and cooking and value were 10/10! The fried Ribs and the short ribs were the best I've bought in LA!!! Get the sauces on the side for the first time. The chicken was delicious, perfectly cooked, seasoned, and juicy. The ribs are well seasoned, balanced seasoning and can stand by itself. The sauces are nice to pick and choose with each bite! The restaurant is in neighborhood house still home to the family so be respectful as they are very kind and welcoming! The father converted the house for the mother to host the restaurant and he ended up retiring from the county to help her keep the restaurant going. The family is one of 3 black families that have survived and remained in the neighborhood since the 1960s and here is where travelers can taste authentic soul food in Southern California. What an absolutely amazing spot! Nashas is a down to earth and homey small business that serves truly delicious food! When I first arrived I admit I was a little hesitant to give it a chance since it's located at a residential address...BEST Decision ever! The exterior space was fully converted into a small venue complete with an outdoor kitchen, comfortable seating areas and even TVs to watch the game while you eat. I honestly felt like I was right at home. There's a warmth and nostalgic charm like relaxing with family at a backyard cookout. Nasha was the sweetest! Such a kind soul. She welcomed me in with a smile and checked in several times during my meal just to make sure I had everything I needed. She even offered a complimentary water even though I had chosen not to order a drink with my meal. I ordered the Fried Catfish and Shrimp combo plate. It was excellent! All of the food is cooked fresh right in front of you. The fish was perfectly flaky with a tasty mixture of seasonings that was perfect with the hot sauce and fries. The fried shrimp was insanely good. Perfect crunch and surprisingly fresh, no fishy after taste whatsoever. I was also really impressed not just with the flavors but the presentation. The dishes come out looking like they were garnished by a chef! Wow! Really amazing! This is definitely a 10/10! Would highly recommend this hidden gem. Delicious comfort food, made and served with love from Nasha herself. The lemon pepper wings were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of crunch and flavor. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. I also tried the sweet chili wings which came with a complimentary extra sauce on the side. Delicious. The fish in the kids' meal was buttery good. And the kids' meal came with coloring pages that my daughter enjoyed. Nasha and her sister helped with our order, and the vibes were right from the time we arrived until we left. Feel-good music was playing in the background. Everything just felt like love and community. The menu is pretty enticing, so we'll definitely be back to try the Jamaican food and more of the seafood. Ten out of ten! read more

Came here because a coworker raved about it and now I'll do the same. Nashas was 10/10 from the service down to the food . You definitely get your money's worth and more because we took some home. I would say Nasha and her family were really nice and portrayed great hospitality. She explained the menu as well as let us try the sauces before ordering which were all delicious. Home based establishment that I just happened to find out about while searching Yelp for dinner that night. Decided fried ribs would be a new experience so drove over. Street parking was easy to find and they had flags outside to identify their location. Both the Mother and daughter chefs were very welcoming. Ended up trying almost everything on the menu. Cozy sitting area in the backyard that happened to have a TV with the NCAA men's basketball playing. Beef ribs were sold out so I tried the pork fried ribs. Very good and not something you see elsewhere. Lobster and Mac balls were tasty and everything else I tried was great. To top it off their spiked slushie was incredible. A MUST TRY! Fried ribs were delicious. Really tasty food. Don't be put off by the location, because it's really cool once you get "inside." The owners are super friendly and gave us free fried broccoli while we waited. It slapped!!! Also, gave us free "slushies" while we sat in the luxurious lounge in front of the fireplace watching the game. The fried ribs were BANGING! So good. Meaty and flavorful. A friend mentioned this place that served A-1 deep-fried pork ribs. Since I like pork and I happened to be in their area, I decided to try them. Expecting a regular restaurant like Dulan's, I was surprised to find myself in the backyard of a home! But Nasha was welcoming and personable. I decided on the four-piece deep-fried ribs, and it came with a bun, potato salad, and fries. They also gave me four different sauces, separate, so I could sample them all. I could hardly wait to get home and try everything, and wasn't disappointed. Imagine if Popeye's decided to offer ribs, they would be something like this: Nice, crunchy breading, moist and flavorful meat, and the portion was huge! The sauces tended to overpower the ribs, but after I paired them with a glass of Pinot Noir, I didn't need the sauces at all. Only disappointment were the fries, and that wasn't Nasha's fault, sort of. The fries came in a plastic container that didn't breathe, so when I got home 30 minutes later, the condensate had rendered them soggy. But their potato salad was great, seasoned just right. Nasha is on to something. If she can get Snoop Dogg to try them, they could blow up. I know I'll visit them again next time I'm in the area. read more
